The align pants feel really good on, but they are so thin that the outline of your underwear shows. They are also very boring in design, look like tights. The zone in were very uncomfortable and unflattering.
The gray zone in tights look like panty hose. How ugly! And what is with that half circle shape on the butt?! That woman probably has a great figure and those pants look terrible on her! Way to go lulu. Another big over priced loser. I'll be keeping my money in my pocket.
Thanks for the awesome surprises when I woke up this morning! I love it when I have some news yo read with my morning Java! ;)
Those Zone In bottoms look horrible! Unless you have the exact shape meant for those pants, they accentuate every flaw! Ew! Bad bad bad designs. The inversion photo shows how great they look compressing the crotch. More ew!
I did buy the Align Pant at upload yesterday more to check out the fabric and style. I thought that these were the most promising. And I'm heading to a store next weekend, so I can return for free if they are an epic fail, too. Here's hoping they're flattering! I don't have a single pair of solid black bottoms. All are detailed in some way.
This women have amazing bodies, and I don't find these pants flattering at all in certain "areas"!! yikes! I can only imagine what my legs and butt would look like!
I got a pair of the Align Pants yesterday. They are incredibly soft and comfortable. I'll be interested in seeing how they look in other colors. I can't wait for my next practice to try them out, I'm in love with them! I tried on the Zone In Crop and they weren't suited for my lumpy, er curvy body. I saw another girl their with them on who was thinner than me and they looked gorgeous on her. They didn't have the pants there but I'd love to try them.
Does anyone else think the Zone In seamless crops/pants look really weird at the crotch area? I think they're appropriately named because for some reason they are drawing attention to that area. I was interested in trying them despite the new pants marketing shenanigans, but think I'll pass because they're like this in every photo I've seen of them so far. Plus, not really loving the way they look from behind, they look weird at the bum too, they don't look like they're bum flattering.
The Align Pants don't look all that flattering either. Normally when I see these kinds of photos, Lulus pants always seem to flatter everyone who wears them, but in these photos showing the new pants, they don't look as flattering and the women wearing them are lovely! ...I wonder how they'd look on someone with some imperfections...
Let me preface this by saying I am NOT one to body snark; lord knows I -- as well as most women -- have cellulite! But in these pants, you can clearly see cellulite on these thin, athletic, beautiful women -- how are the rest of us supposed to look in them?! Yikes. Not exactly opaque .. and not exactly making me want to spend boku bucks on them ...!! Perhaps it's just bad lighting casting shadows?!
Not liking either the Align or Zone in Crops. It may just be me, but they seem very revealing in the crotch and thigh area. (Even on these super skinny women) I like the fit of the WUP better. Of course, even if I did like the above pants I would never get them at the current prices.
Is it just me or does the lack of a crotch seam look really weird? Can anyone who has tried some of these on give reports of how the crotch fits? It makes these women look like barbie dolls.
YIKES!! Those black Zone In Crops look just terrible on that skinny gal in the pics. I can't even image how frightening they would be on my curvy somewhat lumpy thighs!
Haha! @ Anon 9:35 - That was always my beef with the seamless materials. Unless there is a weave pattern like the chevron or herringbone, seamless looks like a Conehead butt. Nooot a butt I want to put out there. Eesh!
Do not have much more to add as most of the previous comments pretty much say it all... but, I could not help myself and add one more person to the list (LLL, are you listening)... so disappointing. I ask my guy friends if they find it flattering, and they say "would you like to see men in tights like these"? I think not...
I have to agree with the other comments here. The butt shots are putting me off this pant entirely. Is that band as obvious on the cranberry? I was going to try the cranberry pair, but I'm getting the impression this pant may only be suitable for lean ectomorph types.
I went in today to try on the Zone In Crops/Pants again because I really like the Seamlessly Street Crop and was hoping that the new pant/crop in this material would be great. I saw a very lean muscular cross fit girl rock the pant version yesterday! Sadly they did not work on me..I saw bulges in areas that never see bulges in the seamlessly street crop and while I liked the lift I got in the butt area they were not flattering overall. I think that one needs to have a somewhat flawless lower have (i.e. no extra hanging around ) to pull off these pants/crops :(
On the pricing issue this line on Carbon 38 makes Lulu look inexpensive, LOL http://www.carbon38.com/lucas-hugh.html?trk_msg=ESPIR8EGEFM47AB2FTH6MKIRHK&trk_contact=DJFRPP0IS5G403R4SC5B80P9D0&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=http%3a%2f%2fwww.carbon38.com%2flucas-hugh.html&utm_campaign=090215_LucasHugh#page=1&top=2579&
I am a bit baffled on the pricing changes..weren't the pace rivals $98 and now they are $88? I must check on a recent pair I purchased last week (I want a price adjustment if that's the case!) While most pants went up did these go down?
@anon 9:35 AM I tried the align pants on in the store and they gave me noticeable camel toe in my TTS 6 and in my size up. I did not try sizing down, and did not purchase them...
The fabric is very soft, but they immediately reminded me of a pair of work out pants I bought from TJ Maxx that feel exactly like this, and they were less than $20 - with a proper gusset, I might add.
@ lulu - Yes, print Pace Rivals were $98. I have a NWT pair of the Wee Stripe in my drawer right now. That is one reason I ordered the Cyber Stripe on Tuesday. They are now the "bargain" crop.
I tried the zone pants in store and the fit is horrible. They gave me grandma butt, were not very stretchy, the ankles super narrow... Total fail. I'm a size 2 with crossfit bum and believe me they were one of the most unflattering pants I've ever tried. The align were very nice, super soft but not compressive. They didn't give me CT and the bum looked fabulous. Not sheer on me!
I bought a pair of the Zone In Pants because they made my bum and thighs look amazing! The crotch and bare, yet held in feeling remind me of my dance tights but opaque so appropriate for outside the studio. The rise is also very similar.

The zone in crops do not appear that flattering for many behinds...

The butt shot of the Zone In tights looks like granny panty butt. No thanks. Terrible!
The Zone In crops look odd from the back, like a droopy double butt effect on someone with an already incredible body.

Wow, those are...not flattering.

those people's butts and crotches look awful
And I'm sure it's not them it's the pants
Wow. Those zone in tights are a joke. Just buy two sets of Hanes and you're good to go.
ITA. Not good. Not good at all.
These all look like granny pants from the behind. Eek
Zone in on my flaws tights...Awesome!

Agree: weirdo crotch and not flattering even on fit people from any angle it would seem. Helps make a decision on something that's an easy pass.

Ladies ladies it's not how the pants look anymore it's how they make you feel!!!! Obviously buying feelings is expensive.
Snark snark.. Sorry couldn't resist I agree with all the remarks. The jokes on lulu this time.
