Upload!

It's up.

The french terry Wrap It Up Jacket is pretty cute. Too bad it has drop shoulders. It's tempting but I'll wait to try it at a store.

Herringbone Kanto Catch Me Half Zip. This top doesn't have cuffins so I'll wait to try it in the store. We didn't get the green or bordeaux versions anyway.

We got the Wine Berry and Dark Fuel Kanto Catch Me LS. I wish these were solid.

Sapphire Space Dye Twist Inspire Crops

Giant Herringbone Pace Rival Crops. I already have GH Inspires but I ordered these. If these look ok, - I think the stitching is darker than last year's GH bottoms - I'll dump those and keep these since I really love having thigh pockets.

Dark Fuel Rebel Runner Crops

Painted Animal Menthol Wunder Under Crops

Cotton Rain Touch Gator Wunder Under Crops

Tech Fleece Toasty Tech Tights in Bordeaux.

Dark Fuel Tight Stuff Tights

Bordeaux Can't Stop Pant in brushed luxtreme.

Bordeaux Base Runner Pants

Bordeaux and Forage Teal Pace Rival Skirts

Menthol Tough It Out Tank. I have no interest in this tank.

Forage Teal Swiftly Tank. I would have loved a solid or space dye version of this.

The Sweat Bound Tank finally made it here. Shown in Cosmic Teal.

Coco Pique Daily Practice Jacket

Deep Camo Scuba III

5" inseam Kanto Catch Me short

Fleecy Keen jacket.

Bon Bon Mountain Peaks Tracker short.

Dark Fuel Swiftly LS. I ordered this. I used to have an Alberta Lake LS Swiftly years ago and foolishly sold it. This is to replace that so I'm hoping it's nicely green.

Cute Run and Done Toques

Race to Place Cap

Forage Teal Run and Done Ear Warmer

lululemon scrunchie
Forgot the best thing to show up today - the Throwback Scrunchie ($12).

Did you get anything today?

PS - A reader alerts me (thanks!) that I missed this:

Desert Teal Swiftly Tank (US). I ordered one.

I was really hoping for that fuel green Kanto half-zip, wallet is safe. Check out the shirt on the Run and Done Ear Warmer, I'm liking it, hope we get it in the US.

I think the wrap is cute too but I'm a total
Sucker for winter lulu items

What is tech fleece like? Warmer than brushed luxtreme? True to size? Thinking about getting the toast tech tight ii for winter runs. Does lulu ever make solid rulu bottoms (or tops)? They have solid black rulu gloves, but everything else seems to be heathered.

I'm tempted by Wrap it Up, and maybe adding the Fuel Green Studios that went up last week. The price on the Fleecy Keens took my breath away. Why did I think they would be closer to $140? Oh well.

I was just coming to say the same thing about the hoodie in the Run and Done pic! So cute! I really hope the US gets it. I didn't get anything today, but I have a return to take to the store tomorrow and may try on the GHB Pace Rivals.

That sweat bound tank looks like a nursing top??

Yes, that shirt with the Run and Done Earwarmer…can't wait!!

@ anon 4:39 pm - that looks like a Rest Less with a hood.

@ anon 4:32 pm - yes, tech fleece is warmer than brushed luxtreme. It's the warmest run fabric. It really cuts the wind. I haven't tried on tech fleece bottom in years so someone else will have to comment in on the fit.

I was hoping for Bon Bon or Dark Fuel WU or HT. I also really liked Dark Fuel Define that got uploaded overseas. Still waiting for gray Fluffing Awesome vest that got uploaded in Canada 2 or 3 weeks ago. I still might bite the bullet and order Fleecy Keen even though I have one from last year

I just tried on the HB pace rivals and somehow they showed the cellulite under my bum. My inspires and speeds from last year but these did. I'm bummed because I love the pace rivals. I'll get the kanto PU when it comes here in the green. Even though I too wish it were solid it is gorgeous.

I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet but I'm considering a new fleecy keen but I think I'll try on at store.
I want the rebel runners in the pop stripe and I would
like both the pace rival in the giant herringbone and the inspires in the sapphire space dye twist

I may just wait to try all of it on in store.

They keep ruining the swiftly tanks (forage teal/Bon Bon) with the tacky awful prints. Why not solid or heathered or space dye? Grrr..

I thought of the Pace Rivals in the GH too but I don't like the big black section on the back of those so I think i'll keep my Inspires in that and pass on the Rivals.

Oh, the 80's called - it's wants it's scrunchie back.

Agreed, the first thing I saw that I wanted is the Rest Less like shirt pictured with the head band. LLA, I think quite a while back you may have shown it in an overseas upload. Also interested in the Dark Fuel Swiftly LS swiftly. Will hope to see it in store first.

I didn't buy anything and mostly my LLL purchasing has really waned. I'll be keeping my eye out for that Rest Less hoodie though.

@LLA The heathered desert teal swiftly tank without print was also uploaded. I am not sure what the color difference is between forage teal and desert teal but at least one is without the print!

Anon 4:32, LLL has made the Runder Under in rulu. I don't think they released any last year. I have a pair from a couple of years ago (maybe three?) They are also a double layer with heathered grey one side and all black the other. They are not for extremely cold temps but for certain winter runs I do rotate them in and they are very comfortable. I otherwise wear a winter running tight by MEC (Mountain Equipment Coop in Canada). I do not find LLL's "winter" run tights warm enough at all.

Really want the Toasty Tights, and (dare I say) I thought they'd cost more. I've seen Speed Tight *Tech up for $138 I believe in another country, so I thought the Toasty Tights would be closer to that price (no complaints!) I really love the Bordeaux, but that's definitely a try-on item. Would love a Fleecy Keen, but this college girl can't afford that on top of winter tights, a running vest, and a new LS (still figuring out budgeting for those three items!) I'm also still pining over the WU High Rise in Sapphire from a few weeks back. This was actually a great upload for me - a LOT of things I'd buy if I could.

What is that LS top in the Run and Done ear warmer pic? Loove that! Looks like a much thinner RestLess Pullover? I couldn't do the RL because it's just too warm for our So Cal climate. This new one looks like a great layering or wear alone option.

@anon 4:32, Tech fleece is waaay warmer than brushed luxtreme. I have the last version of the Toasty Tech Tights that came out in Fall of 2012 and they are absolutely wonderfully warm and compressive. I stayed tts. The rise is mid to high, I can't remember, but the tummy support is soo nice. I use them when temps drop to below 35 and I'm run training by the beach in the early morning or late evening in So Cal. I actually get warm in these once I get moving so I don't wear them as often but they come in so handy when I'm visiting family in Central or Northern Cali where the climate is much different than where I live. I got mine on mark down online and totally lucked out. I think they're totally worth the money. One of the warmest pairs of running tights lulu has ever made.

@ anon 5:26 pm - thanks!!! I totally missed it. I ordered it.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone noticed that lulu doesn't really show pictures of there symbol in photos anymore. Maybe it's just me... Seems important to display I feel !

Anonymous said...

between Toasty Tights and Speed Tights (tech fleece ones) which one would you choose? what's the difference?

Unknown said...

I bought the toast tights in-store today and I love them! However, I'm really liking the extra length of the Can't Stops so I might try those before I decide to de-tag. Any comparisons?? I also did the Base Runners, which I love, and I love the greens that have been coming out!

I grabbed a Wrap Up in bordeaux and a scrunchy to match. I'm totally tempted by the Toasty Tech Tights.

The sweat bound is adorable too, but I'm sticking with fall/winter stuff for a while.

I love the top as well, anyone know what it's called yet?

I am sad that the green rebel runners didn't come to Canada. I really hope they do eventually come here.

Can anyone comment on the Warrior Scarf *Merino? It's a lot of money for a scarf, but merino should feel great and I love the Bon Bon/Bordeaux combination. It says it has reflective details, but none of the crappy pictures shows anything like that. It has an elegant look, so I can't really see how having reflective patches would make sense. Thanks!

sapphire define jacket!!!

Fleecy Keen in Wine Berry, which I'm holding my breath on, because I don't really like Wine Berry - it's too washed out and pink. Hopefully, it'll be darker and more saturated like what most people call cranberry. (Not Lulu's Cranberry which is regular, bright red.) Also picked up a coco pique neck warmer. I missed out on that last year and was kicking myself.

What is that shirt/hoodie shown with the ear wrap??? I saw it online and couldn't seem to find it for sale. Possibly something new coming?

Tech fleece is a true winter running fabric in comparison to the brushed luxtreme, it is thicker and almost feels like insulation on the inside, but it is light. It is very warm, and retains body heat. I have used my tops and bottoms made of tech fleece for running in East coast winters, as well as for sailing in the cold months, Sweaty Betty has a similar type material at the moment, the tights are going for $165.

@June - It's something new and not out yet.

Chezhire71 said...

Tech tights in Black for me.
Had planned on the Define in Sapphire but I really dislike the back where LLL placed a black colored tab strip at the top of the seaming, just beneath the LLL logo. Why can't it just be SOLID Sapphire?!?!

Chezhire71 said...

Oh and also, there's no way I'm paying $98+tax for a Kanto L/S half zip w/o cuffing, so no

LuluAddict said...

@Chezhire71 - agree. I was looking at my lulu spreadsheet and the last plain rulu, not a herringbone or pique, half zip pullover I bought was the Energy PO from 2010. I haven't like any since then. I have to say, though, that my go-to pullovers have been the brushed luxtreme Race With Grace POs. I don't know why they didn't sell better but I love them to pieces.

Luluaddict - what did you think of the Dark Fuel swiftly LS? I just received mine in the mail and I have to say it doesn't read green enough for me, it just seems more on the grey side and rather blah at that. I think I'll be returning it. I also got the Pistachio LS swiftly and I like how that looks with the Fuel Green rebel runners I also received. I also got the Wineberry rebel runners but think I'll be returning them as I just can't find a lot of top colors that I have that look good with them.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 6:47pm - I didn't get mine yet. It was due to come today but I think the trucks got delayed by the big mudslide that affected the 5 freeway here. I am such a dope, though, after I ordered it I checked my lululemon spreadsheet and saw I already had a Fuel Space Dye LS so I've already decided to return it. I'll put up some comparison photos but I agree that the Dark Fuel does tend to read a bit on the gray side in the photos I've seen so far.
