It's so weird seeing the pants go over her feet . . .
I miss the blue color scheme . . . more peacock!
I've seen WUPS styled that way a lot. I am too leery of wearing holes into my pants to do that.
I'm puzzled by the chapstick pocket on the Barre Pants. I haven't had a need to apply chapstick/lip gloss/lips stick during any of my 60 or less min barre classes over the years ... Plus, if I did, my purse is usually steps away..
I'm a shorty and I just scrunch them at the ankles 😉
Is that the gray Vinyasa that's on WMTM? It's so pretty but the reviews talk about how stiff it is--wonder if the black and gray are both bad, or just the black?
I can't stand tights being worn w the fanny hanging out it looks vulgar to me..... just saying, i realize that this is the trend these days and for a purpose, working out etc., i love tights they make your legs feel energized and all that, what i'm saying is might as well be naked too revealing imo w/ out a nice long top that covers more, i always think that looks and functions better anyways! I wish there were more cute tops that would cover the bum you know what i mean???/
@ anon 1:10 pm - you mean outside the gym? Otherwise, a long shirt is just too hot for me to work out in. I wouldn't mind more tunic length coverups, though.
I find any clothing item that completely covers my bum to be super unflattering on my short and thicker legs. Makes them look even shorter and stockier and gives me no shape at all!
@1:10 - I personally just don't care either way what others wear at all and certainly don't see it as "vulgar". I won't be 21 forever, so I'll celebrate my firm and perky deadlifting booty while I have it. Furthermore, long tops get in the way of my workouts, as I end up fidgeting with my clothes the entire time. No need to judge others for something as simple as workout attire. I've seen plenty of nice long workout tops - maybe try brands like Calia?
I can't wear anything besides Power T or CRB to the gym, even tsgirt is too warm for my workouts. I saw people wearing only sports bra in my spin class
I saw the cotton/fleece version of that Vinyasa at my local store on md. Very pretty pattern, but the material is so stiff it is almost impossible to wrap twice. Such a shame.
If my workout top covered my bum, or came down that far, it would be super uncomfortable, not to mention I would probably overheat! Plus, when I'm running, doing burpees, squats, they completely get in the way. Plus, the way my hips/waist is shaped, long tight shirts just ride up and bunch in the middle, exposing my 'vulgar' fanny anyway. Girls work out in booty shorts and bra only at my gym and/or yoga class. No big deal. To each their own. We're all just trying hard to stay in shape, so why judge, know what I mean?
I agree with the other "shorty" anon posters about long tops looking awful with my short legs. Although I'm slim, my legs are short and the worst look ever for me is high leather boots with a long top and leggings! I know that this is a trend that looks great on most people but I end up looking like I have no legs at all. I have had to take both items out of my wardrobe or use with extreme caution and never at the same time.
yeah i like seeing all the fat butts out there w/ tights on ha ha ha ha..... especially since most people are fat these days :)
