I've been feeling under the weather so am a bit late at getting this post up. I combined the three foreign sites, Australia, Hong Kong, and the UK, into one spoiler post. It looks like my wallet is safe for the foreseeable future.

I think the print on the new cool Racerback is kind of sexy . But. Feel like I am usually n the minority. I think most of the other prints of late (butterfly) have been pretty juvenile.

I find the pattern rather cheap looking. Same goes for the purple cheetah print! Reminds me of cheap athletic clothing from Walmart.

Anon @ 10:19, I completely agree. The cheetah print is the worst! I haven't liked anything in the snake print except the gator green swiftly racerback. The print is a good fit with that color, and it's more muted in the swiftly material. The snake print in bright shiny fabrics looks really cheap.

Nothing really appeals above. I am not happy about the price hikes. Moving forward it will stop me from buying as much as I have and I will be far more selective. I am very disappointed about the prices as I don't think the quality vs. price hike is justified.

All I want is the Fluffin' Awesome Vest in black. I like the weave but it won't layer over most of my coats well. Tofino Scribble is okay, maybe in a Lighten Up Bra with Bon Bon straps. :)

The new print isn't my style either, but I suppose it might be someone else's. What's the Beyond Boundries tank supposed to be for? Seems like it would fall in my face during yoga, flap around like crazy while running, and is a bit bare for me for casual wear, especially for fall/winter!

I kinda like the colors in the new print. I don't do florals, tie die, or animal prints so this is preferable. I bought the in flux jacket in cranberry and fatigue and don't really have any tops to match either one because I haven't liked much.

Does anyone know if swiftlies are forever only going to be in heathered colorways from now on? I have been holding out for some saturated colors if I am going to pay Lulu's price point. I really need crew neck shirts and just ordered a bunch from Champion that I hope will work for me, since I don't like any of lulu's swiftly colors enough to pay $60. I got 4 shirts from Champion for that price!

There seems to be a price bump for everything. Shortly, Lulu will raise the price on the plain Swiftlies to match the price on the striped ones claiming it is less confusing that way just as they did with the pants. Confusing to whom?

carrie said...

you know... they said it was to make things less confusing. but as i was scrolling through their pants page. they are ALL STILL DIFFERENT prices. WTF?
i don't get it.

I like that Sweat It Out tank. And seriously, why's LLL playing games? Just bring back the 105 already!

I'm not surprised the prices are going up on the striped/printed Swiftly tops, seeing as though they've been going up on everything else - it was only a matter of time. Seems so greedy to me and it's a turn off. Anything is an excuse to bump the prices up it seems, it won't be long after that the price of the regular ones will go up too. I won't be purchasing as much as I used to, I make several orders a month and the price increases certainly add up with multiple purchases.

LuluAddict - I wasn't sure about the gradient Swiftly tops either, but after purchasing the Peacock Blue Short Sleeve one I have to say I quite like them - they're actually really flattering. I have an hourglass shape and find that the gradient pattern flatters it.

I just ordered one of the new Swiftly Long Sleeves and the price was still the same for all of them (at least for now...), thankfully. Did you see what the new price is going to be? I'm kind of ticked about this actually... Anything is an excuse...

Anonymous said...

Oh, and I forgot to add, mostly all of the newest Swiftly tops have been the striped or printed ones... figures...

Anonymous said...

Anon 5:16 AM - I totally agree. I'm not at all happy with the price increases we've been seeing either. They're not at all justified as far as I can see... I won't be buying as much and will be much more selective as well.

Can't decide if I love the contrast of the Coast Camo and Sapphire Blue on those Pace Rivals, or if it is too much. Happy to have some time to decide. Also, FYI for those of you who were disappointed the lines didn't line up on the new Ultra Violet/Naval Blue cyber stripe Pace Rivals (CAN), I just picked up a pair of the Vent It Out crops (US) in that pattern and the stripes DO line up. It's bizarre, because I feel like this has happened with all of the cyber stripe patterns -- one style does not line up AT ALL, and the other one is perfect. I will never understand lulu's business practices or schizophrenic quality control...

I really like the gradient swiftlys -- I think they're a little more eye-catching, and the peacock one is one of my new favorites

I'm really liking Fluffin Awesome vest in Weave, just wish it wasn't shiny fabric. Not a big fan of the new print either. Kinda of liking new Kato vest, and wonder if it's just one layer of fabric or there's some kind of light polyester fill? I just got 2 Go the distance vests and don't need another thin one.
