The Hot to Street is for hot yoga. I don't think I'll be getting anything from this line.
Lucky Canada!
I can't decide whether I like the Heat Wave print or not.
My store has not received any new Swiftly tops in awhile. Not sure what is going on with that.

No Pigment Wave Inspires for US? :(
I'm hoping they weren't featured in What We Love but we'll be getting them anyway but who knows. I would think they're coming soon.
I was thinking that exact thought about the heat wave print, like I'm not sure if I like it. I like that CRB from the back, but the front view looks weird, I think because I generally like things that are symmetrical and the front is all sorts of unsymmetrical. I may get a CRB in this print if I find one where the pattern flows better.
Fug! Hoping the pigment wave waits a bit. Need my melting credit card to cool off. Plus I just paid a poop load to Uncle Sam. Bad timing...
OT - My hubs thought it was hilarious that I spotted the Hit Your Stride skirt in white on Zoey Deschanel while doing her ridiculous golfing on New Girl.
Oh my. That hot to street line...it seems like a belated April Fools joke...
Nothing of interest to me again. So tired of everything in mesh, enough already!
I have a GEC question for y'all. I ordered that cute black leotard on MD, and it had a smallish hole in the middle of the stomach. I'm getting grief about returning the item for a refund. I thought Lulu had gotten better about standing behind their quality. However, this the is the text that I received after pushing the matter:
"I can make a one time exception and process a return back to your original method of payment, however, going forward please know that all items purchased on markdown in the 'we made too much' section are a final sale and all issues with quality concerns or damages do get exchanged or processed onto a gift card."
Really? Is this just because I'm talking to a late night GE, or is this normal?
@ anon 10:56 pm - That seems wrong that they'd sell you damaged stuff like that. You might want to post your story on their facebook page and embarrass them a little. Also, you never get the same answer twice from the GEC. I cannot believe that is the policy - that you have to suck being sold a damaged item, sight unseen. The sale section is called WE MADE TOO MUCH - it says nothing about being damaged.
@ anon 10:56: that really stinks. I have had 2 occasions where what I ordered on WMTM did not measure up to what it was supposed to (last item was a pace setter listed as 4way, tag on it clearly said 2way) I called, they apologized, sent return info and waived shipping. Also refunded $ to paypal. Here I thought their customer service had completely improved. Now it seems it is just a matter of who you talk to. That is not acceptable. Even more insulting when you receive a damaged item. Grrr...
In terms of GEC at lulu, my personal policy is if I get a GEC who is rude or isn't listening to what I have to say, I call back until I get someone who is more understanding. It takes a few tries,
but it works for me, being patient helps as well.
The one thing I haven't gotten through with is asking to PLEASE not send any more lulu shopping bags with my shipments.
M
I interpret it differently. They will give a gift card no problem or do an exchange but they will not do refunds. I think that's fair. I'm sure some people abuse the policy so at least in reselling another product it does not cost as much.
@ anon 10:56 (& LLA & everyone)--weird that the GEC educator said that. Stores have been trained to take back any quality issue--real or perceived--of any item. WMTM literally has nothing to do with it.
That being said, I can see why in stores they'd urge you to exchange it rather than give you cash back or even a gift car (both of the latter will go "against" their daily sales measures). But if you insist on money back to your card, they'll surely agree. Or rather, they're trained to.
Can we just have some *regular* items in some fun colours, how about a crb tank in pigment wave multi or wunder under crop in ele. coral. Not the new hot to street things with all the mesh mesh, those shorts will definitely catch lots of attention, bad ones though. I am just glad another zero Lulu Lemon cost week ahead.
I agree with anon@8:46AM.
Did I miss savasana wraps in the US?
Hot to Street Pant - I'm sorry, what is the appeal here? This looks like someone put on pantyhose and then pulled on shorts. I wear pantyhose when necessary but I do not enjoy it (despite the fact that I'll only wear Calvin Klein pantyhose which are very comfortable) so why would I want to emulate this look? An no, I would never wear these to hot yoga.
Don't get me started on this nylony football material jacket. ick.
The good news for me is that since everything LLL is releasing right now is ugly, I am not in the least tempted and my money is safe.
Thanks for all your hard work as usual LLA. I still like being informed and knowing what is out there.
@ 10:56 - I had a quality issue with one of their tops - wool long sleeve henley from a couple years ago - and they gave me a refund without a problem. They sort of waffled between a gift card or cash but the comment of one Ed to the other was "it's up to you". I preferred the refund as I was not sure when I would buy LLL again (haha though am generally a moth to a flame). I wasn't pushy about it.
I had another item that I changed my mind on due to the sizing and it was actually marked down, which is normally final sale. However, they did take it back (unused, unworn) and gave me a gift card. They were going to reorder it online for me instead of doing the gift card but they had a problem with the online order. I ended up using the gift card for the very same item in the different size at another store.
I'm in Canada if that helps. I think the return policy is overall better but you may still have some stores that aren't so customer friendly about it.
