I thought I'd put up a few photos of the new Strap It Like It's Hot Bra (SILIH) comparing it to some of the more supportive shelf bras, like the Run for Days Bra (top left in Regal Plum), Energy Bra (top right in Jeweled Magenta), Bound Bra (bottom left), and the All Sport Bra (bottom right).

Strap It Like It's Hot vs. Energy Bra |

SILIH has a lot more coverage in the front. |
 |
I feel a lot more supported in the back, too. |
 |
The width of the bottom band is about the same as an Energy, though I think the SILIH uses thicker elastic.

The Strap It Like It's Hot comes up quite a bit higher than an Energy Bra. It shows when I wear it with a CRB, both in the front and back. The back is a lot higher and shows quite a bit under the CRB. However, I really like it. I took the tags off it yesterday and wore it all day. It's wear-all-day comfortable, something I can't say about the Bound and Run for Days whose straps tend to dig into my back. If you're on the bustier side and looking for an alternative to the Energy and All Sport, definitely check out the Strap It Like It's Hot.

Strap It Like It's Hot vs. Run for Days bra - definitely a lot more coverage on the SILIH. |

The bra band is snugger on the Run for Days. |

Strap It Like It's Hot vs. Run for Days |
The bra the Strap It Like It's Hot most reminds me of the Run for Days bra from last summer. This is one of the few shelf bras that I find supportive enough for me (36DD) to run in. The Run for Days shows a lot more cleavage than the Strap It Like It's Hot but I still think it's the most supportive shelf bra I own.

Strap It Like It's Hot vs Bound Bra. The Bound Bra is a size smaller than the Strap It Like It's Hot. |

Strap It Like It's Hot vs. All Sport Bra |
The level of support between the All Sport and Strap It Like It's Hot is very similar. I'd probably give the nod to the Strap It Like It's Hot, though, since it seems to hug and hoist me up more. It's definitely a more visually interesting bra, particularly from the back.
Anyone try the Strap It Like It's Hot yet? It's already sold out in a couple of sizes. After wearing it all day yesterday for errands I went back and ordered the blue print one since the black is sold out in my size already. I am hoping it's coming in more colors because I am really liking it.

Great post! Thanks for this comparison.
I tried the Strap it like its hot on today. While I found the support to be good for a lulu bra and I could probably wear it running (I'm a 36C) I found that the sides were pretty far up in my arm pit area and I think that would be uncomfortable after awhile. Looking at one of the photos you've posted, I'm noticing it there too.
I think I'll stick with my energy bras for low impact and my Champion show off bras for running.
I like the support and coverage, but wish that the fabric was softer and the front didn't have the seams across the cup.
Thanks for the comparison, especially to the Run for Days. I also saw the similarities with SILIH & Run for Days and wondered how they compared. I wore my Run for Days for 8 days on a hike this summer and fell in love with it; I rarely actually run in it. I swear by the anti-stink fabric though! I'd love to see the SILIH in silverescent but I might have to try one anyways. Thanks!
I bought it in mini blooming after your post saying how much you liked it and bought another in black today when I was in store since it's sold out in 12 online. I love that the sides come up higher. I'm excited to try them for a run.
Very excited to get one now. I like that it's higher because it may cover more of my back boobs. My go-tos right now are the Energy and All Sport. Thanks for a great review!
not a bad looking bra. coverage is important for me.
