Upload!

It's up - get it here. Pics to follow.

Canada got the Sugar Crush Multi Power Y.

The US got a Vintage Pink Studio Racerback. I ordered this.

Both sides got the new Roll Down Groove IIs, though Canada got size 12s in the colors and the US did not. I ordered the Heathered Black Grooves via my Canadian connection.

Canada got a bunch of new colors in the Swiftly SS - Black Cherry (think I would like this in a LS), Star Crush Deep Navy, Gully Green, and Star Crush Milkshake.

New Clear Mint and Black Cherry Swiftly Tanks (CAN).

Clear Mint (CAN) and Harbor Blue (US & CAN) Swiftly LS

Black Cherry Star Crush print Pace Pusher Crops

Blushed Illusion and Star Crush print Inspire Crops

Heathered Black/Blue Tropics Inspire Tights

Star Crush Top Speed Crop in Black and Black Cherry

Deep Navy Moody Mirage Free to Be Wild Bra. I ordered this print in the Energy Bra last week.

Canada got the Retreat bra.

Heathered Blue Tropics Adjustable All Sport Bra

Canada got the Retreat Short. These look comfy but they stop at a ten.

Canada got the tencel Varsity shorts.

Black Cherry Run Times and Speed Shorts

The Namaskar Pant IIs were uploaded. These are made of swift. I ordered a pair of these, too. I hated the shiny luon ones but I am hoping these will be perfect for summer.

The US got the Fatigue On the Daily Hoodie. I thought I wanted this but after seeing the Space Dye Gris one the UK got earlier today I think I'll hold out for that one.

Fatigue and Silver Fox Fo Drizzle. I wouldn't mind one of these jackets but I'll take my chances on trying to pick these up on markdown.

Sweat to Street Hobo. I am so tempted to order this.

Canada got the Runaway Retreat Duffel

Canada got the Hip to Be Free bag.

We got the Tranquility pants - yay. :P

I did some decent damage tonight - Heathered Black Grooves, Namaskar Pants, and Studio Racerback - did you get anything?

Don't have to waste your time....nothing to buy...again. They really must be phasing out the crb :(

Moody mirage ftbw been waiting for you!

Not a bad upload IMO. I ordered Inspires in Blushed Illusion, new reversible WUC In Clear mint,Singlet in Blue Tropics and white Vinyasa I missed in the store. And this after promising myself not to buy anything for at least 2 weeks!!

I keep scrolling through the new items over and over trying to find something to buy. Good time to take a step back.

Blah upload. Nothing for me.
Considering the Heathered Black Groove 2.0 pants.

I'm still waiting for the US upload of the Roll Down WUP *Zips in Cyber Stripe Silver Fox that Australia got weeks ago ... and the Black Cherry/Electric Coral Wild tank Canada got last week ... or how about some Roll Down WUP in the awesome looking Hazy Horizon Storm Mauve Bark Berry & Sugar Crush (white, and not see-through, please) prints.

Wore my Heathered Blue Tropics f105 tank from last year, with its lovely scallop detailing yesterday to my barre class. Just noticing that Lulu has done away with this pretty, feminine detailing on the f105 singlet. Boo, Lulu. No more f105 singlets for me until they bring this detail back. If I wanted any old, regular looking finished/seamed tank for $52, I'd go shop at the numerous other sports clothing retailers...

and p.s. Lulu: where are the beautiful SOLID BLUE TROPICS speeds? Why did they fool around with the gorgeous Blue Tropics color/pattern and produce what appears to be a burlap print looking blue tropics? Thank gosh I bought the In the Flows in Blue Tropics last year, too.

Big bust tonight for this Lulu fan.

Yet again, the US got nothing. What.A.Joke. Unless LLL is just taking their sweet time with adding items, none of the things I wanted were put out here.

Chezhire71 said...

I'm so irritated that Lulu has CHANGED THE DESIGN of the 105f singlet without renaming it.
Felt the need to comment again. I know others out there in LuluAddict-land have commented on this, and now I'm chiming in, too.

LuluAddict said...

@Chezhire71 - I haven't tried one on in awhile. What did they change? I'm reading a review that says the neckline droops differently? I'll have to take an older one with me next time I hit the store to compare.

lol! What is up with the reversibile wunder under crop in MINT already sold out in a size? This is exactly what I mean! Size 2 always sells out! Do they really make less number of 2's for wunder under and in the flow crops? Those are the only 2 items i care for. Or is it Ebay scalpers?

Jackie said...

Why is it so hard to find in the flow crops that are pink etc? Everything on the site is black, grey, black cherry? Come on. No one wants those ugly colors. Where is pink, coral, purple? In a size 2? Why is it so hard to find?

Anonymous said...

I ordered the 105f blue tropic singlet. It would have been nicer to have the scallop edging but It's still a beautiful color and I need more tanks for the coming Spring.

Anonymous said...

I was upset about the CRB but must say the SRB has grown on me. After wearing one a few times I now find the CRB a bit too long. Good thing - I plan on picking up the pink one tonight!

Anonymous said...

Agree they could have changed the title of the 105F by adding II. As long as the fit is identical, scallop vs no scallop is not a deal breaker. If they have tweaked the silohuette, then they shld have renamed it. Have not seen or tried in person yet. My guess is some people may prefer the plain. Hard to plse everyone.

What I noticed and liked about the heathered blue tropics 105 F is how the silverescent yarn is mixed/twisted with the solid color blue tropics yarn vs. for example ultra violet, where the silverescent yarn is used as a thin strip throughout the singlet.

Got a few things today, despite being a bit disappointed by the North American upload (after the UK and HK upload earlier today). Got the Black Cherry Varsity Shorts, The FTBW bra & the free to be bra in Sugar Crush! I really like this pattern, despite a lot of "looks like mold" comments on this blog! LOL

Wish the tranquility pants were a bit less loose in the legs.. looks kinda unflattering, particularly when you have short legs. Might give them a try though once they reach Ottawa.

Was really hoping for more tencel items, like the strawberry milkshake coloured one that was uploaded on the HK site. Spring is not here yet though, so I just gotta be patient.

Anonymous said...

nothing. so blah. Hate all the new patterns. Almost ordered blue tropics 105 singlet but didn't because of the design change.

Anonymous said...

They started taking away the scalloped edges! The cutest part of the 105f! It's heartbreaking really..

I'm on the hunt for a new run crop for this year. I ordered the Pace Pushers in star crushed black cherry and the Run Inspires in star crushed coal black to try.
They look a lot like a Nike pattern though, interesting.
Nike run crops retail for well over $100 in Canada, so I wonder if Lulu is getting a leg up on them? No pun intended.

I ordered the harbor blue LS swiftly and the blue tropics 105f...and I'm annoyed I didn't notice the elimination of the scalloped edging. Why would LLL get rid of that, and especially without changing the name to the 105f II or something?

I love the color, but the top is definitely plainer without that pretty detail.

purrfiktangil said...

@Chezhire71 - re: the 105Fs - I totally agree. I was super bummed they took the scalloped edging away and seem to have changed the fit slightly (according to some of the latest reviews on the LLL site anyway). I won't be getting any more unless they bring back the pretty scalloped edges either. The new version really does look like any old tank you could pick up anywhere. Boo :(

This evening I did pick up the Energy Bra in the Sugar Crush Multi/Black Cherry (hopefully it will look as pretty in person as it does online), and the Pace Pusher Crop in the Star Crushed Black Cherry to try. They are Full-On Luxtreme so that may be a deal breaker. I wish they could figure out how to do prints on regular Luxtreme.

Anonymous @ 4:01

They aren't phasing out the CRB. In fact Katelin said "I can see some beautiful colors coming for summer" when someone asked about a Blue Tropics CRB.

Anonymous said...

Jackie - I was online at practically the EXACT moment the upload came up (I too was looking to purchase the reversible WUC in size 2) and they were crossed off from the onset. I'm guessing they were never offered in this size? They seem to be really limiting what they put out in size 2 lately (no harbor blue run:inspires, no size 2 in conductor stripe WUCs, etc). Boo. :(

I usually wait to get everything at my local Lulu since I am lucky to be so close to one..I called them immediately after seeing the Sweat to Street Hobo and they don't see it coming anytime soon so I ordered this bag..looks so cute and I am so excited..My experience when these types of bags have been released in the past they sell out quickly so I am happy that I got my order conformation :)
Other than that , I would like to try the WUP Roll down in the Earl Gray cotton but these would be strictly for fashion..And I am looking forward to LLA's fit report on the new Groove..I do love the Heathered black color you ordered..these did not show up in my local Lulu but tried on the all black..I would have liked a more compressive high waist but that's just me and I thought they were too flared although I did try the Tall version because that's what I always purchased in the past but they may have increased the length so I may revisit them in a regular.
I do own the fatigue fog On the Daily Hoodie but after seeing the UK upload with the color combos coming I may rethink this purchase..tags are still on ;)

Chezhire71 said...

@LuluAddict, they changed the fit, and now I have to size down to have a tank that doesn't drop down past my bustline in the front.

Plus they've done away with the lovely scallop edging, too, which was always what made the $52 price point acceptable to me.

Heathered Black & Blue Tropics from last spring had scalloped edges, along with the rest of the available colors. I have both of these colors from last year. Now both of these colors, along with the rest of the more recently uploaded 105f's (Heathered Hawk Blue and Dark Cherry,) have straight seams along every edge.
Almost ordered the Black Cherry one @ its upload and then was like "Oh no, Lulu, caught ya."

There's a thread for this issue on Hey Lululemon. The more people who chime in, the better.

Anonymous said...

I am also frustrated by the lack of size 2 options online. Lulu you want me to be fatter?

Anonymous said...

Those Groove II pants in the gorgeous heathered black looked irresistible on the website, so I ordered a pair. Me too, I have sworn off the 105 tanks until they bring back the scalloped edges. I'm debating about buying the black cherry WUC, the only thing that holds me back is that I prefer the roll down version.

Anonymous said...

Got the star crushed black cherry speeds but where are the blue tropics? I respectfully disagree that last years version was better; probably going to sell mine if I ever get my hands on the new version.

Anonymous said...

Every now and then a pattern comes along that I want to own in every style and color, and I think that this year it will be star crushed for me. I want star crushed EVERYTHING. I'm sitting here trying to talk myself out of the Pack to Reality backpack because I never even use any of my current backpacks.

On another note, I do hope they will have enough room at the outlet sales for all the moldy looking items. Seriously if you hear the sound of muffled chuckling when you're out wearing the moldy items, don't be surprised.

Gone are the days when I'd wake up in the middle of the night to check out the uploads & get something before it was gone by morning.

Anonymous said...

Soooo....Canada didn't get the moody mirage define or the blushed illusion inspires??

LuluAddict said...

@Chezhire71 - thanks! I have some of the original scalloped ones before they used silver in the material and then I have some of the second generation with silver but no scalloping but none of the very latest. Purple Fog was the latest I've bought. I've always sized down at least one size in the 105F because it shows way too much of my bra/skin otherwise.

Anonymous said...

Jackie, they didn't have the reversible wuc in size 2 in store either, I didn't care for that color, but I had the same experience with things I really wanted and never appeared in 2, or even worst, they are available in other countries!

Anonymous said...

Re Susan @6:29....On the star crushed pattern that looks to be a very close copy of the Nike from last year....you are spot on! I bought a pair of crops in that pattern ( dark black with grey) from their online site.

Anonymous said...

@Jackie- They made a whole bunch of pink in the flows over the last few years- Raspberry Glo, Pinkalicious, Raspberry, Bleached Coral (went straight to outlet), etc.. The problem was they were see thru. I wanted a pair of pink ones so bad, I tried them all, even sizing up and still you could see my nude underwear clearly. There were tons of pink in the flows of all sizes on deep discount at the outlet near me. I'm guessing that's why we having seen any in the past year. Hopefully, they will figure out it someday and make a nice opaque pair of pink in the flows.

I need another bag like I need a hole in my head, but I had to order the Sweat to Street Hobo just to see it. I live five minutes from a store I can return it to. I just hope it has some fatal flaw so that I do return it!

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know if the black cherry or naval blue WUC are sheer? Are the naval blue made in the US? TIA!

Anonymous said...

I could not agree more. I have completely forgotten about the upload. Nothing has appealed to me in several months

Anonymous said...

Wanted the hobo bag but don't see it on Canadian website. Live near a store though so fingers crossed.

They did the same thing with the Swiftly headbands from years ago. They now come with no scalloped edges. I refuse to buy them now. That was definitely what I liked about the headband and made it unique looking. And that is why Lulu is losing customers. Those little details they keep taking away, thinking we won't notice.

Re: Tranquility Pants - I think if you threw a pair of spring like wedges on, these wouldn't be half bad. (The wide legged pants are the trend for spring, right?) With tennis shoes, they look absolutely ridiculous! I think LLL is doing us no favors by trying to give us items to wear outside of the studio/gym unless it's for to and from. I realize I'm preaching to the choir....

Anonymous said...

Yes- the cropped length is totally ridiculous! Looks like a botched home hem job. They wouldn’t be as bad if they were floor length or even knee length. But then again, for the price…

Anonymous said...

I have both the Black Cherry and Naval Blue WUCs--neither are sheer. I found them to be very thick and supportive. Made in Bangladesh.

Anonymous said...

@Anon 7:13p.m., I don't see any comment here about last years Blue Tropics speeds being better. And I'd agree, last years, with the black contrast, was even worse.

I agree with one of the previous comment that a solid Blue Tropics speed would be best. What's with the fuzzy looking pattern on this years version?

Anonymous said...

The tranquility pants look promising for casual wear. I don't mind the tennis shoes on the model.

I didn't order anything but I am really liking the clear mint WUC.

I saw the speed shorts in both the black cherry and the blue tropics.

The blue tropics should have been solid blue, the pattern looks like a bad computerized version of burlap.
I have given up on the 105F I have a few from the original and never wear them. I have to size down in those. I think the what the sport is a much better alternative to a light singlet.

I agree, the high waist/wide leg shape of the Tranquility Pants is actually really on trend for spring. Anthropologie has a similar pair that people are really loving. Not sure I can see myself in them, but never say never!

Anonymous said...

Not impressed! The scalloped edge is the best part, making the top very work-to-yoga-to-dinner transitional. And if the fit was changed it needed to be renamed and made clear. Saw your post on heylululemon. Nicely done.

Anonymous said...

Anon @10:03 thanks for your comments on pink crops. I really want a pair of pink WUP or In the flow crops as well but they just keep turning up sheer. It's probably hard bc the color is light but I do hope they keep trying. And make them in a 2!!!

Anonymous said...

I know many don't care about a male opinion when it comes to ladies active gear, but the Tranquility pant style I have found the general consensus from guys is "WTF...."
Perhaps we give them enough with the tight black yoga pant look. These balance it out ha.

I don’t find anything appealing but the swiftly tops, speed shorts, and the bags.

In my opinion:

Losing scalloped edges and the like: it’s just another example of cost saving and reduced quality/calibre of design for the same price or higher. LLL is very happy if you settle or convince yourself the changes are a good thing or whatever it is has “won you over” (Studio Racer) – when you continue to buy the changed or new item, they succeed and you will never see them revert back to the details you love. Because they took them away and you continue to buy.

Pink in the Flows, to someone else’s point: see through, already previously offered and marked down (therefore not that appealing to the mass of customers). Speak for yourself but the deeper, darker colours are actually more appealing to many people versus super bright colours (and yes, I can pull them off but I like a more classic coloured bottom with a brighter top).

Tranquility Pant: I’m sorry, are you on crack? I don’t care how “trendy” they are or if (waste of space) Anthropologie is selling something similar. They. Are. Ghastly. If you have money to throw away and think these are worth it with a pair of wedges: see above, they are happy to have your money and they love it when you figure out a way to justify the purchase. They count on your addiction 100% whether you have the disposable income or not.

I am a longtime customer and am very selective about what I buy from LLL. In recent years it is less and less and less. When they now produce the odd quality piece that is functional, performance driven, classy, and durable and actually appeals to me, I will generally buy it. (I don’t even care if I miss out now, before I used to care a little if I didn’t get a particular thing. Now it’s very much ‘so what.’ And I never waited up for an upload when they were in the insane middle of the night ET, not once.) I have scaled back tremendously and that will continue = they will not get my money. Their route is lesser quality and unappealing design. I call most of it what it is (crap) and say “no thanks,” keep my money or shop elsewhere, and keep losing interest in LLL. It is fascinating to me that they wonder why their sales are down. They have no idea how much their loyal customers supported them (and spread the word) when the goods were in fact, good or great. A customer, btw, you didn’t have to convince to spend $100 on a pant of shirt, as that customer was already sold through experience with great quality: it was worth it. I think that’s a hard new customer to gain. And with these offerings, all I can say is good luck!

Agree with anon 4:40 , just wanted to add my two cents. There's lots of blah stuff, but they still make a lot of good items for workouts and to& from. Their competitors still don't even come close , there's no other comparable brand. IMO Nike clothes is performance driven, but not sexy, Athleta & Underarmour look cheap and feel cheap. You get what you pay for.

I just got my Sweat to Street Hobo and I LOVE Lulu bags (for the money they are actually excellent quality - not what I would say for much of what Lulu makes these days - and the styles are great) but this one is disappointing. It's small, and tall/deep so stuff pools at the bottom. It feels flimsy and lacks structure. That is fine for this style of bag but I expect more quality for $100. There is no phone pocket. The zipper to vent the gear pocket is kind of silly and is difficult to zip back up because the mesh gets caught in the teeth. It does come with an extra cross-body strap and shoe bag, but it's so small that if you put your shoes in there you wouldn't have much room for other stuff. There's no water bottle pocket. I would keep it for $68 or $78 but at $98 it's going back.
