What a bunch of crap! I want the good old days of lulu back again :(
Love your blog LLA
Love the heathered jungle swifty!! Such an awesome color
Any idea what the difference is between dragonfly and pistachio?
@ Unknown - I don't know, they look pretty close going from memory. If it's uploaded tomorrow I'll do a comparison of the two.
I don't care for the gigantic arm holes on pretty much all of Lululemon looser fitting tank tops. Give us a tank with normal sized arm holes for once..
Would like the dragonfly CRB and the heathered jungle swiftly in a l/s or a s/s.
Bra top is cute, ick to the just chilling shorts, very juvenile.
I agree with Ms. Anonymous of the first comment, I too, want the awesome Lulu of the old days. I recently went through LLA's older posts (to a point of 2014) and I was like, heyyy mannn, none of what is offered these days can compare with the fabulous designs/patterns/functionality of then. GOOD news, money saved. BAD news (for Lulu), your fans are... not going to spend their hard earned coins on... stuff we can get at H&M.
Sigh... duck sauce splotches on shorts. Really? Who is going to buy pants that look like they just had a period accident? The CRB is the only bright spot for this upload.
The ugly clothes parade continues. I think Lulu really is headed into a dangerous zone. They're getting closer to the point where ugly clothes don't just hurt quarterly sales figures, but they start to degrade the value of the brand itself. Seriously, do you want to be seen wearing a logo that gets put on these clothes? It makes me sad and it makes me wonder what happened to the design team that built the company. Were they fired? Did they get lured to other companies? I see that currently all of the Lulu executives are male and a bunch came from places like Nike, where the temporary bottom line is worth more than brand longevity and design. Makes me sad.
Thanks!
I too am not a fan of the larger armholes. This past year, not only did they make the armholes longer but wider as well and that kept me from buying most of their tanks. I understand how some people would like the open airiness of this style but I wish there were more choices for tanks with regular size armholes. I do most of my working out outdoors and prefer not to have my sports bra exposed that much. I really liked the Sculpt Tank but because of the large armholes I didn't buy it and I see that the new Vent It Tank has long armholes too so I won't be buying this one either. It is quite frustrating because I really like everything else about it.
That being said, I really like the Vent It l/s and s/s tops especially the s/s one. I am starting to look more closely at SPF clothing as I feel the need to protect myself more from the sun. I really hope Canada gets these next summer.
Heathered jungle looks so nice!
Love the sapphire swiftly! Any ideas when these will hit stores?
@ anon 7:54 am - I am hoping we see them today.
I totally agree with you aboit the sculpt tank -- they ruined an otherwise great design with those mammoth arm holes. I bought one in black so I could wear it with a black sports bra and not have the sides of the bra be that noticeable. If it hadn't had the giant armholes I would have bought at least 3 of them!
