Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you had a nice holiday with your families.
In addition to the new items there was a very large upload to the WMTM section. The markdowns were not as deep as I had hoped. On the one hand, I was glad to see items I've bought the past few weeks and worn already not go to mark down, but on the other I was hoping to score some nice deals. I plan to hit my local stores tomorrow to see if there are better deals than online.

Sorry to bitch, but US got much better items for sale - stress less pullover in black, sweater pants, and festival bag in pigment dragonfly that Canada never got even for a full price, but it is on sale and for $10 less than sale for a festival bag in Canada.....
Overall feels that this sale is much less impressive than previous years and of course not compared to Europe and Australia ....
However, I still managed to get a FTBW bra in fatigue orange straps, pigment multi tote, parallel stripe CRB....
Well, at least kit and ace had better sales:)
I'm contemplating the green vest and maybe a runderful 1/2 zip. I'm waffling though. I'm thinking that means I shouldn't get them. Not sure what I'll do. There are some good things on markdown, but nothing I really want that much. I'm either coming down with something or my collection is complete, lol!
I hate to say it but I struggled to find something to order WMTM - items I truly need and want rather than to just buy an item because it is on MD. I am become selective even on MD since the quality and sizing has been inconsistent of late. I used to have FOMO but now I have meh. It makes my wallet happy :) Hope all had a Merry Christmas!
I was pretty happy with the WMTM selection on the US site. Snagged a Wild Tank in heathered bon bon, a Warrior Scarf in bon bon / bordeaux drama, and a gingham CRB for my cousin who looks cute in checked prints. Still thinking about a Festival Bag but I don't want to end up with a print placement I don't like.
Totally agree!!! FOMO is quickly vanishing these days!!! Maybe a detox for 2016
Contemplating the runderfuls and DFAR items on wmtm. I still have tags on the jacket and pullover bought at full price so at the very least I'll exchange.
I was disappointed in WMTM too. Nothing that I want went on sale, and the sale prices weren't that great anyway.
I like the Blooming Pixie print.

I was really impressed with the UK WMTM section. Bought quite a few things for very decent discounts - often half off.
I was more impressed by the Ivivva markdowns (and styles this season) and ended up only buying my girls some stuff. I've been happy with older Lulu items, which seem to be better quality and cuter IMO.
So disappointed in lulu this winter season it's been sooo lame. The sale in Canada sucks... It really annoys me how good the other countries got it like the UK got awesome stuff !!! Sorry to be a drag. Not impressed Lululemon. New Years resolution ... Give up the ghost haha
Scored a Rest Less Pullover, Turn Around Tights, Happy Strappy tanks, a Mind and Body Kit and the Speed Tight IV. I wanted something in the mini coast camo but it wasn't meant to be. Overall very happy with the upload!
Absolutely loving the blooming digi pixie print. So so pretty. I would've loved to see a pair of speeds in this print, but may get the run times instead, and maybe the matching flow y when it comes to the US. There are only a few prints that i love (wamo camo was one), and this is definitely hitting the mark.
Nothing too tempting on WMTM, and I have the say, those VLF and naval blue inspire tights are awful. That color combo of the light and dark NEED line alignment. It looks awful all random like that. Those will be on WMTM quickly i think.
I didn't love anything from the upload. Was hoping for &go LS dress in solid color, that UK has on md ALREADY, but we never got at full price. Nothing looks exciting for me on wmtm either. Will go to my store later to check out their md

I was so surprised when I got to the store, there were no lineups outside! they have always been lineups in the past years here in Vancouver. even the store inside was not that busy. I didn't have to wait to pay for my purchase....
Only one winter item in my cart went to WMTM. I wanted brushed speed tights, lined DSP's and the Runderful 1/2 zip. Just the half zip went to MD and although not a deep discount I really liked the Runderful 1/2 when I tried it on in the store so was ready to buy it regardless. It's been chilly here lately and I want cuffins and a top that blocks wind sufficiently well and rulu is good at that.
Every other country got the brushed tights, toasty tech and runderful on MD except for the U.S. :( so that kind of sucks. None of the previous WMTM went on further discount which is screwy.
Lulu has gotten slammed for having too much inventory on Wall Street but they are really doing nothing to show they want to liquidate it by barely discounting stuff. Maybe they are holding out for the Warehouse Sales (which, since not online, only benefits a few who live near the physical warehouse sale sites).
I almost miss the scarcity model of the past - seems like when they did that the design team actually created fun designs and nice colorway combo's. Now it's more Nike/Reebok looking mass produced looking stuff.
I got the red rulu 1/2 zip and free flow crop. I agree that the markdown is not that much. I saw bunch of items I got in the past are marked down, but not available anymore in my sizes 8 or 10. I got the what the sport tee in the US! It was at the fashion island lulu.
But I am so bummed we didn't get the new festival bag :( I hope it comes next week.
Also got the pace Queens and I have to say I love them. Speed tights were my fav but these are my new fav. Sooo flattering. And the material feels like it's higher quality than my recent speed tights.
Prices weren't great, where are all of the sweaters? It doesn't seem like any of the winter stuff has been selling super well
The new Strap It Like It's Hot bra seems to be a decent effort to satisfy more well endowed women who want to wear the FTBW bra but cannot.
I'm not interested in any of this new stuff.
As for wmtm Boxing Day: prices are still too high and not a draw. I would consider one of the l/s swiftlies but at $59 (down from $68) it's hardly a deal. I haven't been in stores for Boxing Day but I bet the deals are better. I ordered only a FTB bra for $29 and that was enough for me. Still on the side of practical, which has been my mode in recent months. Not obsessed, no FOMO. That ended a couple years ago for me.
I ordered brushed speeds tights and will return the pair I bought this week. I went to the store, tried on a bunch of things (kanto pullover is so soft but I don't like the seaming), walked to kit and ace and bought two turtlenecks at 50% off.
Even the prices in store weren't tempting, I was bummed! The outlet had all bras for $19 so I got a Tata Tamer III which was a good deal but overall it was very underwhelming. The 5 mile LS did not feel nice at all, I did not like the fabric. It was a super cute tts and if the US had gotten peacock I probably would have bought it despite the fabric but I guess I'll just wait to see if we ever get it.
Have the cashmere sweater arrived Canada yet?
I just ordered my first pair of speed shorts, and they have wrinkles on them. Any tips for getting out the wrinkles? I have tried washing them, and they are currently drying, but still look wrinkly.

I'm curious about the sweaters too. I've had a merino wool one in my cart for a week or more, and it doesn't say 'out of stock.' I was waiting for WMTM to see whether it would go on markdown now, but this didn't happen.
I passed on this year's WMTM (US). I agree that it had a lot of nice basics, but nothing caught my eye and the discounts didn't seem deep enough on the items that I liked.
