I'm not sure how I feel about the changes that have been made to the Groove Pants. I actually loved them as they were. Haven't tried the new Groove 2.0 yet, but I don't have a good feeling about it. I love the Black Cherry colour for Grooves, but I'm not in love with the waistband colour. I actually don't like how the extra wide waistband now shows too much contrasting colour on the pants with coloured waistbands. I think the coloured waistbands looked much better on the older grooves with quilted waistbands. Also, the waistband looks thinner(although higher) than the older style quilted waistbands. I'd never wear the waistband rolled down and not sure how well it would stay up when worn up since it looks thinner I'm thinking it will likely end up stretching out a bit, causing rolling and bunching. I guess the only way I'll find out is if I try them.
If anyone has tried them, I'd love to hear what you think.
I like the idea of the knee going back to a more relaxed fit and the flare coming in a bit but I don't know whether I like the waistband, either. I thought the waistband was pretty perfect as is.
Do we have any idea if they're gonna come in tall? I want both the above colors!
Agree that this heathered black is beautiful. Such a simple classic color. I would like a pair of inspire tights or crops in this color. The more I do crossfit the more I realize WUCs don't work that well since they always seem to slide down and at least the ones I have just aren't that stretchy and get too warm.
I love the look of the Groove 2s, but am curious about whether the waist band fits more like the High Times (which I think is perfect) or the Roll-Down WUs (which, for me at least, is way too loose when up and way too low when down).
Agreed! I have the roll down WU which people rave about and they're way too loose!
I also love the heathered black. I have a couple of pants I got from lulu on sale (not grooves)in heathered black and I wear them all the time. I think the high waist band will fold over when doing yoga.
