Short tops, way too much pink, cheeseball prints. I'm over it.

hope that "dandy" print will come in speed shorts....

Not sure I am liking that digi print -- i would prefer an actual floral vs computerized print....and a white background would be nice too...especially going into spring. Love the boomjuice Speeds - I have CRB and think fast tank from last year in that colour....this year I can justify shorts, well maybe crops if they come out in WUC. The hero blue looks nice too - I just bought sweaty endeavour pants in inkwell, because Naval blue is way too dark - but either I am gaining weight or the pants are real snug fitting, they seem too tight on tummy and give me muffin top all around --- and they hit over the belly button - not good look! So I may try out hero blue to see if it is a good substitute for inkwell. Still hoping for the blooming dixie bottoms here in Canada - no signs of them yet.

@ anon 9:13 am- I think I'd like the print better on a lighter background, too - maybe a silver or white. Hero blue does look on the greenish side like Inkwell. I'm dying to see them side by side.

Simply hideous. Wow, this stuff looks so cheap. After the ridiculous LAME Winter offerings, this is such a letdown. Oh well...

Dandy Digi Porcelaine print is making the girl in the inspire tights look bottom heavy imo. immediate red flag in my books.

I agree with 9:13 & 9:29, would rather see a white background print, not liking this Dandy Digie Multi Pic, it looks too juvenile for me. Also, more striped Swiftlies, ugh, looks like I won't be buying any this spring/summer if all new colours are striped. The Trapeze Twist is nothing new, just another boring front with a hole in the back, BORING, NOT CREATIVE AT ALL.

Is it just me or does that sculpt tank make the model look pregnant? I would have to say if she is I am very happy for her, but if she is not, that shirt does not fit her well.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:39 am - I agree.

@ anon 11:08 am - Agree. The sculpt tank is not the most flattering tank in the best of circumstances.

I like Hero Blue. Curious what the peach colored sweater is in the Stretch It Out Crops pic (thought they were jet crops!). I somehow feel like we didn't get enough solid Sapphire. I hope it comes back!

Also, I'm wondering how people are liking the Runderful LS? I kept not paying attention to it because I don't like the unnecessary "tabs" at the bottom hem. But... I want the rulu and I like the simple style otherwise. Thoughts?

Wow, judgmental much? The girl in the sculpt tank looks good. She doesn't look pregnant at all. I understand about the prints not being your style but it is someone's style so you don't have to be so mean about it.

Personally I own 3 scuplt tanks and they are my favorite. Very flattering and has high coverage which is something I cannot get enough of in tanks. Obsessed with the define jacket print and the real quick crops; hope to see that in the states.

I'm loving the hero blue! I'm a sucker for darker colors. As a blonde, blue eyed, pale girl, they are much more flattering then all the bright colors. I was in the store today and didn't see anything so, I'm hoping it heads to the U.S. Side.

Surprising to see the Bhakti Life Sweater. I grabbed one in white (cream?) during the last online warehouse sale for $19. The image potentially looks the same too.

Lol anon 10:39 I was thinking the same thing. And her butt is way smaller than mine so I can only imagine how I'd look in those (not good).

I do love the Boom Juice Power Y though

I hope that new bag comes in solid too - preferably black!

Everything else - meh. I love sculpt tanks but want solid colors since I wear with speeds and skirts.

As the spring running crops start coming in, do any of you recommend a certain style for shorter ladies (I'm 5'1) with side/thigh pockets? I have had Run for your Life crops and loved them, but wish they had that pocket. Thanks for any insight or advice!

A 5-mile LS is the only thing I have bought from Lulu all winter and I used to drop about $500-600 per month! I'm not doing it consciously nor am I trying to make any sort of statement but I have just found that as I buy less and less Lulu, I am buying more and more Oiselle. Now there's a company that is really upping its game in quality and design. Run by women athletes for women athletes. I used to find myself WANTING to Giselle more but buying Lulu because it was so much cuter. No longer.

didn't Lululemon already release BOOM JUICE Speed Short in 2015? or am i just imagining?

BIA said...

I really wanted to like the sculpt tank but it is just too loose. Some people sized down 2 or 3 sizes to get a more flattering fit but I'm usually a 4 and the 2 was still huge.

The new tops are too short for my taste. I will not display my crotch in tights, and if I have to layer under these tops, their use is limited as far as I'm concerned. All in all, the pieces uploaded for the Aussies are kind of boring - nothing innovative or interesting.

boom juice tata tamer is the only thing I would buy from this collection.
My love of lulu is over.
The bras are the onlyt thing I haven't replaced with other companies, but I have enough in my closet to last me years.

The size of that bag looks great! Although I hope it comes in solid colors. Those quick crops are so Walmart.

Anonymous said...

The purse looks better than the recent updated Festival bag. I hope it comes in black.

I like the Dandy Digie Multi Print in a limited amount, such as the FTBW bra that was featured last week. That I will buy. I like the black base. I am not into too much of the print/larger surface.

I like the Hottie Short in boom juice. I have a pair of those in black from 2014 - they won me over from Speed Shorts - but I only have the one pair. I didn't even buy a single pair of Speeds in 2015 - lacklustre offerings.

As for the rest of the gear, it's a bit of a snoozefest. I suppose those blue based crops with the print on them are something different but they are not for me.

I really hope we get some great, solid CRBs. No dumb pinks or orange or cheap printed ones.

I like the hero blue colour on the pace skirt, interested to see it in person. I got really excited about the hero blue swiftly, until I noticed the stripes. Grrrr....

I wish they would bring the Var-City Tank back in colors and prints..that tank is way more flattering than the sculpt tank..IMO I wore my black to spin this am )

Frugal February will be a breeze with all this crud.

I cannot believe they brought those Bhakti life sweaters back, they are awful and the outlets were literally giving them away last season!!

I love the Runderful L/S. I got 3..the new space dye camo white/silver spoon, space dye camo caspian blue/black and the mini check pique black heathered sprinkler. All are really nice, soft and comfortable. The mini check pique is a double knit, so it's thicker. I love them all. I think the fit is great. Just mho.

I would probably stay clear of the heathered colors, as I don't think they feel as nice.

@ anon 6:43 pm - I thought the same thing. I swear a lot ended up on my local markdown rack.

@ anon 6:36 pm - Frugal February - I like that.

@ anon 4:42 pm - agree. I want one but in a solid color. Black will work for me.

@ ann - there is nothing out right now. Pace Rivals and Speed Crops will be like tights on you.

This stretch it out crops look a little too much like pajamas to me. I too am curious about the Runderful LS. I got the 5 mile in tiger stripe because the Runderful looked a bit short. At 5'7" I'm not super tall, but I prefer a bit more length. But I'd love that in Rulu. Thought on the length, anyone?

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 11:45 am - I didn't even notice the sweater but it's a new style. I like it.

Rungirl7 said...

No you aren't imagining!! I have a pair!!

I am wanting to check out the Long Hottie Hot Shorts with a 4"inseam because it's rare to see this style of shorts with an inseam longer than 2" or 3" max. I only wear Run Times and my older Groovy Run Shorts but would spend a lot more money on shorts if there were more options with longer inseams.

Loving the Hero Blue but won't be buying the swiftly because of the stripes. I would have bought 2 or 3 colours this winter had it not been for the stripes or weird patterns (snake). I only bought black heathered swiftlies but wasn't able to get my hands on the Black Heathered Sapphire Blue.

I love my Oiselle sports bras. Do you have any recommendations for long sleeve tops? I need them breathable and light weight.
