Upload!

The upload is up in Canada but not the US. Pics and comments to follow.


As far as I can tell only Canada got new things today - Snowballer Jacket (CAN).

Medium Gray Cozy Cuddle Up (CAN)

Tonka Stripe Base Runner Pant (CAN)

Only boring Gray Pique and Black Herringbone Runderful Half Zip were uploaded to Canada.

I'll update when (if?) the US has its upload.

Did you order anything today?

Update - It's somewhat up in the US. I can see the new things but I get an error message when I try to click through.

Morning After Update - the website is finally working correctly.

Think Fast Hoodie. Canadian stores have a pretty Peacock/White Mini Check Pique Think Fast Hoodie. I'm going to wait to get that one.


Runderful Half Zip Really liking both of these, 98% for the colors alone, but I'll wait to try them on in the store.



Snowballer Jacket  - I have read comments that the sherpa fleece lining is not very thick in this so I'll wait to see it in a store.

I'm confused with Lululemon this season .. I see nothing new on the US side and of the CA side I'm somewhat interested in the snowballer jacket but at 148 it doesn't come close to the pique/polartec one I got last year from them that also has a double zip and hood (can't remember the name )
What is going on ? Last year it was the port issue but at least they had better items !

If the US load is anything like the Canadian one, then I'm already disappointed. There were so many things available in the UK and Asia that I was hoping would come our way...

@lulu - my personal theory is this is why Posely got the boot, in spite of having some decent product offerings since she took over. Product distribution has been so random since the port issues were supposedly cleaned up.

Lol what is up with their response to you asking of the US is having an upload. Instead of acting coy maybe they should, I dunno, answer the question? It's a pretty easy yes or no.

That is their standard boilerplate answer. Maybe they'll figure it out when they don't see the normal bump in on line sales this evening.

My guess is that they wouldn't have had a "What We Love" if they weren't intending to upload something. Their answer might mean that their tech support is asleep at the switch and they have no idea if they're going going to wake up.

A total guess, though.

I think this is a trend pervasive in all clothing...I just read about the problems/issues that J.Crew is having in a business article and the comments echo what we say here....the quality from 10 years ago was so much better for the price point. Things bought today don't last, and the prices have gone up, and the quality has gone down, and there are zero cute, classic styles. I don't know why, or what the answer is. Maybe it's all the "fast fashion" stores that LLL has to compete with (every one raves about Old Navy yoga pants...never tried them..but for $20????). I am clinging to my old LLL and just returned to orders from last week with the odd shape of the Down for the Run Vest and the other things I ordered I returned out of spite.

Wow, why bother asking if there will be any new product uploads. I think something weird is going on with the US website, last week they skipped over and it looks like this week they are doing it again. The folks at corporate are total idiots, they should be trying to unload everything before December 25th. If I were an investor, I'd dump the stock fast.

I wonder if the US didn't get an upload because nothing is selling, so they skip the Tues upload and hope people looking for new items will settle on the stuff that's already there. I feel like this whole season has been really odd.

That response to your upload question is so f'ing lame! I seriously can't stand all the stupid people that work for this company! I hope the rumors are true and Under Armour is purchasing them so I can just be done with the company once and for all! I don't like UA and LLL isn't much better lately.

Shitty upload today, not to mention the delay for the US site. They put up the black Friday stuff as new again.. No respect for us hardcore fans.. Like we can't tell the difference. What are they waiting for exactly? It's another 2 weeks until Christmas? Considering shipping I might not be able to wait until the next upload if I wanted to order a gift for someone. Bad business decisions all around this year!

@LuluAddict.. The answer to your tweet made me laugh really hard. Telling you to sign up for notifications, that's very ironic!


Can got a couple new clearance items so I bought a new pair of Bordeaux drama cotton WU. Nothing else for me today!

...on another note, what the heck happened to the free two-day delvery of holidays past? My order from 12/1 shipped on the 3rd and has been stuck in ID since Thurs. with no update. Was supposed to arrive today in NJ but didn't now says "no delivery date scheduled" grrrrrrrr!

I know, the response made me laugh!! "WE never know when new things will pop up!" Shouldn't it say, "You never know"? The way it's worded it's like they don't know what's going on at their own company.

@5:00 -- Haha! I was going to say that I'm going fo Sweaty Betty or Carbon. Once when I asked about this sort of fhing, and educator told me in an obnoxiously cutesy voice that 'they like to keep everyone on their toes.' Whatever. I love my LL, but I've been branching out, and there's a lot more 'tree' of late. I've been loving Alala and Sweaty Betty, and I'm liking having pieces that I don't see walking down the street every day. I'd say that LL should get back on its toes before its loyal base starts defecting to the competition. And once I go, I ain't comin' back!

Earlier today I stopped in to my local Lulu (US) to see the new stuff... And there was basically nothing. It looked like the last time I was in there (on Friday), with the exception of runderful tops and white-cuffed and striped think fast hoodies. Both instances I spent 10 minutes looking around before leaving without buying anything.

So yes, I guess I'd say the US upload (or lack thereof) is reflective of their store inventory. So bizarre. There are literally 5 things I see on the Canada side that I would buy! But no. US gets the shaft once again. I know, in general, it seems North America is getting the short end of the stick, but seriously, I'm starting to think Lulu is purposefully alienating their US market for some reason.

Not to mention, it's almost mid-december and there are no holiday shopping bags out??? I've put in at least two orders since Black Friday, and it's always the red bags. I went into a store the other day and mentioned it (they had only red bags too) and the guy at the register said that online orders won't even get holiday shoppers at all! WTF???

I chatted with GEC today about the US upload and the educator did not know what was an upload. Furthermore, she did not know we get product drops every Tuesday and Thursday. When I copied the link to her from Katelin's What We Love, she acted surprised and told me product drops occur at the beginning of the week, but not on a specific day. After I copied the link she told me "she learns something new everyday." Like WTF!?!? Then she said it might occur on Thursday, but once again I told her Katelin said every TUESDAY and Thursday. Then she said, well we are on PST, so it is 7:30 here. She gave me the complete run around. I used to be an educator and this is a disgrace to the company. A complete shame! I honestly would rather them say, oh no there is a glitch in the system or no upload tonight...but no that would admit wrong on their part.

Online sales account for 1/5 of their business, yet they "never know when we'll see new gear uploaded." You know who does know when their new gear is uploaded, Lululemon? All of your competitors. Furthermore, I get emails - this is shocking, I know - actually at the time new arrivals are uploaded to the site and - another shocker - all sizes are offered and are always in stock by the time I get the email.

Is it possible that all 3 bottom styles in the pigment wind berry rumble multi are sold out? The Speed Tight, Pace Rival Tight and Wunder Under Pant. Did they really all sell out or is the website messed up?

They are having problems with the US website, when I play around with the app I am able to see pictures of the base runners in stripes, a new berry rumble striped long swifty, a black/grey daily practice jacket, snowballed jacket, and the pink shine on define jacket. So sad they don't have their act together with something so simple.

There are holiday shoppers, the Hansen ones. My store (Tukwila, WA) had them starting about 10 days or so ago. Not sure about online orders though.

Update, the US upload is up on the what's new page but you get an "ugh we're sorry for almost everything" and the new colors don't show up when you click on them.

At 2:30am EST the LLL site is still a fiasco (USA). Think it's time to jump ship cuz I'm tired of dealing with idiotic antics. What company doesn't have their sh*t together for the holiday rush, IN DECEMBER?!? However, I might just have to return a recent purchase - out of spite ;)
Wait, maybe LLL got hacked!?!

I have been waiting for the Rest Less hoodies for a looong time (I've been pining for them ever since I noticed them on the Austrailia site, and I've been hoping they'd hit the US.). I kept getting the Ugh Girl so I was annoyed they'd sold out so fast, but the order finally went through so I'm happy! I also wanted the tonka base runners but my size is sold out. I have a safety up-size coming, but I'm going to call around and hopefully I can find them in a store. Overall, nothing too exciting...

@shannon... order finally went through? dont hold your breath. my cyber monday order went through, my visa got charged and i got a cancellation email all within 1 week. I had to spend 2 days going back and forth with an idiot GEC (sorry to be brass but it's the truth) before they would refund me the charge for something that DIDNT EVEN LEAVE THEIR HANDS! dont get your hopes up.

Nothing from the upload for me, but I ordered Pace tight in flashback static /rasberry glo on Monday . No dresses AGAIN :( Has anybody seen LS dress at their store yet? If it doesn't get uploaded on Thursday I'll have to look elsewhere

I only ordered my Sz 4 from the restock of solid Black Toasty Tech Tight II, which had sold out after they were first uploaded this season.
Nothing else, but I'm going to check out the new Rest Less & Think Fast Hoodies in my store.
I'll probably order one of the Face the Frost tops, too, though I wish they were true "half zips" and not just quarter zips.

I have been shopping at Sweaty Betty, Noli and Teeki. I still think that lulu has the best bras for busty women, but I have enough.

I work for the company as an educator - disclaimer - but assuming the Twitter acc't is run by someone specializing in social media, etc., they very well may not know when things are being uploaded! as educators at least, we have very little idea of what we are getting in shipment, what goes on WMTM, etc...just a heads up! :)

@ Anon 1:07 not that I know of! We sometimes know if we're getting something really special in (like the reflective running line for Black Friday) but when we get new stuff in it is 100% as much of a surprise to us as to you!
