I have the Hip to be Free bag in the moody mirage print and have been using it this week while visiting several colleges with my son. I think it is a great cross-body bag. I often slide it into my Pack to Reality backpack when I need to have both but there will be times (like going out to a restaurant) where I don't want to have to take my whole backpack in just to hav ea place to carry my wallet, etc. This way I can just pull the Hip to be Free bag out of the backpack for those types of situations.

The bag fits my large wallet, a small make-up bag and a small credit card case. I slide my iPhone 6 in it's Speck candy shell case vertically into the middle open slot so it's nice and easy to access but I've had no issues with it falling out or anything like that.

I love the Electric coral (?) accents on this pattern. It's really pretty.

@Luluaddict Sorry, this is totally off topic. I was so excited to make it into this year's Seawheeze race, but I just found out I'm 7 weeks pregnant. It looks like I won't be making the trip to Vancouver to run. :( This is the happiest and saddest I've been at the same time for a while. Is there any way to arrange for an angel to pick me up just one piece of gear from Seawheeze? I always read about people doing this on your blog, how do angels work?

has anyone seen the savasana wrap in orange county?

when the blissed out wrap came out i was really excited that it reminded me of the savasana wrap, but i found the blissed out wrap to wrinkle easily due to the material difference... so i'm excited the savana wraps are making a come back!!

That is a super helpful review of the hip to be free bag. Thanks!

Just in case anyone wants to know the middle slot of the Hip to Be Free bag also fits a iphone 6 plus with a fairly thick case with a lot of room extra.

the lady with curly hair wearing all white with Hip to be free bag photo- I understand women come in all different shapes and sizes. It's lovely that these ladies model clothes for us so we're able to have some idea what these items might look like on. However, there are Lululemon items that certain bodies shouldn't model. I love white Power Y and White St to Studio Pant and own both. If I weren't familiar with this brand and based on these photos, I would not be inclined to buy this top, pant or both. There are outfits I certainly wouldn't wear on my bloated days. Anything light color and form fitting wouldn't be part of my wardrobe repertoire.

I have never commented on any photos EVER on this blog in such a negative manner about another woman in Lulu outfit. And Lord knows there have been plenty of times where I wanted to comment.

It looks like they haven't fixed the savasana wrap - the inside panel at the front dips down below the outer panel - they need to put a button inside at the top near the neck line so you can clip the inside panel up so it doesn't start dropping down as you move/walk. I was hoping the fixed that - it kinda gets annoying having to re-adjust the wrap when I have it buttoned up.

Are the savasana wraps old inventory? They seem like the same two colors that came out last fall. I wish they would come in something other than black and white. :)

Why does it matter to you what shape her body is? She looks great! Maybe someone with a similar body type to her saw that photo and decided to buy those items, for what reason do you need to broadcast your weird perceptions of who is allowed to showcase lulu clothing or not..

Anon @ 4:39 pm Before I comment, please know that I don't begrudge you the right to express your opinion. However, recognize that not everyone agrees with your point of view. In fact, before I even read your comment, I looked at the photos and was thinking to myself, "Wow, it's refreshing to see someone with a different body shape modeling some things" I, like you, have never commented on the models because I realize that they are not paid models, so they shouldn't be expected to adhere to the current "model standards" whatever those may be. But, I will say this about the unpaid Lulu models that graciously put themselves out there for our benefit: MOST (not all) are cookie cutter size 2 or 4, 32A, fresh faced 20 something yoga girls. Which is good for them, but it gets boring after a while.....especially for those us who look nothing like that. If you are in said category, then go on with your bad self, but again, do realize that others would like to see what certain items look like on a more curvy body. Just sayin. Peace.

I think the girl in the white power Y has an attractive body. Sorry, but not all men like skinny chicks with no boobs or butt. Maybe anon at 4:39 has missed all the songs like "gotta get to you and dat booty" or (insert your favorite booty song here). She has curves and isn't trying to hide them....pretty sure she would turn more heads walking across a construction site in that outfit than most of the skinny no curve models we always see.

@ anon 6:20pm - I tend to think they are.

@anon 4:39 pm - I'm with anon 6:32pm, maybe there is someone with that body shape who is glad to know how she would look in the very clingy Power Y. These aren't professional models, just educators who are regular people like us and are doing us a big favor by modeling clothes. It's very helpful to see a variety of body shapes in these clothes.

Anon at 4:39 "I have never commented on any photos EVER on this blog in such a negative manner about another woman in Lulu outfit." Why start now? Why start ever? These ladies are brave enough to put themselves out there so we can see the outfits in action. I'll snark clothes all day, but not bodies. Make kindness part of your life repertoire, even on your bloated days.

I like that the new pattern in the Hip to be Free bag has a solid black strap. I have the moody mirage print and do not like the black and white herringbone strap. I think it makes the whole bag look too busy and would have looked much nicer with a solid (navy perhaps?) strap.

Seriously? Should have stuck with your instincts and not commented at all...
I'd say more but the other anons took the words out of my mouth...

The woman in the all white outfit, does not look bad in my opinion.
WE all come in different shapes and sizes.
