Split Pea Fluffed Up Vest, Race With Grace Half Zip, and new Stash it Crops. These luxteme crops are already in Australia. They have zipperless pockets for your stuff and are aimed at people who like the luxtreme run crops for workouts but don't like the zippers digging into them when they have to lay on their back or legs.

lululemon spirit pullover
Spirit Pullover - imo, one of the prettiest yet functional pieces lulu has ever made.

I love the decorative reflective element on the Stash Its. Lululemon used to do this a few years ago. Shown above are Hills Crops and Spirit Pullover. Both of these piece are from 2009, which most long time fans consider the pinnacle of awesome lulu designs (though, 2010 had a lot of great pieces, too).

lululemon runaway jacket
New Runaway Jacket in what I think is the new Pebble Print. Also shown are the new Stash It Crops. I'm in the market for a new jacket so I'm curious to see this.

lululemon lets get visible hoodie
Alberta Lake Let's Get Visible Hoodie and Beat the Sleet Pant. Anyone know what shoes she is wearing in that top right photo? They're cute. I did a google image search but it came up empty.

lululemon studio racerback stress less pant
The new Studio Racerback tank with the Stress Less Pants. I'm glad photos of the tank are starting to pop up so we can what various bras look like underneath. I think she has a Free to Be bra on in this photo. (Comparison of the fit to a CRB is here.)

lululemon studio racerback stress less pant
Studio Racerback, Energy Bra, and Namaskar Hoodie. I tried this jacket on yesterday and found it to run oversized. You can size down but then you lose some length and it's already a short jacket.

Did you keep your new hobo? If so- how do you like it?

The shoes are Nike free 5.0 runners, from 2013. I have a pair and they are super cool! They had matching tights with that same floral print.

Lulu is just not the same. Their stuff is so unappealing. For a lot less money, I will be buying cuter yoga wear from other lines. I am no longer a "lulu addict".

Hi LLA! I was wondering if you're planning on doing your year end Best/Worst list? I have been looking forward to it. Thanks for all you do!

I haven't tried the studio racer back but I do have a couple refresher and I love the back on those. I will miss the CRB if they truly are giving it a break. The studio racerback..The back straps remind be a a 1920's strong man singlet (which oddly enough some guy was wearing something similar at my health club the other day). It looks good on the girl on the bar but on the photo above it where it is tucked in, the straps look so long. If anyone knows of a good non lulu substitute for the crb please post.

wish that tank didn't have that ridiculous curved hemline..... hate that!!!!!! a bit too short too so pass for me.... lulu always screws up a design i would like somehow!!!!

I know I'm not LLA, but I also bought the Alberta Lake Hobo and am in love.

I bought it for Crossfit. I need to fit two pairs of shoes (Nanos and lifters), a change of clothes (either gym clothes if I am coming from work or work clothes if going before), toiletries (mini shampoo, conditioner, lotion, eye cream, dry shampoo, volumizer, and deodorant) hairbrush, a jump rope, an inhaler, and sometimes a towel. I fit ALL OF THAT in it. With the towel, it's fully - but otherwise, I'm in love. My Nanos fit in the yoga mat bag on the outside, my lifters in the body, and the pockets on the outside are perfect for my rope, inhaler, hair ties, headbands, and bobby pins.

I bought it when I returned the Weekend Warrior, which held everything, but was way too bulky to take on the metro and hard to manage. It looked ridiculous as a gym bag. The hobo is a manageable size, even with a work bag, purse, or even backback and it looks fashionable. I need both: function and fashion.

No drawbacks yet. I'm in love with it!

Hi LLA, wondering if you think we'll get the Embrace*luscious hoodie in Canada still.

@2:33 pm. Check a few posts back. If my memory is right, LLA posted the year in review back on 12/31....perfectly timed I might add!

@6:41 pm, I'm wondering how tall you are? I tried on the Alberta Lake Hobo this weekend and at just over 5' tall, it looked a bit silly on me, like I was a 3 year old carrying mom's bag. Just wanted to mention my experience for those how might order it sight unseen. I think that if you are petite, this bag is still pretty huge. Not weekend warrior huge, but still big. I'm on the hunt for a smaller scale bag that doesn't dwarf my frame but can still fit the basics, like if the gym it to win it bag were about 3/4 the size, then it would be awesome. I guess I will keep waiting.

I might be alone, but I don't care for the reflective print on the crops; it looks as dated to me as the flared crops do. It's probably because I have horrible family pictures of me wearing flared jeans with painted bell bottoms in those kinds of prints in the 70s. In my defines, I wasn't dressing myself then. I can't do it now. ;)

Such a nice surprise to see the lovely lulu model in the split pea fluffed up vest is my friend, Hannah! So cute.

@ anon 12:45 pm - thanks!

@ anon 6:53 pm - Shoot, I thought you guys got that jacket already. I would think it's still coming. There has been lots of problems with labor unrest in the ports in LA so it's affected delivery schedules somewhat.

@ anon 12:45 pm - I still have the hobo but haven't used it yet. I am leaning towards keeping it since it's so cute. I just have to get my butt to the gym so I have a reason to take the tags off.

I don't think I will be into this crop as I am a runner so need and want the zip pocket. However, I applaud LLL for listening to reviews of other crops by people who have wanted an option without a zip pocket. I know they have released a few crops now for people who cross fit, boot camp etc.

I don't think I'll care for that Runaway Jacket - what is the weird flappy business going on at the back? Probably supposed to be a vet? Not into it/deal breaker.

Ahhh, you are definitely making me long for the LLL of old with the picture of the Spirit Pullover.

Those shoes are cute. Thanks to the person who posted they are by Nike.

@ 2:37 PM - Roots makes a simple CRB like tank called the Racer Tank. Currently on markdown - limited sizing. If you're near a store they may have more stock.

@ 2:33 PM - you have to page back to older posts a couple of pages. LLA already posted Best/Worst Of 2014.

Do you know when Canada will get the hobo bag?

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:21 pm - hopefully today but it's supposed to be coming.

@8:13 pm, I'm with you on the hobo bag. I'm 5'3" 100 lbs. and the bag just overwhelmed me. I loved the style and the features, but just can't rock it. I was so disappointed because I really loved the design.

@ anon 3:58 pm - I know, I love the Spirit. I finally tracked one down on eBay a few years ago. Such a pretty piece and worked perfectly on the one windy, cold weather run I used it for in an Arizona winter visit to my parents. It mostly sits in my closet but like a crazy serial killer who keeps "trophies" of the hunt, I cannot get rid of it, lol.

Yeah, I definitely like my run bottoms to have at least one large zipper pocket. Though, I tuck my car key in a front gel pockets with no problems. My biggest concern is where to keep my cell phone when I run outdoors so if it has a pocket big enough for that I might consider them.

@ anon 8:40 pm - I can see your point. If you've been buying lulu for a long time, I can see it being a reminder of those days. I wonder how visible the reflective print is in the daytime. They look fairly low key compared to how they used to do it five years ago.

@ anon 11:10 am - good point about petites needing a smaller gym bag. Lululemon has been putting out some really large bags for a long while, which have you guys (@11:10 and 8:13 pm) been using?

Anonymous said...

@11:10 am here, I've been using the Flow to Om. It's a pretty large bag on me, but maybe it's the structured shape that makes it seem smaller (than the hobo) when I wear it, or maybe it's the shorter handles.

@ 8:13 pm - I am only 5'3" - and it does look a little big, but not anywhere as ridiculous as the Weekend Warrior. Jesus, I would have looked ridiculous with a bag for work AND that - plus I would have taken out half a train car commuting in rush hour. For how much I need to carry somedays (especially when I have to shower at the gym or change there), this was as small as I could go without doing the WW. I had been carrying a small Nike duffel and a reusable bag with my lifters and towel!

I think it looks better slung across the chest and on the back, but I'd wear it the other way too. I also like the shape, details, and color. Alberta Lake is gorgeous and a little different than basic black and less showy than the pigment colored WW.

I'm with you on the Gym It to Win It. I actually almost bought one from a Lulu fbook group recently, before I realized it was actually the smaller duffel from last spring and the seller had mislabeled it. But now, I think I actually prefer the Hobo shape. It's annoying how excited I am to use it tomorrow.

2:37 yogasmoga has a tank that is pretty close to the CRB. the neck line is a bit higher and it is not as long. The material it's made of is supplex, which is the same stuff as luon. I got a yellow one and did yoga in it and the thing did not move. fit wise I prefer it from the CRB, but it is probably because I am petite.
