Has anyone who loves the current (old) studio pants tried on the new ones? I am not holding out much hope of liking. They seem to have lot a lot of character w the gathers etc.? Typical of lulu lately to get rid of the details....

The Drop It Like It's Hot crop is not flattering imo. I think the lines make thighs look bigger than they are from the side view. Even the very fit and skinny are looking a little bigger in that area.

No I haven't but I noticed that too! The ruching makes the pants. Going to try to get in after work tonight, will post later...

I really don't like the more narrow straighter leg look of the Dance Studio Pants - looks nerdy to me, plus it's just not as flattering shape as the wider flare leg style for a lot of body types. I think the wider flared leg style gives a nice balanced feminine shape and flows nice, and it just looks better on me with my bigger bum and thighs than straight skinny legs styles do.

In the photo above , the new DSP look quite loose around the bum compared to the older style...

Did someone say they saw Studio IIs on mark down? Which store was that? Thanks!

I'm looking forward to trying the Dance Studio pants - the old ones looked just too weird on me

I liked the Studio Pant IIs just fine (aside from the flimsy waistband) and need the wider leg to balance out my hips. Guess I'll head to the store this weekend to see what's left of the IIs.

Love, love, love the new studio pants! Tried on today. I want to get rid of all my II's and buy III's now! They fit me the same everywhere and they just look more up to date and modern. I love my studios but they look like clown pants on me at the bottom. Yes! So happy with the more streamlined less gathered look too. Just feels and looks cleaner. I'm not overwhelmed by my pants anymore.

They are from the Lululemon Ala Moana mall from O'ahu! I'm their photographer :)

I have a pair of the the new studio pants and love them. Being 5'1" I like slightly slimmer leg. I didn't have to have these hemmed either.
