White Parallel Stripe Runday Crops

New Parallel Stripe White/Black Runday Crops. The waistband sets my lulu-spidey senses tingling. Is lululemon going to make fans ecstatic and bring out a black version of the coveted asstastic Quiet Stripes? It would be very, very smart (and profitable) of them if they did. (Thanks to Ms. E. for her photos.)

The famous Quiet Stripe Wunder Under crops. The most magical of magic pants ever produced.

LLA did you ever own QS WUC? I'm interested to know if everyone - like everyone - looks good in them like people claim. I only ever see people posting pics of girls with great bodies wearing them. The girl in this pic has a fantastic body - any pants would look awesome! Just curious in case they do come out. Normallywhite pants are a very quick pass for my bootay!

I'm sure they magically look like that on everyone too... /sarcasm
the right butt makes any pants look magical.

Oh I see. The ass-tastic chevron formed by the stripes at the butt crack? Really?

@ anon 5:42 pm - I've seen a ton of QS photos on regular people. They are magical on more than you imagine. They tend to give a bit of a visual lift to the booty.

@ anon 5:36 pm - I never owned any QS pants. I don't buy white pants. I cannot take the stress of keeping white clean.

@ anon 5:36 pm - I have parallel stripe Rundays and Wunder Under crops. They are a similar stripe pattern with a black background.

@ Alejandra - Used Quiet Stripe WUCS regularly go for $400+ on ebay.

Right I know they're expensive on eBay. But why? They honestly don't look too special in any photo I've seen of them on anyone.

Oops, just saw your response. To each her own I guess! Would never go that far to make my ass look even the most magical it could possibly look.

I had the QS crops. They are a magical as the myth lol. I'm a curvy size 6 and they looked great. I was afraid to wear them because I thought I'd mess them up..then when I did they mysteriously got a hole:( I've NEVER had a LLL quality issue except that one time. I sold them. Hope they release again.

@ Alejandra - I would never pay $400+ for used crops but a lot of people do. There are certain things that really appeal to the lulu fan. QS WUCS are one of them. Gratitude Wraps are another. I don't see the greatness of the GW - I think I've ordered them at least twice now - but tons of people pay big $ for the older ones, particularly the VHTF Stitch GW.

I should have said hardcore lulu fan.

Yes it truly is amazing what some used items sell for on eBay..I just threw on a handful myself because too many great things are in my must have category this season so I must purge!! I had an old scuba hoodie..black/white ombre manifesto print sherpa lined hood..sold for $170!

@LLA Yeah I mean I've work Lulu since 2005 but I just have missed the draw of those "cult" items. If I happen upon a piece that's great for me I snatch it, only resort to eBay if I'm dying for a duplicate for laundrys' sake or if it's threadbare. Idk. Intereshing that the designs people lust after are not usually on-trend and simple in terms of design, yet they are not frequently produced. I don't think it would harm them to stock a parallel stripe WUP like that all the time. There would also be interest in them. Same is not said for circulating the wraps which seems to work well on the cycle of new designs and old favorites. It'd be interested to know what their buyers are thinking and how they're charting this market.

@ Alejandra - Interesting. Take a look at the top priced sold auctions on ebay and you'll get a good idea what the hardcore fan likes and what the cult pieces are. The camo rise and shine jacket is another piece that regularly goes to $400. The Wanderlust tribal print WUPS reached $700.

@lulu - I have so much I need to list! $170 is great. Certain things, like coveted print Scubas, sell well. I think Sherpa anything does well in the resale market. I just bought a second Post Chaturanga Pullover. It's become my go-to piece this time of year.

@LLA I've been wanting a Post Chaturanga Pullover..How much did you pay? They look so cozy, I missed that PO when it came out last year :(
I've been listing some of my old Defines..just solid color ones and I've been getting between 30 and 40 for them. I really like the new Herringbone and Parallel stipe defines but honestly after having 5 boys (The last one at 45) my midsection is not what it used to be so I prefer a jacket that's not as form fitting like the stride jacket II.. And I love my scubas!

@LLA but at least the Camo Rise & Shine is something unique. I had one and I did end up selling it in EUC for a pretty penny this past season. They can't do camo jackets and pieces every season because the it would really lessen the novelty of the- oh wait. ;-)

@lulu - I think around $105? $100? It was NWOT.

You should check out the Pump It Up jacket for a looser fitting, comfy jacket. I don't know how often they show up on line since they were only released in the stores but it's my favorite jacket. It came in Flare (I think. It was a bright orange), Haze light blue, Mint Moment, and solid black. It's made of brushed luxtreme. The arms are loose and the mid section, too.

The lulu resale market is not what it used to be and with the Canadian dollar weaker against the US $ it makes selling that much harder since US prices knock a lot of Canadians out of bidding.

I've seen quiet stripe WUCs on two women in person. They looked amazing on them but they had amazing bodies to begin with. Aren't they navy and either white or off-white? What do you wear with them? I feel like they are hard to match and they kind of looked like pajamas to me. I would definitely try them on if they came back around but not sure I would buy them. And I certainly wouldn't pay $400 for them. I'm a member of two lll selling groups on FB and they actually come up fairly frequently for sale.

yes if those quiet stripe crops came back I would totally get them.
Paying $400 for nylon is just ourageous.
