Were the cyber stripe high times zip pant spotted in Canadian stores?!
The FTB Wild gets all the fun fabrics and colors. Everyone is wearing FTBW, it doesn't look special anymore. Not just because I don't like it, but they've made too many. I can't believe it's still snowy in places. Sending sunshine from Cali to all you poor winterbound folks!
Is that a new Bhakti Yoga Jacket???
@Alin - sorry but I think you're In the minority re: FTBW no longer *looking special.*.
I'm thrilled Lulu is now producing this amazing bra as a STAPLE/CORE item, and that it is more available for all Lulu lovers, as its fit & functionality is superb for many Lulu fans, including yours truly.
As an avid triathlete, I'm not into Lulu items due to their *scarcity,* but for their fit/functionality.
@Christine- those photos are from a Quebec store.
OT- I'm hunting down the petite fleur WUC. Can anyone advise on the sizing? I heard the denim fits tighter. I swear I'm a size 5 in WUCs (I own several in size 4 but they don't always pass the bend over sheer test. The 6 is usually a little baggy though). Thanks!
The fleur were TTS for me.
OT - has anyone been frustrated with how it's so hard to check gift card balances online? I keep getting the "breathe deeply" message and have to call the GEC to find out my balance. It's so annoying!

Denim was strange in a way that when you try it new, it is really tight, tighter than normal. However, after washing my milky ways, beachscape, and black camo, about 6 times, they are just normal, not even compressive when you put them on. I would not size up. Denim is less sheer, more hot, and darker colors collect more lint. Also, they are prone to pilling which is more noticeable with darker colors. Petit fleur though is a good choice- small pattern is slimming, covers lumps and bumps, and lint will not be noticeable on it. I would probably get size 4 if I were you.
Chezire71, I know I'm in the minority because I'm the only one around here *not* wearing a FTBW. Lulu is known for limiting items to keep them special which was the point of my comment. I wonder why they are choosing to flood the market with this particular item. I'm bitter of course, I wish it were a product I loved! :)
wow --the clear mint shorts look super see through -- you can totally tell where the liner is --
I purchased the Trail Bound Tank in black and wore it to spin this AM and I love it..fit is TTS. I also found out that many of the Florida stores received the High Times *Zips and sold out in a day..I called every one of them and they were all gone..Here's hoping they end up in stores in the midwest!!!
I also got to see some of the Var-City line that was shown in Kaitlin's What we love and the short sleeve top was ok but a little short IMO in my TTS and the size up was a bit longer but sloppy in the shoulder arm-pit area. They also got one of the tanks in a size 10..I tried it on and surprisingly liked it although I would need a size down. It was the minty green color. The Var-City Bomber was cuter than other bomber's they've come out with and the fit was good in my TTS, Pocket placement much better but the baseball stitching on the back was a little weird ..I am like WTH..I don't get this direction that Lulu is going, very strange.
They also got the On the Daily Hoodie in both the Black cherry or Bordeaux and the space die gris which has a lot of blue in it..I pulled the trigger on the space die gris..couldn't resist but I certainly don't need another hoodie, LOL
@Alin 100% agree! I've never really been a fan of the FTBW in the first place though. In my opinion it gives the appearance of manly shoulders.
Also, you'd think you insulted the *avid triathlete* personally with that reaction. Good grief not everyone will share the same likes and dislikes
Not sure if @1:05's asterisks were meant to belittle avid triathlete, but I think Avid was just trying to give people a frame of reference for where her opinion was coming from. i.e. if you're mainly just shopping Lulu for street wear (which a lot people do), you may not be purchasing for function.
I can't wear the free to be wild or the free to be bra. They are too low cut and have 0 support for a person with 34DD. i can't even wear those for yoga as I end up hanging all over the place.
I wish the bra for the free to be wild tank would come out as just a bra in all the awesome patterns and colors as the free to be.

@alison, wth your perception 'manly shoulders' with the ftbw. Give me a break.
I tried on the hawk blue WUCs today and they were just okay for me. One reason was the seam; it may not appear to contrast very much in photos but in person it was noticeable enough to turn me off. Also the color is nothing special, I already own a pair of In the Flows that is nearly identical to it in color, although I don't recall what the name of the blue was since Lulu seems to have made several blue In the Flows in the past couple years. I know there are people out there who really like them, but I don't get it.
The regal plum/black cherry patterned WUCs, however, were off the charts awesome for me. And the best part is, my store had it in the roll down version. Double score. You have to be a bit careful picking out the pattern though if you don't like contrasting seams. Some pairs have a lot of contrast whereas others have little to none. It depends where the pattern lies, whether the back seam goes over the black cherry part or the regal plum part. (The seam is regal plum)
Regal plum looks great with clear mint. It reminds me of tender violet. I ordered the clear mint crb yesterday and am excited to receive it. It will pretty much go with every pair of inspires I own. I also have a pair of tender violet reversible WUCs from a few years ago and will be anxious to see how it pairs with them since I haven't worn them in a long time.
I also like the trail bound tank since it has higher coverage but only in the solid colors. It will be good for summer when you don't want your chest area exposed to too much sun.
@ Alin, I get it that you don't like the FTBW, but regardless, it's still *special* to those of us who do love it. Like all things Lulu, it'll be something new around the corner, and then we'll all want that new thing, too. ;)
@Allison, whether or not someone likes an item of Lulu has nothign to do with it still *looking special,* it looks special to those of us who love it, and of course we all love different things, ergo the new uploads of different colors in so many items each week (which seem to sell out so fast, the FTBW included, ha.)

I went to my local store this past weekend and purchased a pair of Clear Mint speeds with a Heathered Grey waistband. They are a touch on the sheer side. The liner lines are a little visible but I didn't notice much of it because in the size I buy I can almost always see that line a bit because the liner is so tight.
I also purchased the all over Electric Coral FTBW which is beautiful and bright in person.
