Meshed Up Tank, All Meshed Up Tights, and More

Sapphire Go the Distance Jacket and Tight Stuff Tights. Lululemon definitely needs to put out more non-black solid-colored jackets and long sleeve run tops. I'd love to see this jacket paired with a print bottom, too.

The last picture looks awesome. Perfectly styled.

All passable for me. Though the sapphire run jacket is nice particularly because of the colour and it's not chopped up or anything. And bonbon colour is really nice in the energy bra.

Meshed up tank: cool to see the way it is made/separated, since on LLL's website they don't even show this in any images, only state it in the features. Lame! People are drawn to visuals even if they don't read the features etc. Yes I know, they suck on the website photography lately, in more ways than one.

Just went to my store, saw Meshed up stuff, didn't do anything to me. Left with 2 pairs of new SE WU that got uploaded overseas. Both are VERY soft and thick. Couldn't make my mind which ones I need more, Green or BQ . Seaming looks really nice

I have the Butterfly Texture Scuba II. It's a pretty one, doesn't look like much until tried on, but once on it looks so pretty and flattering. I love the copper coloured zipper and the neutral butterfly texture print. Looks really nice with Fatigue Green Studio Pants too!

Speaking of Scuba IIs, does anyone know if they are actually being phased out or is this just a rumour? I'm really hoping that this is just a rumour, I tried the new Scuba III and just don't like the way it looks on me compared with the II, the II is much more flattering on me. I've been going crazy now since hearing this and buying all the new ones that have caught my eye since! I know that's probably nuts, but I'm worried they won't be around much longer.

Just give me a beautiful solid colored Cool Racerback and a bright, happy Free to Be and stop with all this nonsense. Why can't they be happy with the basics? All this new stuff is garbage.

Lululover, are the SE WUP cotton?

Hi LLA, this is OT but I had a very unpleasant experience in my local store trying to return a pair of WU Cotton Roll Down crops that were unraveling. The educator told me the policy was that she couldn't give me a merchandise credit so that I could instead purchase a pair of pants that I know do perform well, like the Run Inspires, but that she only do an exchange for the exact same item or an item made of the same fabric. She said I had obviously purchased this product with a certain intention, and she couldn't replace them with anything else that would serve a different purpose. And the whole thing had to be completed in the same day, and I didn't have time to shop today, which is why I wanted a merchandise credit to use at a later time. Why would I want to replace pants that didn't perform with the same pair of pants? Has anyone else had this experience or understand this policy? Thanks! Leaves a very sour taste in my mouth as I am a very good customer.

@ anon 3:16 pm - how weird they wouldn't give you store credit.

They are Practice Cotton with added Lycra. I'm just not sure if they will get heavy and saggy during my circuit training. I might be wearing them casually only. Has anybody had Practice cotton bottoms before?

Anon @ 3:16

It amazes me that some stores/store managers seems to think they can make up their own rules at times! It's ridiculous actually. I have never had an issue replacing something I damaged out with something else if I wanted and if I couldn't find anything they were more than happy to put the amount on a gift card for me to come back later. I have several stores near me and they all have done it this way. I think an email or FB post on Lululemon's page is in order telling them of this bad experience.

@3.16pm I returned a pair of unraveling/pilled High Times after over a year without a receipt, and she told me I could get them repaired (which I tried first, but the store called and said they still looked awful after) or get any item at the same value (or pay the difference for a higher item, or get a merch card if the item I wanted was cheaper). I ended up getting more High Times, but I was definitely given the option to pick out whatever made me happy. They even went through online inventory to help me pick out a better product, and told me to bring those back if I didn't like them once I got them in the mail. I would never settle for them telling me to get the same exact item.

imho...
I would not wear practice cotton anywhere I had to exert myself. Cotton is cotton. It absorbs and shows sweat. Hate damp cotton next to my body. For others, I realize it may work just fine...especially for yoga.

Anon@3:116, I agree that you should email Lulu customer service and explain your situation. I had an item from WMTM that got pilled after just one wear and wash. I actually emailed Lulu first (because I had bought the item on WMTM). They instructed me to do a return at my local store, and if there was a problem to show the clerk there the email from Lulu advising me to do this. I didn't have any issues returning the top to my local store (they really are good there), but had I had any issues, I would have whipped out that email (thank goodness for smart phones so you can do exactly that!) I hope you get the resolution you want!

Hi, Anon @3:16 PM here. Thank you all so much for your feedback, it makes me feel justified to know that you are as baffled and frustrated as I am about this policy. I am happy to hear that you have had more positive experiences and maybe it was just a fluke, but I did leave feeling unappreciated as a loyal customer and feel that although LLL makes the best clothes in terms of athletic wear, their customer service is sadly lacking and very inconsistent. I am going to try to do most of my shopping online in the future and I hope I don't run across this issue again. Thank you for your blog LLA! It is nice to feel supported during a poor experience like this mine!

@ 3:16 PM: Tell us which store is it, so we all won't go shop there anymore. Just kidding! However, you should be able to get the credit if it's quality issue. I just called Lululemon customer service over the weekend about a pair of pants I got from looong time ago, but I only took the tag off couple weeks ago. I worn it once, washed once, then found out it started pilling at the anckles. Honestly, it wasn't too bad at all, but when I think about what may happen later on after couple more washes, I decided to return it (without tags and receipt). I called them, we figured out the pilling was from fraction of my all polyester socks, but anyway they sent me a free shipping label to send my pant back, and they promised to send me a gift card once they process the return. Anyway, some stores are just not acting as Lululemon but more themselves. If they are not helping at all, just find help somewhere else!
