Upload!

Upload!

What's with a dude on the landing page for upload? There's a big link to the men's stuff but I have to scroll down to find my link. Are men suddenly on their computers, iPads, and phones breathlessly refreshing waiting for upload at 3:15 pm Tuesdays? I don't think so. Upload is girl-time. Lululemon needs to think about the tone it's taking towards its women customers lately. More in a separate post about that.

Seriously, lulu, why are you dissing us lately?

The US got the Heathered Cranberry Cool Racerback. I ordered this to try even though I have read some people haven't liked it. No Pink Lemonade for the the US, though.

I also ordered these - the Sapphire Space Dye Twist Wunder Under Crops. I had to order from Canada since the US didn't get the 12 but I'll be there to pick it up from my Canadian connection.

The Sapphire Space Dye Twist also came in Wunder Under Pants. Hate the shirt tied over the rear so I can't see if the lines match up. Stellar photography, lulu.

New Run the World 7/8th Tight. I am not a fan of the asymmetrical color blocking on the legs.

New Coast Wrap, made of modal fabric. (US)

Definitely Raining Jacket

The new Scuba Hoodie IIIs. People who have tried this on say it's just like a Cotton Fleece On the Daily and wonder why it was given the name Scuba. Reports say if you are used to sizing up for the Scuba you don't have to for this jacket. The price is a steep $118 so I'm waiting to try this when I get to Canada and hopefully take advantage of the currency difference.

French Terry Scuba III. I like the butterfly print a lot but I'm not a fan of the solid arms.

Scuba IIs - the Camp Check is back in a Cranberry version this time.

Canada got the butterfly Pace Rivals. I'm hoping to try this when I get to Canada.

Very pretty Sun to Moon scarf. I am not a scarf person but this is gorgeous. (US)

Vent It Out Crops (CAN)

Ziggy Snake Wunder Under Crops and Pants (CAN)

Pink Lemonade shorts in Super Squad, Trackers, and Run Times. (US)

Cranberry Wunder Under Crops and Pants (US)

Canada got the Cranberry Tie Dye Swiftly SS. I'm hoping to try this on when I am there for Sea Wheeze.

Gator Green Cyber Stripe Wunder Under Pants (US). I was very tempted to order these but I want to try them on first.

Canada got the Ghost Dot Power Y. I just love this tank. (That sweater in the photo annoys me to no end, way to ruin a gorgeous look.)

Sattva Pant IIs. It looks like the legs are thinner than they were last time. (CAN)

Post Savasana Pullover. I love the blue denim one.

Pizzaz LS Swiftly

The item you've all been waiting months for - the Secret Sanctuary Scarf. This should just go straight to the outlets. I love the name one woman in my Facebook groups gave this, the "Forever Alone Scarf".

What did you get today?

Update:

Bon Bon is back! I love Bon Bon. I wonder if Kiss, Lolo, and Senorita Pink will be making re-appearances, too.

Such a crappy upload for Canada.. my wallet is safe! Did see a few things on the US side though that I would have loved, f.ex. the butterfly scuba III - so pretty, but I wish it had butterflies on the sleeves as well, not just on the body. If it makes it to Canada I will definitely give it a try! Also, no new stuff your bras, CRBs, or FTBW bras for Canada.. BOOOOO!!

I did look at the UK upload today.. they got new on the daily hoodies, scubas, bras, pants.. so disappointed that all this stuff didn't make it into today's upload.

Very early today! I only got the gator green rain jacket - would get more use out of black but went with green because the lining is awesome!
I really wish lulu would put out an all staff communique about what names to use with what products. How come the tie die swiftly is just listed with the regular solids? But on the Aussie site it gets a separate listing? Same with the CRB's made from different fabrics not getting their own listing (or anything to indicate you're getting a polyester CRB). Just strikes me as odd.
Cheap week for me though (which is great as Seawheeze looms in the short distance) - still waiting up here in Canada for the gingham WUC's, striped WUC's (black/white) and the striped pace rivals....neither made it here yet from what I can remember. :(

Is the website down? I've tried to complete my purchase (red pleat to street) from my phone and computer, over wifi and 4g. The website just won't load anymore. :(

I just did a live chat with an educator who said that the Scuba III is a more relaxed fit than the Scuba II, and that they are the same length. For some reason, the photos to me look like the Scuba III is longer but I guess not.

Tempted by the Coast Wrap--I wonder if I need every single wrap that Lulu makes? lol maybe/ maybe not.

Will the U.S. Get more butterfly stuff like speed shorts?

I got the Scuba II in the cranberry/black check. Love it! Love the Gator Green Definitely Raining Jacket, but US did not get it this week. Bummer. Hoping for next week.

Nothing else of interest. Thankfully.

Was hoping for the Pink Lemonade CRB and What the Sport Tee, and some butterfly Speed Shorts...maybe next week...

You and I had the same picks. Got the heathered cranberry CRB, sapphire space dye WUC, and I did end up ordering the gator green cyber stripe WUP to try. I have a pair of the High Times in naval blue cyber stripe from last week and the stripes are a little off, and I have one more pair coming to see if they align, so I'm hoping these don't have that problem.

I too was wondering why there was a guy on there when it loaded up! I'll be interested in seeing your write up on this LLA.

Nothing for me tonight...at least for now. I'm liking a few new Swiftly tops, but am going to have to think about if I really like them enough to order them, I've purchased a lot of new Swfitly tops, among other many other things lately, might be nice to give my wallet a break for a week.

I got the cranberry check scuba. Need it like a shot to the head but it's so cute and lumberjacky! Plus, I do wear my scubas constantly in the fall/winter. I also picked up a light blue colored swiftly sleeveless tank for my hubby. Forever alone scarf hehehe.

The Scuba III does look longer.

I have no idea why they called the Scuba III, makes me think it's going to be replacing the much loved Scuba II :( I read a comment from another Lulu lover on one of these blogs(can't remember which one), saying that it should have been called the Daily Scuba instead, which I think is more appropriate too seeing as though it's a combination of the On The Daily and the Scuba II. I don't like the looks of the Scuba III and can tell it won't work for me, my fingers are crossed the Scuba II isn't getting phased out.

I did see the Gator Green jacket in store today - the butterfly lining is really eye catching! Too bad it's only on the green version, but not the black (has that ugly snake-print lining). Can't afford to get another green jacket, since I bought two fuel green ones last year LOL
Hope they make it in Cranberry or Bordeaux Drama again.

The bottom edge is shaped a bit too straight for my taste. I much more prefer last year's right as rain jacket. Wish I had gotten that one in bordeaux.

Forever Alone Scarf hahaha! Well I don't even know where to begin. First of all, I totally agree with you about putting the men front and center on the homepage. Curious to hear more. Second, you and I honed in on that same ridiculous photo of the model with the shirt tied around her waist totally blocking the rear view. One positive thing I have to say about the new photos is that they are really teasing future releases by pairing the main item with forthcoming products. BUT, they're doing this at the detriment of the current product for sale! The focus needs to be on showing the product clearly...but I don't have to tell you all that. Ugh. Anyway, I got the cranberry CRB and I fell for the Pizazz color (love!) and got both the Swiftly racerback and LS.

Nothing for me, although I have my eye on the Sunset Salutation Shorts in the biggie butterfly print. (Can Web) Love when they add gator green with butterflies. However, I didn't pull the trigger as they are a tad pricey at $58. Love the waistband and side ruching so I might give them a try in store. They have a lot of little details on them which attracted me to LL in the first place. Hoping they come out with the butterfly CRB that was on the Aussie site.
On a side note, I am so hoping the stores continue to post their own pictures as these website photo's are getting so annoying they are putting me off product.
Also, tried on the new 'scuba' yesterday, they have no business even calling it a scuba. Its not.

I tried the sapphire space dye WUPs in store and not one pair had the stripes lined up front and back. I ordered the WUCs online and am hoping the stripes line up for these. I tried the definitely raining jacket in a size down but it was too tight on my chest. In my TTS, the chest fit but then everything else was too big. Not impressed with the fit.

The Secret Sanctuary Scarf looks like a Snuggie.

This is OT- Could somebody tell me whether the U.S. ever got All You Need Shorts?? They look comfy for lounging around.... TIA!

@ OttawaLuluLover - I totally agree, I very much prefer last years Right As Rain Jacket as well. I love that it was more of an a-line shape and that the hemline was slightly shorter at the front and longer at the back, much more feminine looking. I dislike the new straight up and down shape and the straight across hemline on this years jacket.

I'm really happy I got the Black one last year and now wishing I had of pulled the trigger on the beautiful Bordeaux Drama one I had my eye on at the time. Honestly, I was kind of thinking the same jacket would be back this fall, perhaps in slightly different colours, but wasn't expecting the shape to change :(

As a male fan, the men's side still seems like a joke. It's been literally the same things all summer and crappy products. So many things have been "replaced" by crappier products over the last 2 years. I barely buy anything except my pace breakers these days. I hate how even the core hoodie has been replaced by the crappy best coast hoodie for example. They really need to step up the men's side.

Anonymous said...

LLA, I love those shades of pink too :) I had a hoodie in Fruiti Tutti (or was it tutti fruiti?!) which was a really nice pink as well!

Anonymous said...

Those. Photos. I can't take it!!!!

They wrapped her in a sac cloth. And think that people will pay $88 + tax for it. This may just be the stupidest thing I have seen LLL sell. Hmmm.

I really like the Butterfly Texture Black Mink Berry Scuba II, so pretty! Hope that one is coming to Canada!

LuluAddict said...

@ 6:41 pm - I've seen it referred to as the Lulu Snuggie a lot. Some people were hoping it would hit the warehouse sale so they could snap it up and use as a snuggie, lol.

I picked up the blue Post Savasana in store this past weekend. It is my absolute favorite sweater from the last time it came out. Will probably go to WMTM (and I will pick up more then) but I couldn't resist the blue. It seems to be sized similarly to the previous release. Size down at least one if not two sizes and it will still be roomy.

I got the cranberry CRB because I have the cranberry In Flux... hopefully I'll like it. I also bought the Definitely Raining in Espresso to try it. I might exchange it for Gator Green though, if my store got that color.

I can't take the crappy product photos anymore! I think I need a break... shopping on the website isn't fun anymore, it's just frustrating. :(

Unknown said...

Nothing for me but hoping to see the definitely raining jacket in the green and or brown in store to possibly buy one of those 2 colors...Also want to try on the scuba III in person and I too wish the butterfly print was all over :)

Someone up there asked about the all you need shorts....I don't know if they've been on the website but I've definitely seen them in-store! Tried them on at the Cleveland Eton Chagrin store and they were awesome, almost bought them but didn't, now I wish I had.

My predicition - The snuggie scarf will go on markdown before the holiday season and find itself under a lot of christmas trees LOL

I bought the sapphire striped WUC to try and the cranberry check scuba. Did anyone notice the scallop edge 105 they featured with the gator green stripe WU?? Why are they doing that to us? They better bring that tank back asap!

@anon 8:46- I too am seriously considering the Post Savasana Pullover in Denim Blue. I just can't resist that color, so sophisticated.

I noticed that you mentioned that you could size down. I'm typically a 10 because I have a chest and broad shoulders. Did you find that this sweater is tight in the arms or wing span at all? Even when you sized down?

Thanks!

I'm totally buying the Forever Alone scarf when it goes on clearance. It would actually be great for long international flights when you need to catch some Zzzzz's.

I didn't order anything from the upload , but I ordered Pedal To the medal top in gray to wear casually , received it yesterday and really liking ut

Has anyone seen the Butterfly Texture Black Mink Berry print up close? Is it basically black with white specs? I can't tell from the on-line photos...

I picked up the Butterfly Pace rivals in store. They are Full-lux. All the other stuff I was hoping we'd get (Butterfly speed shorts, Butterfly CRB, and a few other items that have yet to hit Canada), still haven't shown up in the uploads or in stores.

Anonymous said...

Not sure why you're attacking their choice to feature a man on their banner. I saw that and thought it was rather awesome that they are starting to pay more attention to the male side of their clientele. I hope they keep featuring more men!

Unknown said...

The Savasana is one of my favorite Lulu sweaters. I am broad-shouldered and I don't like the chest area of my clothing to be tight, so I like the way my usual LL sweater size fits with this one... It's not a size-down for me, but usually I'd rather have something billow a bit around the waist than have my shoulders be tight. I'm really happy this one is back!!

Anonymous said...

I also don't mind the guy on the banner. It's a bit of a change from the usual.

I have not bought a thing from LULU in quite a while. wish more butterfly stuff was also getting uploaded.

@ OttawaLuluLover - OT, but I'm looking for a Canadian angel to mail me a "Game, Set, Match" plastic water bottle from the Canadian side for my tennis loving daughter.
Will send advance funds (for price + shipping to me) via PayPal or however else you prefer.
Thanks for considering!

How much or is the grey and white scuba hoodie still available?
