Canada got an interesting Silverescent Sweat It Out Racer. I definitely want to give this a try.

Just noticed these when I was looking at the UK/HK uploaded - 9" Long What the Sport Shorts. Though the black comes in a 12 in HK (?!) it only comes to a ten in the US and CAD. I totally would love these for summer running.

Two new rulu Vinaysas.

Did you get anything today?

WUC iii? No description but they look shorter??

Well, I totally would have bought that cranberry Define if not for the snake skin print on the trim. As much as I love that cranberry color, I find animal print tacky and cheap looking.

Picked up a Cranberry In Flux (hoping the size-up was a good idea), Heathered Slate Wunder Under Crop III (What are the differences in the IIIs?) and Herringbone black/slate Rulu Vinyasa... the Cranberry & herringbone rulu have me feeling kind of Christmas-y this week hehe

I might buy the butterfly shorts and the berry defines later, but for now CC is still bleeding from Wanderlust (3 pants and 2 bras :S )

canada got all the good butterfly prints! i was so bummed that the US did not get the tracker shorts, sigh. i hope we get them soon :-/. Nothing else really called to me this week.

Anonymous said...

is there a way to get something from the canadian site if one is in the US? :)

I got the High Times *SE pretty plumes today in the store. They just hit. I read the reviews about sizing up. I tried my TTS 6. Yes, it was very compressive, as full-on luon or luxtreme typically is for me, but not a deal breaker. None the less, I did size up to 8 for comfort factor. A bit worried they may start to bag, in which case I would be super bummed. 5'6" 128lbs. I think they are super pretty!

I bought the Cranberry In Flux Jacket, the Cranberry Dance Studio Pants, and the Cranberry/Red Ziggy Snake Define Jacket. The first two were a must have for me and will keep, the third, the Define, I'm not quite sure about, will have to decide when it arrives and I can see it in person and how it looks on me. It's the snake print I'm not quite sure of, I normally stay away from snake prints, but it might look ok when I try it, I'll have to see.

I want to try the long what the sport short. They look perfect for long summer runs!

Anonymous said...

forgot to add - to Anon 3:59 PM - I think you'll be happy with your decision to size up for the In Flux Jacket.

Bought the cranberry studio pants - love that color, really cute! I am still debating on the jet slim crops in wee stripe from last week, anyone have them that could let me know if they like them and/or how they fit?

Alejandra said...

LLA I think you forgot the two new rulu vinyasas, both of which I find totally bland. I think the smallest dose of the butterfly print on the waistband of those Inspires is pretty, but the items that are full-on butterfly look so juvenile. The angel wing color scheme is really quite lovely, maybe I need those inspires... :-)

LuluAddict said...

@Alejandra - just added those on. My wifi was being wonky before. I agree about too much butterfly - I am seriously excited about the run hat I ordered but not sure I'd want much more of that print.

@ anon 4:53 pm - I missed those long WTS but I would love them. They go to a 12 on the HK site but not ours for some reason. I have some longer 9" shorts and really like them for summer.

I got them in store last week. I love them. Jet crop slims are my favorite pants right now. I prefer luxtreme but the wee stripe are thick, luscious Luon without being hot. If you don't have jet crops they're amazing. They can be used for workouts, and dressed casual or dressed up.

Deezee007 said...

Anon 4:59- I tried on the slim jet crops last week in store and they are really lovely. Stayed with my TTS 8. The reason they didn't come home with me is because they give you a pouch in the front area. It's just the design of the pant. Slim, yet a little haremy. Sizing down would not have made a difference. If you can get past it, they are really pretty.

I'm debating on the pretty plum WUC II. I'm a sucker for a white print, just fear the placement. So bummed that we didn't get that red hat from a few posts back.

I was on upload early (so it wasn't a sell out issue) and yet again another great color of studio pants and no size 2. Super annoying! Esp in a pant most people size down in! I love the color so much I am going to try the size 4 and hope for the best. Has anyone tried on their size up or TTS in these?

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me on the online upload, but I did pick up the Plume High Times pants in store today. I sized up too because I found these pants ran about a 1/2 size small. I also found my regular size to be slightly sheer in a deep squat, but nice and opaque in the size up. I'm on the fence about the print, so we'll see.

Unknown said...

The colors of the cranberry ht and wuc look different. Is it just me?

Anonymous said...

Scored the butterfly energy bra and angel wing striped vinyasa. I want the new inspires the US got. Hoping for some fun Scubas soon!

Anonymous said...

Anon 4:59 I tried the wee space jet crop slims in store over the weekend and found them really comfy. As for fit I would stay TTS and u will Prob have a little room for comfort. I prefer the luon slims over the Luxtreme for this reason. Luxtreme u can sometimes see pocket outlines etc. not so in these.

The site was SO broken! It took me half an hour to get the multi stripe vinyasa scarf into my cart and another 20 minutes to log in and check out.

Anonymous said...

I ordered the naval blue cyber stripe HTs and the pink lemonade energy bra to try - I need to see the shade of pink in person before I'll know if I'm keeping it. I was hoping for a pair of the pretty plume WUCs, but after trying them on in the store yesterday I found them to be extremely sheer, so those became an easy pass. It's too bad because I do like the print quite a bit.

Unknown said...

I've been wearing the Wee jets all day and I like them a lot! I did my usual size, and a size up ended up bagging funny in the front so if you're in-between, go down. I do like the pattern; however, I felt the pants looked a little pajama-y when paired with lighter colors. They are cute and comfortable, but not as versatile as I was thinking they'd be --

Had to get the butterfly run times shorts. So cute!!

The UK upload was much better than the one for the US & Canada. I really hope their stuff makes it over here soon!
Not too much for me today.. I got the herringbone vinyasa scarf, since I missed out in the previous years. I was hoping for the gorgeous FTBW with butterflies on it (UK) and the new scubas (also UK). I do like the butterfly prints, but I wish the colors were a bit more realistic. I really liked the wanderlust butterfly print, because it really looked like a close up of a real butterfly. If they do come out with a vinyasa scarf with butterflies on it, I don't think I'd be able to resist.
I really love the bird plumage prints =) hope they come out with more nature-inspired prints!

Anon 4:50, which store? I have the plum pants and need to size up. Thanks!

OttawaLuluLover said...

@ Anonymous 14:41:

You can get a mailbox address in Canada, and have your parcels forwarded to your home address in the US. It's fairly easy and you can consolidate packages.

JK said...

I missed out on the Herringbone Vinyasa hysteria last year and ordered the 2015 version to check out. It may be too close to Pique for me to justify keeping though. Nothing else interested me.

The new-look stock photos continue to baffle me. The poses are distracting, and the limited views of the product are of little value to me as an online consumer. The whimsical array of photos for the new Sapphire snake print inspires are just awful. The heather slate WUC III photos are practically useless. And the photo of the model sitting down in the tranquil blue pleat to street skirt looks ridiculous.

No size 2 in the DSPs. :(

Unknown said...

I have yet to pull the trigger on anything but was too late on the cranberry dance studios as most sizes are already sold out ! But still debating on the new striped high times pants .

You need a CAN ship too address. Can ask for an angel to use their address then ship to you in the US.

Anonymous said...

OT- but is Luxtreme normally the "shiny" fabric and Luon isn't? Which has more compression....Thanks so much :)

Anonymous said...

Got my high times pants in pretty plums in mail today. Love these but they are sheer!!! Wth?! I was looking forward to these but I did a bend test and saw the hang tag. Does Lulu do bend teses themselves?! What happened to quality control? I don't get it. People were fighting over these and to find out they are sheer? I'm a TTS 6 and I can't find them everywhere to size up to 8. I guess I will be returning the pretty plums WUC that were uploaded today as well. What a disappointment.

Anonymous said...

Looks like Lululemon was offline (US) on both phone and browser for a long while tonight. It's confusing why large companies can't get their software to work on launch days. It seemed like Lulu was an exception--their site seemed to work well. Now, not so much.

Anonymous said...

off topic....but just noticed that on Aus website the wunder under crop II are showing sized to a 14 (but not actuallu available atm)??? mistake on their part or not?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous at 8:51 PM - My store Bellevue, WA had the Pretty Plume HT in a size 8 when I was there today. I sized up to a 6 in them and they aren't sheer at all... definitely keepers for me. :)

Rise and Shine said...

Anon @ 6:03, I always wear a larger size in DSPs than in stretchy Lulu pants. They are loose in the waist, but I figure that's what the drawstring is designed to handle. In my TTS, DSPs are super tight on my tuckus, which is not comfortable or flattering. Good luck!

There were some 8s and 12s at the Mall of America yesterday -- try calling!

Wish the long WTS shorts had come out a few months ago! I just bought a pair of sculpt shorts from WMTM. Would love pockets but don't think I can justify another pair of shorts this late in the season.. Plus, 9 inches may be a bit long..

I could use a little snake skin in my life- maybe a FTB or FTBW..

But someone please talk me out of another misadventure with the jet crops. I have now ordered and returned them twice. I need a loose pair of comfortable pants for around the house that are also acceptable for trips to town and maybe even a causal day at the office. They look great on the models (surprise), but the extra fabric in the front just feels silly when I get them on and has put me off both times. Still, maybe on sale.. I keep looking at the WMTM page...

clpatters said...

Where can I find the mini pop stripe/butterfly inspires? Are they already gone from the site? I hate that you can't search by color/print anymore on the site. When did this happen?

Anonymous said...

Anon 6:03. I never size down in my studio pants. They aren't supposed to be skin tight. I always buy my tts in them and never had issues and they fit like they should. Not tight but not loose either.

LuluAddict said...

@clpatters -I still see them. Only the US got them. I can find them under What's New on the front page and under crops.

Anonymous said...

Anon 603 here...just wanted to thank those who provided feedback on studio pants sizing. That's one of the things I love about this blog! U gave me hope that sizing up to a 4 may work out afterall. Hopefully they aren't too baggy. The 2 is a perfect just loose enough fit. I do think it's unfair of lulu to not offer some of the new colors in these pants in a 2 on web (same with blue denim) They always sell out and many times the 2s go first so the demand is there. Just frustrating. But thanks again. Love this color!

Anonymous said...

Anon 6:03 - I agree with others, I buy my Dance Studio Pants in my usual size 4, I don't get how some people can size down in these. My usual size 4 is quite snug (almost too snug!) around my bum, although a tiny bit loose in the waist. They don't stretch out anywhere near as much as a lot of the reviews say they do, I find that they relax only a tiny little bit, just enough, around my bum with wear, and then after washing they are back to feeling quite snug again when I put them on, but like I said, they only give a tiny bit and in my opinion not enough to size down, if anything I could size up, but then the waist would be too bi (I have smaller waist and bigger butt and thighs though).

Anonymous said...

I always size down to a 2 in studio pants & they are NOT tight at all. I wear a 4 in speed shorts & a 6 in tights. I ordered a 4 in the cranberry studio pants & hoping they won't be too loose!

ErinnaLulu said...

OT, but I have a Pistachio cool racer back that a bit big on me. I'm thinking either to return it or exchange with a smaller size. If anyone has a size 4 and prefer a 6, please contact me for a swap at erinna126@hotmail.com. TIA!!!

Anonymous said...

If anyone snagged an extra cranberry DSP in a size 4 by any chance, I'd love to take them off your hands. Sold out by the time I tried to place my order. Please email me at adipemm@yahoo.com. Please and thank you!!

clpatters said...

I found them now. It was hard to tell it was them from the smaller picture on the What's New page. Thanks!

Anonymous said...

I also dislike that you can no longer search by color or print. It makes the search bar useless, imo! What am I typing in there then? Search for Shorts? Tees? The bar on the left already divides them by category and sport.

Anonymous said...

A few try-ons in store today. Cranberry in flux jacket is a beauty, very slightly tighter than my DSJ. I bought size 6, my size up and same as DSJ. I disliked the snake contrasting seam even more in person even though the luon is nice and thick. I tried 3 pairs of WUC in pretty plume since the pattern placement varied so much. They either had mostly white color in the butt area (sheer!) or too much dark color on the crops. On the other hand, the SE HT pants had very similar pattern placement as the online stock photos. I am between size 2 and 4 in bottom and took the size 4 beauty home.

Has anyone seen if the heathered cranberry CRB is the shiny fabric, or the thicker/softer material?

Anonymous said...

Echoing Anon 3:42's question - can anyone comment on the quality of the heathered cranberry CRB. Gross, poly like the other recent heathered versions or soft and nice (e.g. heathered deep coal, angel blue or earl grey)?

Anonymous said...

Thank you anon 11:23PM. I am anon 8:51PM. Called your strore and my size 8 is on the way! Thank you!!!!

Anonymous said...

anon 8/4@7:36

I bought my High Times *SE pretty plumes in the Corte Madera store (N. CA bay area). That's a smaller store, so assume the Union Street SF and Grant Street SF also received the High Times *SE pretty plumes.

The print was placed on every pair, so no variation of print placement to worry about! I feel like that's a 1st when it comes to prints. Very excited about that. Just wish Lulu would place prints consistently. I do know it is definitely more expensive as the fabric consumption goes way up...

I found no sheerness issue. But then I don't spend a lot of time bent over.

Anonymous said...

Did CAN get the herringbone scarf ?? I logged on to the upload early and never saw it :(!!

Anonymous said...

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but can anyone tell me what the difference is between "roll down" and "high rise" WUs? Loving the butterfly print but can't decide if they will fit like regular roll-downs.

Also, love reading that so many people DON'T size down in DSPs! I'm always between 6-8 in Lulu bottoms, and I always end up getting 8s in DSPs because the 6s are just a little too tight across the rear. They do stretch and 8s can be a little big, but better than small in these, IMHO. That said, I do prefer 6 in the lined DSPs. I guess the lining makes them more forgiving. In the 8 they are just too much pant!

OttawaLuluLover said...

I love the practice cotton wuc for everyday wear! So soft and comfy, you can wear them all year long and they go with everything!

Anonymous said...

Anonymous @7:48. Hopefully the 4's will fit. At least you can buy a 4. Lulu seems to neglect us long legged ladies and NEVER make fun color DSP's in Talls. They think all we wear is black. The regular length DSP's are even too short on the model in the photos! It's terrible!

Sara said...

OT but does anyones store have a pistachio CRB in a 6 or 8? I'm dying for one.
