Are those gloves herringbone?!
Does the vest actually have down in it? The jacket and pullover are labeled with 800 fill but the vest description doesn't actually say anything...
I ended up ordering the black grape pullover tonight, and then I came and saw these photos. Now I'm glad I did. That color is gorgeous (to me). Only thing I'm uncertain about is that back slit, so I'll have to see how it fits.
I just came back from the store...bought the down for a run jacket in white and the pullover in black grape. These photos of the pullover are really pretty. I'm glad I got it too. I love both pieces. I'm a sucker for white jackets...love the hood on the jacket this year. Great fit imho.
Sophie@7:38PM, I have the pullover from 3 years ago? in clarity yellow. Back slit is the same. It looks funny in the photo, but looks just fine when on, at least to me it does.
@Anon 7:11pm I tweeted Lulu and they just replied that it does have down in it. I don't know why the description doesn't say that. I suppose I could *assume* it was down-filled by the name, but the description of it as a lightweight/transitional piece differed so much from the description of the other pieces in this line that it had me doubting.
@Anon 9:28pm Thanks! I figure as long as the jacket is roomy enough, it should lay ok (hopefully). I ordered my TTS, so we'll see.
Pictures are so helpful but are making it harder to choose which color I want in the pullover haha. I love black, but the dark grape is really pretty.. but so is the forage teal. Lulu problems!
For those who bought the pullover, does it still give some room to wear a thin 1/2 zip under and give you enough room to move around for a run when you bought your normal size?
Is the pullover TTS or a size up?
I tried the pullover and the jacket on at the store today. I was underwhelmed by the pullover. I have one from 2 years ago that I love but these just aren't as nice in my opinion. But yes, it is a TTS item with room for a light layer underneath. I really liked how the jacket fit but I can't decide whether or not to pull the trigger on a $200 jacket that probably won't be warm enough as an everyday jacket since it has the panels on the sides. But it is a very flattering fit!
I bought the down shorts last year only to find out after I got and worn them they were not down....it was some type of fill. the previous years were actually down. If i remember right the web description was wrong and they later corrected it to say it was fill. Glad you asked about the coat. Had I not already worn the shorts and felt like they kept me warm, I'd have been really miffed and returned them.
probably not helpful since I've not tried on these pullovers yet but I always size up in them to allow for a layer or two. has always worked out well for me. I wear a 6 crb/tees, 4 in the 105f, 6 or 8 in swiftlies, 4 in most bras (36A), 8 in forme, scuba and other jackets, size 6 pants/shorts 99.9% of the time. granted, I have a somewhat big butt (that tends to be the area where tops/jackets are tight on me but I do have a mildly broad back/shoulders; usually could wear a 6 in most jackets except for it pulling across my bum).
I'm 64in/165cm, 132#/60kg.
looks like the people who wear their tts need to actually size up so it doesn't pull across their bum and spread out that slit in the back. in this particular pullover anyway
oh, my "size up" would be an 8
@heather that's such a good point about the back part, I was going to stick to my TTS because according to everyone I will have enough room to fit a thin 1/2 zip under and move around when running, but I didn't think of the slit part, on some models now that I take a closer look, looks like they are wearing their TTS and the slit looks like its tugging pretty tightly.
I bought my TTS 6 in black swan. I tried it with a thin long sleeve underneath and it was still fine. I tried an 8, but felt air would "Woosh up" with the extra space. I'm 34"bust, 26" waist and 40" hips. No issues with the butt flap.
Are the lengths of the jacket and pullover similar? The pullover seems like it covers the butt, while the jacket (& vest) maybe not... Also, how many zipped pockets does the pullover have for phone, keys, etc while jogging? Thanks
Is the pullover quite a bit longer than the jacket/vest? It seems to cover the butt in the photos but the jacket seems hip-length. Also, how many zipped pockets does the pullover have that might be suitable for phone / keys / etc?
Hello LL lovers! Does LLL ever restock sizes? I went to buy the DFR pullover in black grape 8 but they were out. Should I try stores in my area? Or does the sold out reflect the distribution centre and stores? Disappointed that they sold out :-(
