Bon Bon/Bordeaux Stripe Rulu CRB (US). I ordered this to try. I like my rulu First Base tanks a lot and would rather have those but I'll give this one a try.
Canada got the solid Menthol rulu Kanto Catch Me LS. I'd like to order this if we get it.
Heathered Bordeaux Kanto Catch Me Half Zip. I'll be skipping this one. This isn't true flannel-feeling rulu. Hey lulu, dig up a Heathered Wish Blue Dash LS to see what real rulu should feel like - soft and thick. This junk ain't it.
Fuel Green Define.
Drop It Like It's Hot Tank. We only got this to the ten but the UK got it in a 12 this morning. Canada didn't even get it in a two, just four to ten. Thanks a lot, North American Buyer. You suck. No, you really do. I'd love to hear the justification for the UK getting a full size run in this tank but Canada and the US, the largest lululemon markets in the world, get limited size runs. I supposed we should be grateful we actually got this the same week as the foreign markets, for a change.
Clouded Dreams Vent It Out Singlet
Coast Camo All Sport Support Tank
Bordeaux Painted Animal Power Y
Clouded Dreams Go the Distance Jacket (US)
Drop It Like It's Hot Bra
Forage Teal What the Sport Tank
Washi Weave Scuba II (CAN)
The US got the Find Your Mantra Hoodie and Karma Kurmasana sweater this week.
Drop It Like It's Hot Tights
Kris Cros Crop (US)
For some reason Wrap It Up Bras showed up on the US side. I thought these went straight to the US WMTM but they're back, in summer colors and prints, at full print. Nice try, lulu.
Overall, a very lame upload, only the CRB for me today. Did you get anything?

I was hoping for that Space Dye Camo Forage Teal Black Define, but noooooooo. My wallet is safe another week.
LLA, can you speak to the rulu on the Kanto 1/2 zip in wee stripe teal / fuel?
Was there ever actually a wrap it up bra released over the summer? I assumed these were repurposed wrap it up tanks with the mesh body part cut off.
I would like to try the rulu CRB too. Is it a size up item?
Do you suggest ordering your normal CRB size in the Rulu CRB or do you think is it a size up item? Thx!
Not to correct you, lovely LLA , but I believe the US also got the green define jacket. And is the space dye jacquard define jacket new? I only recognize that print from pants.
I swear I already have the ultra violet long sleeve swiftly, stripes and all from last winter. Is this another version??
my note on hey lulu a few minutes ago sums up how I feel about this week's upload...
Hi There.
I'll preface this by saying I am/have been a long time LuLu addict. However, I am growing a bit weary of Lulu and want to voice some of my concerns regarding this week's What's New section of the website.
1. 64 "New" items in women's this week is a serious issue. Way too many items to hold interest. Way over assorted. Why are there 64 items?
2. Because many items are repeats from last week. Why do we need to see these again? Last week's items simply detract from the impact of this week's items. I assume the inventory suggests more exposure. But that is not the purpose of the What's New section to my knowledge.
3. Because a number of old items are popping up under What's New lately. This week, it's the L/S Swiftly Crew in Heathered Ultra Violet rugby stripe. Clearly it was overbought last year and due to margin pressure, not liquidated in the current season. Bad move. Take the loss. Move on. If you can't do that, please do NOT put it in the What's New section...because it's not new.
Lulu is not creating excitement for its customers by doing the above. Lulu is losing credibility and possibly customers. This week's What's New fell flat imho for the above reasons. Would love to hear how others feel.
Sorry if this feels harsh.
So I just recently purchased a pair of tights(not lulu) from marshals in the same exact EXACT print as the Bordeaux painted animal print. Went to the store today to verify the print. Same color/print/feel everything. And for $22.00 US. .......hmmmm....and nothing for me today, again
LLA you took the words right out of my mouth regarding the idiot North American buyer.
Is it just me or is the website down again?
Yep, wanted the dark green define in the US too. First thing I've wanted in months. Ugh.
I can't even see it, app doesn't work as well as the web site
Can't get the website to load on computer, phone, or app. Really easy not to buy anything. How many weeks of upload website troubles is this? Apparently, it's the new normal.
Karma Kurmasana and diamond jacquard space dye black slate WUP. Somehow turned into an expensive day for me.
Bon Bon/Bordeaux CRB and black base runner. I love my rulu CRB in regal plum and I am excited to get another one.
LLL sucks so bad... so disappointing that they never have any new "pretty" items.
No upload on mobile app. Good thing I'm not missing much
The decisions they're making regarding size runs are asinine. And the other thing that really got my goat tonight was how many non-new items were included in the "new" upload, whether they were left-overs from last week, or they were old WMTM items recycled as new. Does anyone at Lulu HQ discuss what the customer response might be to these decisions? Sometimes it feels to me like it doesn't even occur to them - like they're all just patting themselves on the back, oblivious to what's really going on.
I did order the Drop It Like It's Hot tank in menthol to try. Also despite reservations about how the fabric will feel, I ordered the Kanto half zip in forage teal/dark fuel. I got the the herringbone/white slate and I thought it felt quite nice - thick and soft. If the green doesn't measure up, it'll go back. I'm just loving these deep greens right now.
Once again with the website down! 😡
It's pretty lame that the "what's new" section consists of stuff that uploaded last week. I like how they restocked the herringbone Define and called it "new." You're not fooling anyone, lululemon!
I didn't order anything and am happy to wave goodbye to the fall product line. Hopefully the winter offerings will be more exciting.
@Stephanie - the purple and sapphire striped rulu felt soft and thick so I'd think the green was fine. It's just the new heathered colors that have too much polyester and feel rough.
Nothing for me either and I don't even feel like going top my local Lulu to even try anything..very ho-hum this season and yes many repeat items on the What's new section ..I guess they are trying to drum up excitement. it is a shame at what has been happening at Lulu, maybe the recent shake-up with the design team will produce better results down the road..But it may be too late for some of us..Losing interest and I never thought I'd say that !!!
I also think that it has been a huge mistake that each store lost autonomy with the Facebook re-organiaztion and the lack of product pics from stores..really bad move Lululemon!
Total disappointment this week with the multiple repeats of items that have been on the site for over a month now, how are these "new" items? They're really really going downhill fast!
Why do they have to keep adding zippers to the sweaters! Give it a rest! Why can't we just have a nice wool sweater without zippers on either side
Space dye jacquard define came out last year. I got one then. I assume they brought out left overs from last year or had an excess of the fabric and made another batch for this year!
There are some great colours coming out but the designs are so uninspired. Or just don't make it to the North American uploads. It's killing my enthusiasm to purchase anything.
@ anon 8:06 pm - I agree.
Agree with everyone about having old "new" items. We pay attention and know what is really new.
I wonder if the old items in the new section was intentional. The website had problems and in the effort to get it back up, it seems quite plausible that the web team reverted to a saved version and then had trouble determining which items were truly new. if a database went down, I can see how the restore could cause problems. Of course, I'm speculating, but there are so many website screw ups that I tend to think any oddities concerning the website are the result of low standards in the IS department, rather than intentional moves by the company.
And I didn't buy anything. I've gone from spending a few hundred dollars a week to spending a few hundred dollars a season. When there is a design I like the look of, they kill it with bad patterns, too much #$@$ heathering, or ugly colors. I have plenty of stuff, so it's actually quite a good thing I'm spending less, but my Lulu habit was a nice indulgence that I miss. Sounds selfish and whiny, doesn't it? Self knowledge is bittersweet...
RULU CRB- stick with regular size or go up?
If anyone is thinking about getting a wrap it up bra for $52+tax, why not buy a wrap it up tank on sale $29+tax? They are offered in exactly same colour selections. You just need to cut the mesh part off, and if you have a young daughter, she may like to take it for making dress for her Barbie doll, lol.
I have adopted more of a watch-and-wait with my buying. I would love one of the Karma sweaters; I tried one on yesterday and they are really nice and heavy and thick. It's normally something I would have snapped up right away, but I'm doubting they'll sell out (they had a ridiculous amount of them in the store), and I suspect they'll be on WMTM before Christmas. I did buy the Find Your Mantra pants, which I'm thinking about returning because I think they'll be a WMTM casualty as well. I really like them, but $118 is a lot for what is basically long-underwear sweater pants. It seems to me that some of the frantic selling-out of certain items has waned, and I've been able to curb my 'buy now, think later' habit because the things I used to be worried about selling out are still there days later. LL obviously has a loyal base, but I think they'll be in trouble if they can't cultivate new rabid fans. I'm in a spot where I have so much stuff that really don't need anything new (and I bet a lot of people here can say that). LL needs to make me want to buy, and I'm slightly turned off as of late. I think some of the fun of LL is getting pieces that not everyone will have, and that I had to watch for to get. If I feel like everyone is walking down the street in the same outfit I'm wearing -- and they got it for less -- I can easily take my dollars somewhere else.
On the Double pullover: I just got it in the mail, in the pink colour. I'm disappointed. The colour looked brighter in the pics. It is sort of a muddy pink that really doesn't go with my pasty white skin and blonde hair. it is also short. I'm 5.5 and this thing doesn't ever cover the crotch. The length in the back is perfect - why did they have to shorten the front?
2:11 if that is the way the website is managed, it sound like lulu has a bunch of incompetent web programers and designers. yikes!
M
I have the rulu CRB in regal plum in my usual size 4. It fits very similarly. I just bought the rulu CRB in bon bon and expect the fit to be the same.
thank you 4:38! i bought my usual crb size.
Agree! I'm between 5.3 & 5,4 and it's too short for me as well. Overall pretty plain looking top
Hi, all! I recently purchased the Vent It Out Singlet, despite I usually wear a Size 2 for all tanks, and sports bras, this... unless you have washboard flat abs, is a size-up item. It is very fitted indeed in comparison to how it looks on the model. Plus, to wear a sports bra underneath (say a Lighten Up Bra), it is confirmed a size-up item, unless, again, for those with super flat abs. Very pretty back details.
@ anon 10:43 am - good to know!
@ anon 10:12 am - It looked short on the models.
I feel the exact same way... As another wrote lulu fabrics showing up in other places. Like Aritzia had herringbone wunder under like pants in August for $10 less and they sold out immediately. I didn't buy as I had others from last year. I also saw the jacquard pattern in tights at garage - for about half price, same fabric. Let's keep our eyes open ladies !!
