Mail Day - Heathered Lullaby Cool Racerback, Jeweled Magenta Swiftlys, Naval Blue Jacquard High Times, and Brushed Animal Inspires (Also, Paris Compared to Jeweled Magenta)

Today was a big mail day for me. Of all the things I ordered the Brushed Animal Inspires and Heathered Lullaby CRB are keepers and the rest is going back. The Jeweled Magenta Swiftlys are on the thin side - I could see the dark bra I had on underneath both of them. I also am developing an affinity for the space dye-style swiftlys. The Naval Blue/JM Diamond Jacquard High Times are very nice - soft, thick, compressive - but my ankles were kind of cold in them. I like to wear jacquard bottoms on our coldest days so I'd consider these again if they came in Wunder Under Pants. Some detail photos of things:

The Heathered Lullaby CRB is semi-silky feeling and not as thick as some of past heathered CRBs such as Smokey Rose or Tree Frog have been but it's decent. It's fully opaque.

Heathered Lullaby CRB compared to solid Lullaby CRB. If you are a Lullaby (periwinkle blue) fan, they're different enough to justify both.

Love the low-key logo.

What's the color code for the CRB? Next week I'm gonna put some feelers out to stores in LA/OC to see if any of them have it in a 12 cause I need it. Is it the same code as the swiftly?

Ho do the inspires fit? Are they lined with white? Opaque? Thanks!

Wish they would bring back Paris pink! Can anyone comment on their in flux jacket? I just picked it up in plum and am really on the fence about it! Ahhhhh I did love the dance studio!!!!

I thought the Jewelled Magenta looked different in person as well, I'm glad I didn't order anything in that colour. I got the heathered Lullaby CRB, Poseidon Power Y and the Iconic Wrap in grey. Unfortunately for my wallet they are all keepers!

Anon 7:43 AM - I bought the In Flux Jacket in 4 colours! I like it better than the Dance Studio jacket simply because it fits and flatters my body much better. I've tried the Dance Studio in store and never liked the way the huge elastic panel fit and looked on me, I have a shorter upper body/small waist/bigger butt and boobs and tops normally always end up bunching up around my waist and it just wasn't a good look for me in the Dance Studio. The In Flux is actually my newest Lulu favourite and had to have it 4 colours! I did take my next size up from my usual, and it is still fitted and figure flattering but has a better fit over my bust (even though I could zip up my normal size ok too thanks to the stretchy fabric) Also, even though I say it fits and looks much better on me because of my shorter upper body, the jacket is still quite long and bunches up, it just doesn't look bad when it bunches up around my waist.

Thanks for the comparisons of jeweled magenta. I live in Hawaii, so I actually prefer the thinner swiftlys. I have the heathered harbor blue and while I love the color, it's a bit thicker than I prefer. I bought the long sleeve and tank jeweled magenta swiftlys and I'm keeping them both! :)

Wait the in flux jackets go on sale. Most of people don't like them as much as the DSJ, because they are not as faltering as DSJ, especially around the waist area. That's what I would say.

Re: the Jacquard High Times' length, while I might have preferred a full length pant instead of the 7/8" length of the High Times. I am SO keeping these. When it's cold enough for full length, heavier weight pants, I sometimes like to wear my open heeled socks or leg warmers(e.g., the Mind Your Practice Leg Warmers, currently available in WMTM,) so the fact that they aren't full length isn't a problem at all for this Lulu addict. It just means I wear other favorite pieces of my Lulu collection with them. :)

Got my diamond jacquard High Times and they are awesome but going back - part of my (attempting to be minimalist) pregnancy size-up stock-up, and i can already tell (at 17 weeks into second pregnancy) that the waist on the High Times is going to be annoying pretty soon. i'm going to stick with roll-down WUs instead. hope that helps any other mamas-to-be who want to have some lulu comfort beyond the first trimester! (i'm just getting uncomfortable in my regular size, and my size-up is definitely too big, but i think i'm going to be happy i have them.)
sort of tempted to order some of those High Times in my regular size to save for later, but am trying to be sensible.

That heathered lullaby is gorgeous! I only have the heathered lullaby swiftly that came out last year. Too bad I missed this crb.

I LOVE the In Flux jacket. I thought I loved my Dance Studios, but honestly I think the Flux is way more flattering, not to mention more versatile and more comfortable, too! I have it in three colors now and adore all of them.
