Luluaddict,
Do you mind my asking if you kept the Capoeira WUC &/or the porcelain blue CRB? I have the pipe dream blue CRB so not sure if I can justify. The Capoeira WUC are a fun crazy, but I am unsure of the white background & denim on a print that seems more for summer/spring.
TIA!

@ anon 10:49 am - I didn't keep either. I didn't like the capoeira print in person and I decided I could live without the Porcelaine CRB. It was a nicely thick CRB but I recently bought the Kayak CRB and like the brighter blue better.

I so wish I had grabbed the Kayak blue CRB but I missed out on that one. :(

the pink paradise make a a move tank is gorgeous! i saw in the shops today and bought every color. I also got both blue and black make a move pant. finally i'm excited about Lululemon things again.

@10:49 I got the porcelaine and kayak and normally I wouldn't keep both but the ONLY reason I am justifying is because the porcelaine is more similar to UCLA blue, which I will use a lot for various sports I attend there. Kayak is somewhat different from porcelaine but porcelaine is pretty similar to pipe dream, which is more vibrant and between sapphire and porcelaine. Also, I tried on the capoeira WUC and they're cute but way too much for someone like me who favors monochrome and darker colors. I know LLA answered your questions but I thought I'd add a second view. For me, I didn't really notice the white background (in my size up) even though I have a large butt, but they were just way too busy for my taste.

I saw the new Daily Practice Jacket in store and they've added a 2-way zipper..Not sure you've already discussed but I am happy to see the addition!!

I wanted to get your thoughts on Adidas hiring Christine Day as a strategic adviser for their womenswear-- I don't really love adidas clothes but curious as to what she will do -- I think their quality is a little meh as it is, also adidas is offering a new subscription box service for $150 quarterly to include 3-5 exclusive items. thoughts?

That tranquil tank looks tight in all the wrong places. Curious if anyone has tried it on and what they think?

@ anon 7:56 am - I saw that article about Christine Day and Adidas but didn't know they're offering a subscription service. I'm not a real fan of subscription services in general. I enjoy shopping way too much to let someone do it for me but I'll have to check it out. I think the real force behinds lululemon's design was Sheree Waterson, not so much Day. But it's hard to tell how much design influence Chip Wilson had over all things, too, during Waterson's tenure there. One thing under Waterson we saw was much more cohesion in the offerings, which I think is lacking now.

in regards to Adidas, why would you pay to have someone shop or suggest items to you? Seems odd to me.
The only thing I like about Adidas is their running shoes, but I don't like them as much as my Saucony.

Thanks LuluAddict & Anon @5:29 PM for your input on the Capoeira WU and the porcelaine blue CRB. I'm holding off on the Capoeira's..like the Capoeira but don't love it cuz it is a bit too busy for me(like you said) and the denim is too thick for a spring-like color.
Porcelaine blue is different from the Kayak and both are pretty.
Anon @ 5:29 Good reason to keep the Porcelaine Blue CRB..the last time Porcelaine Blue was released was about 3-4 years ago. Cheers to you & UCLA:O)
Luluaddict, while you love all shades of pink in the CRB's , I admire your discretion with the blues in the CRB's! B/c of the lack of solid CRB's of late, I find myself collecting solid colored CRB's of good fabrication. I will painfully return my Porcelaine Blue as I have the Pipe Dream Blue.

I think the idea of the subscription boxes is that it is discounted -- in the adidas one you get a limited edition Boost X shoes which retail for 120 plus at least 2 other items - boxes have 3-5 items -- i'd be interested to know what the whole box contains -

I think the subscription box idea is a great marketing practice. I have a subscription box weekly for treats (graze.com). I'm a sugar and treat addict in addition to being a lulu addict.

Clothing is certainly a different ballgame. However, if you have limited time and unlimited income, how bad would it be to get a little surprise on a regular basis? Like a Lulu Christmas Stocking. If you don't like it, you return it. But the likelihood of a subscriber keeping at least 1 item is probably pretty good. Subscribers will already enter their likes and dislikes, I assume, so that increases the odds of make at least one sale. And assuming lulu manages the sales data on every customer, they could really target the customer well.

just my two cents..
