I got the
Black Camo High Times pant I ordered on Tuesday. The material is definitely denim luon but it feels a little different than my black camo WUCs from last year.

The pants on the left are the High Times pant and the ones on the right are my older Wunder Under crops. The pattern on the new High Times is a little less murky than on the older pants. I think it's because the black is a bit blacker and the lightest gray is lighter. (The WUCs have only been worn a couple of times so the color difference is not due to laundering.)The fabric also feels a touch thinner and softer than the older version of denim luon but I guess I could be imagining things. They didn't look sheer in my home mirror but it was dark so I need to take them to the store and check out the view in the 3-way mirror.

I can't help but feel a little crazy reading this post... they look identical to me, and since the fabric content is an identical mix it seems like they are probably identical. I'm passing on the high times because I bought it in both WUP and WUC, so I already overdid it, but I do really like the black camo. I see people with it at my gym too including personal trainers and seeing it on others confirms to me how great it looks!
Lol, the difference visually is very, very subtle and I think you need a big computer screen to see it in these photos. If you already have WUPS and WUCs then you don't need the HT.
I was able to check them out today and they did feel a little smoother/softer than the WUC that I have. Thickness seemed the same. I passed on them, since they were so similar and I was actually looking for dark cherry.
Thank you for the comparison. It always helps when seeing IRL pictures vs stock pics. I already own the roll down WUC in black camo. I actually like the denim fabric since they are less stretchier than full on Luon or Luon. Did you size up on the HT black camo? My roll down black camo does run slightly snug in my regular size. The recent giant herringbone black HT pant did run really snug so I had to size up. TIA!
I felt and saw a difference too. I called gec to make sure they were not denim before I ordered as the website didn't mention thisike in the last. I didn't like the first run of denim. It was unwearable in my opinion. Once I saw your post cofirmation denim I tbought for sure they'd be going back but tried on anyway but they felt different. Softer, not as stiff and a little thinner just like you said.
@ anon 11:58 pm - The only reason I went up a size in the HT is because I gained back some of the weight I lost last year so the size 10 black camo WUCs are too tight on me now. I thought the black camo High Times ran TTS. I thought the Giant Herringbone HT ran snug, too. The camo are not like those at all.
Hmm-I have the roll down Camo in a 10 and 12, but the 10's are a bit snug for squatting, so I opt for my 12. Ordered a 12 in the HT, so I guess we'll see when they arrive! Thanks for the info!

Thank you for this post! I was waiting to hear what you had to say about the High Times Camo pants before ordering since they aren't in stores in NYC. Thanks for the great info! I'm gonna give them a try.
If anyone is selling a size 8 in either the high times or the high rise PLEASE let me know :)
