Agh those pics of the Bordeaux red grape high times just turned them from want to need for me...

Stuffing your phone in your sports bra sounds like a great idea but it's probably not. Especially if you get real sweaty. I fried my very first iPhone doing exactly this. I was on a long run. No matter how cute the bra, phones & sweat don't really go together. IMHO.

Love those blue hero tight stuff tights!! I may need a bit of the pocketbook for those… Any idea on the cost?

In search of navy blue/menthol inspires in a size 6, I bought a pair last year and loved them. Fell and ripped a hole in the knee and need a new pair. There is one pair on ebay, but they are priced a little too high for my budget right now. Would be willing to pay around $75 + shipping for a pair if anyone had them and wanted to sell. Thanks!

Ladies, please don't put your cellphone next to breast tissue for extended periods of time. Put it somewhere besides your bra. Why risk it?

Yes, because I always run with my Visa card sticking out and unsecured vs sliding it into the zip pocket thats on every piece of run bottoms made. :P I know they need to show the function of the bra but please do something believable - chapstick, Gu gel, phone. Same with those tights...I would NEVER put my phone there - not only would it rub the skin and bug me but it's so unsecure there. Again, show GU gels, chapstick. Argh...these types of photos are a pet peeve of mine apparently.

Not really like that rack pack bra. I hope, hope beyond hope that it's not replacing the Run Stuff Your Bra.

@ anon 10:08 am - I thought that was her Starbucks card, lol. I like zipper pockets for $, ID/ins., and Visa cards.

I like to tuck my gels in the two waistband pockets of my crops/shorts.

I asked my store manager about the Rack Pack replacing the RSYB and she seemed to think it was a replacement.

@Megan - Tight Stuff Tights are $148.

@ anon 3:56 am - I agree. I have moisture bombed my ipod by tucking it into my bra/tanks, too. That is why I like the thigh pockets on Pace Rivals and Speed Crops - keeps everything drier. The only thing I can see sticking in a bra during a run is something very light, like a few $, some tissues, or pain relievers in a ziplock, which I taken during half marathons if I am having feet problems.

@ anon 8:37 am - I know. It freaks me out. I only jam my phone in my bra when I need both hands for a brief moment. Plus, it gets sweaty there.

agree with all comments regarding bras and phones. and yes, I like zippered pockets to put my credit card too. no zippers = I would always check to make sure it is still there and it would freak me out.

I always just stick the back side of the phone case towards my skin regardless of where I put it (thigh pocket, zippered pocket in back, in the Run Stuff bra. Never had an issue with sweat and my phone that way. Same with my ipods - the back of it goes towards my body.

Off topic, does anyone know if the heathered slate studio racerback o WMTM the same silky feeling as its CRB counterpart?

The Lucent tank has sold out..anyone tried it? Just curious.

TIA!

Does anyone know what black tank is in the dash and splash hat photo online in black? looks promising

I thought putting your phone is cancer causing.. I'm sort of confused as to why Lulu allowed them to put pockets on bras. And that pocket on the side with the phone sticking out, it's only half in, you can't tell me it won't fall out why you start running.. hmmm lol

@ annon 2:02pm - I purchased the Lucent Tank in my usual size 6 and I really like it. Rulu tanks are my favorite! It's similar to the Sculpt but more fitted (I wear a 6 in the Sculpt also). The embroidery is on a double layer of mesh so you can see through it but can't really see your skin through it. It looks well made but I haven't checked out the reflective qualities yet because I just received it today.

It's interesting that CRB's used to marked down from $42 to $29 on WMTM (or so I thought)...However, recently as of this year ( I think) the MD price is 5 bucks up to $34.
I know it may be miniscule, but these price hikes really help me to decipher what I need & don't. Instead of needlessly & jumping on the sale price, I think twice (which is wonderful!). If the pink lemonade CRB were $29 I would have jumped the gun...but, now ,I rather put those bucks to the new pink paradise CRB.
For me, these price hikes are more a mind-set reality check. For ex., I was so used to defines being $99, now they are a over $100 ($108 or $118 or so); I mull & think twice over buying. Something over the $100 mark just stops me and its great. I've been such a lululemon collector that I need a wake-up call and stop collecting every shade of color out there, esp.in the same style.

Lucent jacket seems to be selling out too. Has anyone tried it? TIA.

@anon 3:40 pm..Thanks for your feedback! I hesitated on sizing ..I had to size down (from a 4) to a 2 on the Sculpt tank..so I wasn't sure if the size 4 Lucent tank would swim on me. I didn't bite the bullet. Sold out. Glad you ordered on time & are pleased.
Love Rulu too :o)
Think this is the only full piece Rulu item in this Lucent line.

Personally I would never wear a bra with pockets in it. I would never put anything in a bra except my boobs!

What is going on with the Gather and Crow Crop IIs? Seems like they're being discontinued... really hope not... :( I ordered two pairs but if they're being discontinued I may order two more. Would love to hear if they're being discontinued or not from anyone with any info please, and thank you!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:21 pm - My store manager told me today the Gather and Crows are going away for good this time.

Thank you for the info on the Gather and Crow IIs LuluAddict. Good to know, but also disappointing. I guess if I stock up on a couple more pairs I'll be good for a while. Thanks again!

I agree, anon 5:56 PM. The price hikes are getting too much, even the WMTM prices have been higher for most things it seems. Like you say, a CRB on WMTM isn't much less than one full price so may as well put it towards a newer colour!

@ Anonymous 8:21 -

The bras with pockets are a godsend to runners! When running 18-20 milers you need items like multiple Gu gels, chapstick, extra Nuun tablets, asthma inhaler, phone, ID, some cash, car FOB, kleenex, ipod w/earbuds etc. You can't carry all that in your hands while running! The pockets in the run bra's are great as run bottoms (especially shorts) are limited as to # of pockets. I can pull my chapstick out, use it, put it back without ever losing a step or stopping. Same with GU gels. My car key is always secure.

The pictures aren't showing "real" life use of the bra for runners so it does look kind of dumb, but it's a very useful feature for runners and I myself could not NOT have something like this - especially on race day or long run day!

Anonymous said...

agree with price hikes too! sometimes I see bras that are on WMTM for like $5 off. I mean, why bother?

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:47 AM - For sure! I totally understand that it's a useful feature for runners! I don't run, so I was just speaking for my own personal use I would have no need for a bra like this. Having said that though if I was a runner, I'm pretty sure I'd be more comfortable with storing stuff in pants pockets and needed to store stuff - not sure I'd want to add more volume in the bust area since I'm a DD/E cups size and don't think it would be comfortable. But I'm glad there is a bra like this for those who need and like them :)

All runners are different. I am a minimalist runner--yes, running very long distances--and I have no need for all that on a run. And I would never stuff it all in a bra and have zero need or desire for this bra. (I can run in FTB and FTBW as I am quite small busted and those bras are "forget about it" comfortable.) The older LLL crops I have with decent pockets and my SPI belt will do for the few things I bring. I also use a little LLL pouch for cards, some cash.

Also agree on above comments (or might be in the wrong thread) that LLL cheapening out on WMTM markdowns is sad. Savings of $9 or $5 - are they really that desperate? I have at times recently still had better luck on markdowns in store.
