People are pretty annoyed by the across the board increase in price of the solid crops and pants and stunned by the prices of the new All the Right Places, Zone In Crops, and Tight Stuff Tights. I ended up sticking with the relative bargain of the Cyber Stripe Naval Blue Pace Rival Crops.
Align Pant. I tried these on today and will put my photos and comments in another post. The material feels like tighter woven, more supportive rulu but a version meant to keep you cool. I wouldn't mind trying these in a crop form. Opacity was decent and coverage was good for how thin they are.
All the Right Places Pant. I tried the crop version of these. Fit is TTS. They're a mixture of luxtreme and full on luxtreme. I didn't care for the shiny panels in the black ones I tried on, nor the pocket situation since I'd want to be able to use these for running. The high waist was nice and comfortable and the thigh pockets are roomy.
Zone In Crops. These are like super soft In the Flow crops. I couldn't really tell a difference in support. I thought they fit the same as In the Flows.
Tight Stuff Tights. These were my favorite of the four new styles - supportive, opaque, and excellent coverage. Fit is a snug TTS.
Cyber Stripe Naval Blue Pace Rivals. I ordered these since they're now kind of a bargain in light of the price increases. Plus, I love textured luxtremes.

Not impressed. Jet crops went up in price $10 for no reason. Wishing I purchased last week when I was at the store but I figured there was no rush... I think all this nonsense lately is really getting me over LLL for real.
welp. i'm officially priced out of lulu, i think. $118 for pants is just too damn much.
Hong Kong and UK got a way better upload than the US.
@1:15 - I know right. And how about $118 for crops?! Loving this "new pants wall." *eye roll*
The crop and pant price increases are insane!
I wonder if US will ever get sapphire blue WUs
Has anybody tried the new space dye twist Define? What is the fabric like? Ss it thick like the old luon or is it thin and slinky like the recent heathered magenta? I bought the heathered magenta Define, and kind of wish I'd returned it. If the space dye twist is thin, I don't think it's worth $118.00.
Why does it look like a lot of these items were already released earlier in the year? Like the What's Sup hats?
i got this nulu pants this morning. holy crap, they are awesome! and $98! they are lightweight, incredibly soft, no muffin top to speak of, and totally opaque. i could totally do that ass in the air move like the girl in the video and nobody would see my undies. lol.
seriously though. all this "feelings" business is lame, but the pants are really really great.
Ugh. I love that the Heathered Blue Denim WUCs finally showed up on US side...on Sept 1st. Not that it's not still crop weather, but I'm much more in a "Fall" state-of-mind with my purchases. I love that color, but I just don't see myself reaching for that light of a color much more this year.
I do like the UV HTs but I had those in WUCs several years ago when that colorway was released with Dazzling. I really liked owning them, but I found that I rarely actually wore them, so sold them off.
$148 for Tight Stuff Right Reflective?! No thanks, Lulu. Your prices are getting ridic...
I picked up the jacquard WUPs.
I'll have to see the other new pants in store to see if they're worth the price. The Tight Stuff tights are made for running, but honestly I need more pockets than just a tiny little key pocket for nearly $150. I run marathons, I have the CIM coming up that I've been training for and already I can notice that it's getting darker earlier in the evenings, so the reflectivity is great (even though I wear Lulu jackets with reflective properties already) but I cannot justify $150 on these pants when the Speed Tights better suit my needs. Thanks to the thigh pockets I don't need to wear a flip belt or running pack.
Anyone else struggling to see how the new pants with no seaming in the front are going to work for anyone?
Not at all impressed by this upload ,online, and what's in store. I tried on the new "align" pant in store.. While the fabric felt soft , when I turned around to check my butt out in the mirror, I noticed they were sheer! Geez , lulu . You would've thought they would have learned their lesson from that recall a year ago.. But apparently not . So those went back . I also noticed some price increases in new pants. Some going for $148 bc of "reflectivity!". Generally I have no problem paying top dollar for high quality goods, but there's just no way I could ever justify spending that amount when I already have a lot of lulu black pants...
The only thing I purchased was the new power y tank in "blue " print.
The other new pants they have didn't seem like "must haves" either so it was an easy pass for me!
Just noticed the Pedal to the Medal 7/8 Reflective tights have now been repriced to $98, formerly $148, just as the Tight Stuff Reflective tights are priced on today's upload. What is this game Lulu is playing with pricing on reflective tights?? I would genuinely like to try the TS tights, but not at that unjustified price point.
Up to $148 for a blah color speed tight? No thank you! The interesting patterns got uploaded to the UK and Hong Kong sites. I'm going to stick to shopping off the WMTM page. Much more realistic pricing for what you get.
Am I the only one who thought Align pants were dark green?? I'm so bummed, but got them anyways just to try and see what all the fuss was about. Also got tie dye ITF crop in sapphire.
Why is the Scuba III in heathered regal plum showing up in upload as a new item? I bought this online last week.
Way too expensive. I'm kind of over these crazy prices. I just bought some fabulous high rise capris from Athleta in black and navy. The total for both was less than $100 with a 25% off coupon that I had. I wore them to yoga and barre class and I really like them and feel good about my purchase. I just can't justify spending so much on workout clothes anymore.
With all the years *reflective* heathered* items have come out and never a price increase, I find it stupid on my part to pay $50 more for it now..the new stuff seems the same as the old...oh well wmtm will be my only spot to shop.
I need more tanks and tees! So over the excessive amount of jackets/hoodies and bottoms. I had $150 to spend, I spent $50 on an outfit from fabletics and $68 on a what the sport singlet II and headband from lulu.
Oh HELL no on the ludicrous price hikes. Didn't buy a thing tonight and won't buy anything at these new prices--taking my money elsewhere thankyouverymuch.
I don't like the new non seaming in the front. It looks weird. i think it would create an even more giant camel toe. Goodbye camel toe, hello camel hoof!
Not a thing for me. Was briefly tempted by the Tight Stuff Tight *Reflective, as I am a sucker for reflectivity on my running gear, but for $148, I think not.
i love these! but why are they $148!!!! they don't have sliver scent or anything special...i am so sad ;(

WOW on the price increases and the prices for the new pants. I already had trouble shelling out $86 for solid inspire crops, but dang, I just CANNOT shell out $115+ for pants. Good thing I have a decent lulu collection now, with a nice color variety of both tanks and pants/crops. Most of these new pants are in colors I already have. I will probably continue to buy new crbs and swiftlys new, but for everything else, I will be patient and browse the Facebook boards or eBay. I just can't support this kind of price increase.
Ultraviolet High Times for me… should be good for dance class with black, grey and white tops. Nothing else tonight but interested in the wee stripe Speed Tights if they appear in a thicker run fabric.
@ Anon 1:45, what size heather magenta define do you have? I love the thinner material and am looking for one but they're all sold out...if you're interested in selling let me know!
Please please please bring back a supportive bra that isn't a tata tamer. You botched the all sport by adding the hook closure, and the energy bra is not cutting it.
I barely looked. I'm well on my way to "whatever" with LLL. The banner "do the clothes you wear make you feel alive" is nauseating. They definitely won't be getting $118, $128, $148 just because they're LLL. Not when there are other proven performers out there that cost the same or more but are worth it. The inflation of $10 on whatever, whenever they feel like it, will not be swallowed by this customer. They can keep it. And if you continue to buy it regardless of increases, they will continue to do it. Pretty soon some will be justifying WUs for $150.
Maybe they are sheer because you are trying on a size too small. When the fabric is stretched too tightly they can't perform correctly. That will happen with any fabric.
HK and UK are always a couple weeks ahead. We will see some (not all of it) soon.
Wow, last week had put a pair of $72 WU crops on my wish list and was going to buy them today to find the price is now $88. Um, what change since last week? No thanks.
Anon 6:12 PM - I totally agree! And there will be plenty of people continuing to buy... Makes me kinda sad actually.
That fourth picture down is probably one of the worst of the new artsy styles. I'm interested in the wrap but I want to make sure it looks okay in person. It might be a bit too sheer. Like everyone, I'm gasping at the prices of the new pants. I've got no problem spending $100+ on pants for work, but not for working out. My Zella's will have to do.
They've been slowly but surely jacking up the prices for a while now, I'm not at all surprised at what just happened with all the pants. It's been a game of $10 increase here and another $10 increase there, for quite some time now - using so called 'special' patterns, prints, colours, fabrics, etc as an excuse, also the higher waistbands - but I've always thought that these new high rise waists are more than likely much cheaper and easier to make compared to the quilted style waistbands on the old wunder unders and grooves for example, also the astros, etc. Seems like every time they 'update' a much loved item it comes back with far less details and a higher price, they're updating with their own best interests in mind(easier and cheaper to make with less details), recently it's the new Scuba IIIs. I guess they think we're fools to not see this. ...maybe we are if we keep on buying... and so it never ends... prices will continue to rise while quality continues to drop or at least never improve.
The price nonsense is crazy. I bought a puffer vest with butterflies tat my local store this weekend. The tag was marked $138 but it rang up $168. The girl at the register fixed it. Online it showed $168.
@luluaddict Do you wear the same size in the Tight Stuff tights as you do in the Pace Rival Crops? I'm in between sizes and don't know my TTS! I pretty reliably wear a 6 in Wunder Unders/WUCs, and always a 4 in seamless styles, and a 4 in pace rival crops. The rest...I could go either way. Trying to figure out what to order in the Tight Stuff.
...and for the record, the pants pricing isn't 'simpler'. There are $88 crops, and there are $118 crops. There is still a price differential in the same product category. So even lulu's happy talk doesn't ring true.
#choosefeeling ?? LLL: I choose to leave you. I prefer Ivivva prices and thankfully I still fit in their stuff. These sudden price increases are getting way out of hand and I will vote with my wallet. It's no wonder the Lulu stores I frequent here in Toronto are getting so empty lately. Truthfully I just can't sport this silly out-of-touch store logo on my body any more.
@JuliaK, My Magenta define is a size 6. I've been thinking about selling off some stuff since I've definitely spent wantonly over the past few years.
Hi there, I wasn't the previous commenter but I have a size 6 i would sell. It has been worn once.
Not too small at all. I'm a petite 5"3 , 102lbs. Size 2 is what I pretty much always wear, with a couple size 4s at the largest . If I would've went any bigger it would've been swimming on me. It's too bad bc the fabric felt nice, I could just totally see my panties through it. I probably have about 30 pairs of lulu bottoms and all are opaque , and size 2, or 4. Definitely not a size issue.. Fabric issue:(
I won't buy anymore, your service not getting better, your pants not getting less sheer, but I see your price higher and higher... whoever wants to keep following, go ahead, good for you, you must make more than you can spend.
LOL they are trippin with these new prices. The pace rivals really are the only thing that seem reasonable. $88 for WUCs? Bye Felicia. Thank goodness I still fit in the new Ivivva sizing!
The kooky "choose feeling" marketing campaign failed to woe me, although the reflective run tights do look nice (not nice enough for me to part with $148 though--and no thigh pockets!). Like you, LLA, I stuck with what I know and got the cyber stripe PR crops. I also got the diamond jacquard high times and some arm warmers to try. The arm warmers should be nice for early morning runs when the temps cool down in a few weeks.

I just returned my Heathered Blue Denim WUCs after tearing of the tags before I even tried them on. I wore them once and back they went. The fabric is very soft and comfortable, however it was way too thin for me. In the light color it shows some aspect of my thighs I would just as soon not have the rest of the world see.
I love the weight in a CRB, but that weight was too light for me in the WUC.
Besides the Align Pants, what else comes in that fabric? I didn't see many options. Thanks!
I bought the Pace Rival Skirt in Ultra Violet...love the twist multi color waistband on that color.
I tried on all the new pants today in the store. Honestly, I felt Lulu did an amazing job with the new product.
I'll post my fit comments when LLA does a post on the new pants.
Absolutely love the new items!!! Can't believe how many people are complaining about prices. Just like anything else if you can't afford it, go shop at Walmart!
I noticed that too!!! I initially wanted the Pedal To The Medal Reflective but didn't want to spend that kind of money so I settled for the regular black PTTM pants. I'm really upset now :-(
It's refreshing to see most everyone finds the prices ridiculous. (Plus generally reduced quality, especially when they "discontinue" something and then bring it back.) I'll never find a way to justify these prices and increases. Maybe I'll keep my eye on wmtm which is stupid. That's what you have to do now to get something for a "reasonable" price. I will likely just not be bothered.
I'm finally ready to stock up on sweaters and REALLY want the Om On Hoodie and The Universal Wrap, but $138 and $118? I could go to Gap, Banana Republic, heck even Nordstroms and get a cashmere blend for that much. It bums me out so much because the grain color in the Om On Hoodie is so gorgeous. But alas, my wallet cannot do it :(
I like some of the new stuff myself, but would like to check it out in person when I have a chance.
I must say there are still lots of people who are shopping at lulu even with those prices, maybe because I am in NYC. I still see people spending a lot on lulu.
I am glad I have a big collection so I won't have to spend money on workout gear for a while.
M
if you are looking at the sweaty or not kit (if there are any left in stores) make sure you look well at the product - the one I picked up had unfinished stitching across the entire pocket, it was clearly a bad defect - I was in a rush and saw that the store had gone from having over a dozen to just a couple left so I picked it up in the striped version as soon as I realized, I had to go back as soon as I could to get the last one that was actually sewn - For a $50 kit, it's crazy they have zero quality control and that no one bothered to even notice because so many products fly in and out - also, I picked up a coco pique black vinyasa just like last year's, not sure if this was ever in an upload but I know it's a popular + a soft scarf so check your store if you are looking! The summer Vinyasa scarves are on sale in store too, think they were $29...HTH!
