What's In the Stores

The official color of these are Wee Are From Space Cadet Cashew Black/Black.

The new Heathered Medium Gray Swiftly Tank. Shown with the Cadet WAFS Pace Rival skirt in the top photo and new Clear Mint/Black Inspire crops. I bought this swiftly tank today. The color is super soft and nicely opaque. I am hoping this color will also be coming in a LS Swiftly.

Photos of the Lightened Up Pullover, which I got to try on today. I really liked this top - it's super lightweight and I can see using it for chilly run days. I thought the fit was a bit tight for my hips, though, and I really wish it came in a 12 to see how that worked. Because the top caught on my hips the back pleat ballooned open which I didn't love. The kangaroo pocket has a phone-sized pocket on the inside of it but I didn't see an earbud cord tunnel pass through. If it was a bit cheaper, I might have pulled the trigger on it but I left it at the store, for now.

Wee Are From Space Wunder Under Pant and Here to There Dresses is Back

Finally, a photo of the latest Wee Are From Space bottoms that are out in Wee Are From Space Cashew/Black. I'm not sure whether these are Black/Cashew/Soot or Cadet Blue/Cashew/Soot. This photo is from a Quebec store. (Stores are holding British flags to celebrate the opening of the new London store.)

I tweeted this out but in case you aren't on Twitter or don't see my feed in the right hand margin on the blog, stores are getting re-stocks of the Here to There Dress so if you missed it make sure to check back.

"Technical Innovation, Style, Function, and Beauty" - Music to My Ears

I'm listening to the 2013 Q4 Conference call and will post more about the details later once the transcript is up but the one thing that stood out was that Potdevin and Poseley mentioned "beauty" a lot when talking about the return to "their design-led roots".

The Spirit Pullover from 2009, to me, remains the embodiment of the perfect melding of function, technical, and beauty in athletic clothing with regards to how lululemon does it. (Long time lululemon fans think 2009 was the pinnacle year for products.) Besides the flattering fit, the reflective bird symbols are what really sets this piece apart, really puts the lululemon stamp on it, so I hope we go back to seeing these special, lululemonesque touches like this make a return.

What is your favorite piece that most represents technical, functional, and style/beauty to you?
