Comparison: Grapefruit to Very Light Flare and Light Flare

Inside Light

Outside Light

My Grapefruit CRB came today. Here is it against the Very Light Flare Stripe in a Sea Wheeze CRB.

Light Flare, Grapefruit, and Very Light Flare in the stripes. This is taken in outside light.

I was surprised by how neon-y grapefruit is in person. The name implies a subtler, softer hue.

can you do a post on the jackets recall and pictures of which jackets are involved?

I didn't order it because I have light flare and they just seem to close to me. It love grapefruit and it would look lovely on me but I just couldn't decide if it was worth it. this confirms, they are just too close to justify it.

@ anon 5:44 pm - I did a post about the recall. I have a list of the jackets but no photos. I'll have to dig up the photos and/or put in links to the styles. http://www.luluaddict.com/2015/06/lululemon-recall.html

Thank you - I love grapefruit! Would love to see it next to pop orange as well and bleached coral, if you have the time. :)

LLA, do you like your what the sport tee mesh in blush quartz?
It is too sheer for me to pay full price even though l love how light the fabric is. I also received my RSYB in black/white stripe and flash. It is very pretty but I have a hard time finding tops to match it other than black and white. If the same color pattern comes out in the tank, I would be all over it.

I also bought a pair of high time pants in the cyber stripe silver fox after I called a couple of stores. The educator was so helpful and sent me a pair with stripes pretty closely lined up. The pants are made in the USA! If you are still interested, you may want to call around.

I wish I'd seen this comparison before I ordered the grapefruit top. It's lovely and soft, but i was really hoping it was more pink than orange. I already have CRB's in flare, pop orange, and tonka stripe flare. Too close to justify keeping, darnit!

I think I'm going to return my CRB. Nice color but not super versatile and kind of obnoxiously bright.

1 - Thank you for the color comparison! I own light flare, very light flare, bleached coral, and pop orange, so I probably don't need grapefruit. But I like it, sooooo maybe. :)

2 - WHY is the Stuff Your Bra not available in size 12 for the new colors on the US side??! Rude. I was really looking forward to getting some new cute ones since it's one of my favorite bras.

3 - Speaking of bras, has anyone else found their new Energy Bra in Ace Spot White Black really tight in their usual size? I ordered it in my normal size 12, like all my other lulu bras, and it feels like a 10. Same thing happened with my plum energy bra last year, or whenever that one came out. I'll be returning the ASWB and hoping that maybe the stores are carrying the Stuff Your Bra in size 12 AND that it fits like a 12. My wide ribcage and I are keeping our fingers crossed!

@Crash - I agree about the Stuff Your Bra in 12s not being available in the US. It's complete BS.

I have the Ace Spot White/Black Energy. It didn't feel super tight, particularly around the band, but I did think my boobs felt more held in place than on my older ones. I was wondering if that was because it's new.

@ anon 5:12 am - I am on the fence about the Blush Quartz What the Sport Mesh because it is on the sheer side. I made sure to buy it looser but it's still a bit sheer. I really like how light it feels, though. Like really, really like. I wore my black one again for a run in the gym and it just such a pleasant top to run in - so breathable, gives a little more coverage for the sun, and doesn't ride up. I was thinking of ordering the Grapefruit one to see if I like that better but I suspect I'll find it too neon.

I was excited for the grapefruit CRB and the fabric is nice and thick, but it is sooooo close to very light flare that I can't justify keeping it. I think I'm going to exchange it for the grapefruit speeds.

@ anon 11:06 pm - I agree - it's definitely very close to Very Light Flare.
