Run For Days Bra. I ordered this to try. I am always on the lookout for a good bra style. UPDATE - OMG! I didn't look at the price when I ordered this. It's more than a Ta Ta Tamer, at $64. This better make my rack look spectacular. ;-)
Run For Days Tank. I'll wait to try this in the store.

Well it looks like another big Eff U to customers in the US. No pigment wave multi, not a single item. And no, I don't want to pay $98 for your run for days crops Lulu, especially when they don't even have side pockets.
Nothing for me tonight. So disappointed with the offerings on the US side. And what the heck is up with those light speed crops? They look like moths ate holes in them. Who is wearing stuff like that to work out in? I just wonder because I am one of those need to get a life people who live in the gym, and I've never seen anyone wearing anything like that. Not to mention, I would snag those putting them on. My time is limited, who the heck has the time to take 10 minutes putting on each leg of their pants ever so carefully???
The Run For Days ls is $98! What! WHAT?!
@ anon 4:23 pm - I know! I was thinking I'd like it but not at that price. I'll wait for it to hit WMTM.
US ecommerce is definitely the red-headed step child of lulu these days...Big snore.
LLA has the Charming Braid Twist headband been uploaded to the U.S. yet? I've been on a trip and missed the last 2 uploads. Anyone know and can fill me in? Thanks
I just got the var-city crops in all black. It says "smooth luxtream", that sounds comfy. But I do miss the old Lululemon when everything was the same luxtream and there was no guess about the material.
so annoying, prices have gone up! all my crops used to be $86... now theyre $98!! Also, since when does lulu charge different prices for different patterns of the same item... not impressed.
The prices of the Run For Days line are absurd. I wanted to try the tank but not for that price. Nothing for me today.
I'm waiting for something else in the multi print, too.
Some nice items, but no must haves tonight.
That's probably a good thing; I still haven't gotten my order from last week.
I got those Var-City crops to try for yoga. I don't run but I need some new crops and I like luxtreme, plus no zipper pocket. Although I got the electric coral top version and I won't probably have anything to match them. I am dying for a new CRB, in anything, solid, strip, pattern. I tried SRB didn't work for me. Even went to my closest store for the plum color, didn't have it.
I tried on the run for days. The band was extremely snug in my normal size and when I sized up the leg hem was far too loose. Also the leg ruching wasn't very comfortable. Much prefer inspires. Especially once I caught site of the price tag
Nothing for me either, was going to check out Run for Days tank but not at that price.
I was hoping for new pace rival skirts in tall sizes! :( disappointing!
Bought both new FTBW bras in store today, the back scoop tank in bumble berry & the run all day bra in regal plum. Really looking forward to trying it =)
I was disappointed by the upload on the Canadian site.. last week you guys in the US got a few things (like the ultra violet On the daily hoodie), that I thought we'd get this week.. but nada.. =( and still no principle tank or stuff your bra.. Lululemon doesn't want my money, I am guessing.
@ anon 4:52 pm - I haven't noticed them but I see tonight there are new Flow Into Crow headbands. Have you tried them? They are very comfy. I use them for around the house when I need to keep the hair out of my eyes. For exercise, I am liking my Swiftly headbands. I put on a Bangbuster the other day and felt like my head was being smothered. lol
Just like so many have already said, Lulu might as well just close down their U.S. ecommerce side, because they obviously don't give a DAMN about us. Why do we keep tuning in? This is like 2 months straight of pure crap on the U.S. Side. I really don't know why I bother any more...
I got the iridescent speeds. I refuse to buy crops (especially not for $96-98 wtf) that don't have side pockets. I only have one pair but they are lovely for holding my phone during races!
Still no electric coral Free to be Wild bra. Come on!
Disappointing upload for Canada too. It looks like the UK and other areas are getting all the good stuff. You would think that a Canadian made company whose foundation clients are Canada & US would make those customers a priority. Guess not. Nothing for me either. This is spring, not fall for colours, and prices are getting ridiculous.
Can someone explain why people like the var city crops? It appears to have this mesh panel that runs up the side leg all the way to the waistband. So couldn't people then see your undies through that panel? I guess most don't care about that as people have been able to see others undies through non-mesh Lulu pants for ages? I'm confused. There are so many running crops out there, why settle for something like this?
Would have bought the Run for Days LS if it weren't $98. None of the stuff I really wanted was uploaded. Can't say I'm sad about not spending the money.
I noticed today that a few of lulu new prints are pretty much taken from Helmut Lang. http://www.helmutlang.com/helmut-lang-all/all-items,default,sc.html
Nothing for me from tonight's upload. Saw that the beautiful Blue Tropics chevron patterned swiftly tank was almost sold out (only 2's and 4's left now,) so I went ahead and grabbed that from my Wish List.
Here's hoping that those fabulous Pigment Wave High Times show up next week, because they're #1 on my "Need It" list, together with Inspires in this same print. I can tell I'm not going to be tired of Pigment Wave, and will look forward to having multiple pieces to wear. I'll probably track down a pair of the Speeds in the Pigment Wave print tomorrow.
I'm also waiting for the Regal Plum In the Flows.
I'd been thinking I'd at least get the Iridescent Multi pattern in the Speeds, because I wear so much blue/green/purple, but the more I see of this print, the less I like it. I'll be passing on it entirely.
Seems to me with all of the fall-ish colors being released (cadet, bumble berry, etc.) that the US port resolution is spelling out later release of fall stuff we should've had to buy last Oct.-Jan.
I was disappointed that the Pigment Wave items and new Weekend LS colors didn't upload. And where is the Electric Coral FTBW? Something to look forward in the coming weeks, I guess! I got the Iridescent Multi Speeds. The Deep Camo Run for Days crops are intriguing, but at $98, I couldn't pull the trigger.
What are the gray shorts that the model is wearing with the butter pink crb? TIA!
I don't see how you all manage to walk away without buying much. I ended up with 11 items! Always hopeful some will be returned, but doesn't seem to happen often.
@OttawaLuluLover - really? Lululemon doesn't want your money? Didn't you just spend over $200 worth of products? 2 free to be bra's, a tank and another bra. Come on now, looks like Lululemon has no problem taking your money.
I bought the camo Run for Days LS and the black Run for Days SS. They better be the best tops ever bc those prices are sky high, but they looked nice enough to try...I'm a sucker for silverescent.
Tempted by the black varsity crops, and the navy keep it cool crops, but after those two tops, I've spent more than enough.
I didn't buy anything online tonight but did find the Regal Plum Energy bra in my local Lulu tonight and purchased it..I am in the Chicagoland area. I also finally got my Var-City Tanks that I ordered online as my store never got them and I love them..Looser fitting in the body while holding good shape around my shoulders and underarm area in my TTS and great length and looks great with an energy bra underneath. I think these will be great for my everyday spin obsession !
I am intrigued by the Iridescent multi inspire crops uploaded on the Canadian side. My US store got the brushed animal print inspire crops..I tried them on and liked them more than I thought..I'll wait on them but may have to buy them at some point.
The Bumble Berry scoop Back Tank is pretty but I feel this was one of those pieces that got stuck out in a cargo ship and is being released much later than it should have..here's hoping for an early WMTM showing , LOL
@ anon 7:19 pm - heat wave is totally like the helmut lang stuff. Lululemon is definitely following all pantone color and fashion print trends a lot more closely than they did a few years ago.
@Chezhire71 - iridescent multi is too greenish for my preferences. However, that being said, I'll probably order the Inspires when they show up, just to try. I ended up taking back the Studio Racerback in the print. I think the print is too overwhelming as a top.
@ anon 7:51 pm - I think they might be the heathered slate boogie shorts.
@ anon 7:51 pm - what did you get? I thought Canada got a decent amount of cute stuff tonight - the Regal Plum CRB, the Pigment Wave trackers, the new Weekend LS tops (I really love the one I got), the Ghost Weave love tee, etc.
@ lulu - the Brushed Animal Inspires are on my wish-to-try-on list. My store had them this weekend but not in my size. Not sure if they come in a 12, I am kind of doubting it since they're a lighter color. What color Var City tanks did you order? I really like the heathered slate one I bought.
@LLA I got the electric coral, sea mist and black..in the Var-city tank..Did you get the tank or the muscle tank? The tank has the perforated stretchy material like the 1/2 sleeve and has the 2 snaps down the center at the neck line..I love them all and will keep them all I am pretty sure :)
I thought I saw the inspire crop in a 12 at my store but will double check..I've been thinking about them since trying them on which means I'll probably have to buy them in the next week or so, LOL
Oops, I meant the muscle tank. I haven't tried the regular tank on yet. I am hoping to visit the store tomorrow and need to remember to try it.
What is up with the OUTRAGEOUS prices of the items in the Run for Days line? Holy crap!
I finally got the Black Run All Day backpack I've been waiting for for ages! Will keep the tags in case I see the black gray print one in store on in next week's upload. Also picked up the maxi dress; my crop length dresses from last time are some of my weekend favorites and I love the slit. I returned my Electric Coral WUCs (suuuper sheer) and my varcity tank yesterday... Still waiting for a muscle tank I like. Saw the principle tank and just can't justify how delicate it is for the price. I did pick up the fresco blue LS swiftly - the color is so gorgeous in person and on blondes in the photos you posted. I need something else in EC to match my FTBW that I picked up in my US store a few weeks ago... Any ideas?
@Karin - I know! I am reading a lot of pushback on the price of those items. I think it's the silver in the pieces that are causing them to be higher priced but lots of people are unhappy. Hopefully, a white-sticker adjustment will be coming soon.
I almost got the regal plum flow y but I changed my mind because I heard the fit has been off. Is it true, LA, that the flow y is thin, long and baggy now?
@ anon 9:54 pm - Yeah, I don't like the cut of the Flow Ys anymore. I find the straps don't seem to do as great a job holding me up and the front seems lower and the armpits lower, too. I'm not sure about it being longer. I have an older flow Y, I'll have to bring it to the store with me and take some comparison photos.
I got the iridescent inspire tights and speeds...I too returned the studio tank...too yellow casted for me. Hoping at a minimum, the sppeds will work. Curious to see the bring in luxtreme vs luon.
Was in two stores b4 the upload so able to snag a good print placement in the pigment multi speeds. It's tough b/c the pattern repeat is so large. I tried on and bought the pigment multi Sculpt Tank b/c the print placement was great. I'm waiting for the high times pant in same pattern.
I got the brushed animal inspires and love them. I also LOVE the Var-City Muscle tank in heathered slate. Great style! May go back for sea mist.
I think the Run For Days Tank looks great...will have to check it out in the stores.
opted to buy the colorful backpack from Hong Kong and will pick it up from my hotel when there next week. :D. Love this backpack and decided I can't live without it. I don't technically have any backpacks other than my traveling back pack. Lots of bags though.
Trying to decide if the bumbleberry scoop back is worth purchasing. I like this top for traveling and not yoga. I already ordered the black cherry. won't get it fro a long time though.
I didn't buy anything online, but I did a charge send for the pigment wave multi speeds. After seeing how fast the trackers sold in Canada, I don't feel like stalking the upload or visiting my store, only to have all the size 6 speeds sold. The charge send process was easy... too easy!
I got the Pigment Wave Trackers, Lullaby dot FTBW & the Butter Pink CRB :)
I was, and still am, hoping for a Sea Mist CRB & Iridescent Multi Trackers.
Nothing for me. I generally don't buy on upload. But last Friday I got the Butter Pink CRB (wonderfully soft and thick) in store, along with the FTBW star crushed silver fox deep navy/black/silver fox - which just arrived in my store Toronto and online, Canada).
They also had the two new FTBW in this upload, which are a pass for me. However, the ace spot lullaby black/lullaby version is quite nice in person. The dottie dash one - meh.
@ Anon 7:51: easy for me to not buy that much. LLL design appeal, quality have gone down, imo in the past few years. Most items out now and in recent years have zero appeal to me. I never buy with "oh I can always return it" in mind. I have always been very selective and buy only my very favourite items (now only FTBW and CRB). I do keep the tags on for 2 weeks because I occasionally change my mind. I use to buy a lot of Speed Shorts but sold most of them. In fact I sold off A LOT of my stuff and I suppose I took on the "dragon" haha. Even though I am very active and workout hardcore (5-6 days a week), there is only so much time I have to wear my stuff. EVEN if I rotate it all. I honestly found it embarrassing and appalling how much I had. I kept my most favourite items only. I don't miss anything I sold. It was very liberating. I know now--and I know more experienced people already do it--the way to go is that you have to regularly rotate items out and sell locally or ebay. And I have always considered myself a modest shopper compared to remarks I've read on here! When someone (in the past) says that they have 30 scubas, that's insane. Yes it's your money etc., but sorry it is insane (fully aware of judgment).
@ anon 4:00 pm - re: the light speed crops. I wonder how well the Light Speed Line did. My store had a mini warehouse sale this weekend and they had Light Speed LS tops on clearance for $29.
@ anon 4:28 am - Interesting. Those of us who have large collections, often have VERY large collections where we can get away with not doing laundry for a couple of months at a time. I need to do a massive sale of stuff I am not wearing anymore but just haven't found the time to start listing stuff. Have you moved to another brand or are just working with a more spare lululemon collection?
Hi LLA,
Re your comment above at 8:20. Did Canada really get a regal plum CRB or was that a typo and meant to say FlowY. I am hoping for a regal plum CRB but didnt see it on the Cdn side, unless it sold out really fast? Thanks for clarifying!
@ anon 7 am - I meant Power Y, not CRB. Nobody got the CRB, though the tank is in US stores now. So sorry for the typo.
Hey everyone! : )
Does any know if the Var-City Long Line Bra made it to Canada? In store or on line?
I checked my store the other day and didn't see anything....so I am not sure if I missed it or it sold like hot cakes.
Thanks in advance!! I am soooo dying to try it!!! :D
I have a relatively large collection of FTB and CRB because I wear them to work every single day and don't want to repeat too often. But not doing laundry for months!? I still wash regularly so the sweat and dirt don't cling. Not to mention to keep the shape.
I bought the FTB in the brown and white stripe in store yesterday. They are totally hiding all the FTBs at the bottom of the FTBW rack and I even found a few shoved in with the Power Y bras. So sad they are taking this style for granted. PLEASE don't phase it out, LLL!
Lol, Alin. I *could* probably get away with not doing laundry for a couple of months but I don't. It's hard enough for me to keep up with the household laundry on a weekly basis. ;-)
Minnesota got a regal plum CRB and a power Y. I tried it on but opted for a swiftly tank instead. It is a wee stripe with the color code HRGP. Really soft. Best sleeveless swiftly I own.
@ Anonymous 7:15 am
I was just in the West Edmonton Mall store today, and they haven't even heard about the Var-City Long Line Bra. I'm hoping for it too!
We got the Var-City Long line bra at my local lulu (in the states) and I purchased one initially but after getting it home and revisiting the fit ..it was a super difficult bra to get on and take off as the band is pretty fitted and not all that forgiving..so nice once on me but I don't rock my bras alone they are always under something so I just decided I would not gravitate toward wearing since its a difficult one to put on :)
@LLA - have you ever written a post on how to sell your old lulu gear? guidelines on what sites/forums, how to price, expectations, etc. would be awesome and super duper useful.
Do you think the US will get the pigment wave high times?! I would love those.
Cherry picked my Pigment Wave Multi Speeds today in my local store (shipment arrived today!) and am so happy I did that instead of ordering @ upload and hoping for pretty pattern placement.
The pairs my store received all varied greatly.
I got a gorgeous pair with lots of pretty color "marbelling," and no distinct/large patches of white or plum.
Picked up the Regal Plum CRB, too.
@ Shannon - I haven't but I probably should. I'll give you a quickie tutorial here. I like eBay myself. I like it for the protections and anonymity. There are a number of Facebook groups - like lulu 911, lululemon exchange, lululemon trading post, lululemon bidding battles, the unicorn bidding field. bidding wars, etc. If you search facebook you should turn up quite a number. However, in the groups you will tend to encounter more scammers. Ebay is a lot more systematic about weeding those people out. You also have to be aware that people's definitions of conditions - e.g., EUC - Excellent Used Condition - or other terms of vary greatly. I try to buy NWT - New With Tag - or NWOT - New Without Tag and I am not surprised when a NWOT shows signs of slight wear. I search ebay for competed listings to gauge the selling prices of items. People in the facebook groups will try and bargain you down. They are usually looking for deals. As for eBay, set your protections as high as you can - only can have two unpaid item strikes, etc. It weeds out a lot of pains in the asses. Anyone who messages me commenting on my price in a douchey way goes on my block list. I only sell in the US. The Canadian dollar has take a beating against the US and I cannot handle the stress worrying whether my package has made it safely to Canada. I read a lot of Canada Post horror stories so I've stopped selling to Canada. That being said, I've sent dozens and dozens of packages to Canada and never had a lost package. However, "lost" packages are a common scam. There are enough buyers in the US that it really hasn't impacted me too much. Prepare your clothes as you would like to receive them - freshly washed, lint rolled. Send stuff quickly and package it well. I hate when people use paper envelopes to send stuff. I like using the free padded flat rate envelopes the USPS will send to you. The rate is really not that much more than sending first class. If you have a hot item, it will probably go quickly but not so popular stuff like Power Ys might take a few re-listings to sell but it will eventually.
Oh yes, the lower you price stuff, the more you will attract pain in the ass bargain hunters so don't lowball your own stuff. You will regret it.
I'm not being mean, bargain hunters can turn into real pests and they will open claims against you to get partial refunds on fake "not as described condition" issues. Avoid them at all costs. Take lots of photos of your items as a precaution. A lot of the bargain hunters on the FB groups are flippers that will take the deal you give them and sell it higher elsewhere. That is frowned against in the groups and cause for removal but it happens all the time.
One last thing, I think it's always good to understate the condition of something, i..e., I mean be more negative about it if it's fairly well used. If you've worn something like three times and it's looks like new, by all means say that. But, if you've worn it a bunch, it can never hurt to point out all the flaws - small stain here, some pilling in the crotch, some sueding under the arm, a little fading on the cuffs. If you are very up front about condition, people won't make claims against you. However, if you say something is EUC and it has a lot of obvious wear, like pilling in the crotch, people will be mad at you and come back for a refund.
@Chezhire71 - Nice. I was hoping I'd see the Pigment Wave Multi Trackers today in my store but no luck. I did pick up the Scuplt in that print. I ordered it last night in my size down but I tried it on today and I definitely need my TTS.
Amen!
I'm a member of many of the selling groups listed above and have been for several months. I have yet to post anything for sale however because I've been scared away by posts about non payment or other issues. For example, someone posts an item for sale, a bidder wins it and then the poster removes it mysteriously (ie they didn't get the price they really wanted so backed out of the deal or where people win items and then they back out of the deal for some mysterious reason). It's all too shady for me to deal with. As much as I want to unload some old items to fund the purchase of new items I just can't bring myself to deal with the bs! I'm actually considering some of the upscale consignment shops in my area to see what I can get for some of my items. Probably not as much but at least I don't have to worry about packing items up and shipping them.
@ LLA 6:32 AM, living with a smaller collection. I still have a lot in my opinion. The most of which is CRBs but I did cull through those as well and sold what was not getting worn/selected. I didn't need as many WUs as I had; some I wasn't even wearing. I even had brand new Dance Studio pants that I didn't wear or choose often as I prefer the Quick Step pant when I want to wear that type of pant. Running crops and speed shorts, again I just had way too many. Plus jackets. I got so tired of seeing some of these items and saying to myself: how much does one person "need"? and, why are you hanging on to all of this?
I was tough on myself as to what I would keep and what would go. It actually didn't feel hard once I decided to just do it. And again, I still feel I have a decent amount of gear and of course continue to buy select items.
I was happy to see the new owners get their stuff and be pleased with their purchase(s). I sold locally and had good experiences for the most part. No one really low balled me (and I didn't post for exorbitant prices) and my stuff was in perfect condition. Most people who were seriously interested were great about meeting up/paying and with communication in general. The hardest part of it all was the time to take pictures, post the ads, answer emails, meet up. Overall it's time consuming but I got into a rhythm.
Thanks for the above ebay advice/tips. I haven't taken on ebay but something I have been thinking about.
@LLA have you tried eBay's new Global shipping option? I have used it for some recent listings and have had success..it makes it easier on the seller as the seller ships domestically to their international facility in KY where they take it from there..That said someone from Canada won 3 pairs of Dance studio pants from me..the auctions ended Sunday and I have only been paid for one pair so far. When I sent a message requesting payment timing they responded with some kind of Paypal glitch that wasn't allowing payment to go through..I was going to give them till Friday before opening a non payment claim..they have really high positive feedback too . Boo..we all have the eBay horror stories and I have had a handful..it always makes me stop for a while..but I still think eBay is the best way to go, especially for us Addicts that have to purge sometimes!
@lulu- My husband has used the Global Shipping but I haven't. I think I've read non-US people complaining that the duties and shipping prices are super high through that program. I don't want to get bad feedback for using it, though I could probably get it removed.
@ anon 5:47 pm - Making the listing - photos and writing it up are the toughest part for me. I need to make a goal of listing three things a day and go from there.
@ anon 5:32 pm - I have bought off the FB groups (NWT, though) but never sold in them. Try eBay. I've never really had a problem there. They have it set up pretty well in terms of feedback about sellers - if people back out too many times, make too many claims, they get dinged. There are scammers there but I think it's more work for people to get away with it.
Yes there is a sculpt tank!
Totally OT but does anyone have a review of the breezie regal plum roll down WUC? Just ordered them in a size up as a pregnancy treat and wonder how they do in action. Too hot?
(Placed my first order in months but nothing from the upload!)
5:32 a lot of the consignment places will not buy sporting clothing unless it still has the tags, the same with bathing suits.
7:19 you are so right about the designs and fabric patterns.
