Very cute new Atomic Flower Silver Spoon/Black Festival bag. (Canada only)

lululemon giant houndstooth scuba

lululemon cabin yogi ls gray
I really like the look of the Cabin Yogi LS sweaters. (Canada)

lululemon capilano cool racerback

lululemon jet stripe power y

lululemon cabin onesie
Cabin Onesie (Canada only)

lululemon cabin yogi wrap
Cabin Yogi Wrap (Canada)

lululemon textured wave inspire tight front

lululemon textured wave inspire tight
Canada got Textured Wave Inspire Tights. The photos I posted early today were of Inspire crops. I tried on the Inspire tights this weekend. There is no back zipper pocket, just the two thigh zipper pockets and they weren't big enough to fit my iphone in its case.

lululemon be present jacket
The Black/Herringbone Be Present jacket is super cute. I thought the arms on this ran tight. I liked this jacket a lot.

lululemon snug sprinter jacket
New Snug Sprinter jacket. This jacket isn't doing much for me in the photos.

lululemon namaskar pant
New luon Namaskar pants in deep coal. I kind of like these.

lululemon stretch it out hoodie
New Stretch It Out Hoodie. Yet another jacket that doesn't go to a 12.

lululemon waterbound bra
Why did Australia get Waterbound Bras up to a 12? I have five Waterbound/Bound bras in size 10 but I was looking to pick up a 12.

lululemon swiftly fatigue
Fatigue LS Swiftly. I haven't decided whether to order this or not.

I didn't order anything yet. I do like that Cabin Yogi LS sweater but it's not in the US right now.

Did you order anything today?

I'd be interested in the Cabinet Yogi sweater, except it looks see-through - you can see her bra through it. Nothing for me - too much gray.

I picked up the Be Present Jacket in both the herringbone/black and the white herringbone but one will have to go back. And I got the Snug Sprinter Jacket in the dream rose slate floral print to try, though I am not sure I like the back or the shoulders, and there are no cuffins, so it very well may be going back (which would no doubt be a very very good thing haha), but I couldn't resist the print. None of the water bound collection is up my alley thankfully, and I do wish the US got those new black/white reflective inspire crops with the thigh pockets...perhaps next week...

Also, where oh where is the ultra violet pique neck warmer for the US? :(

A week before Christmas and they give us the worst upload of the year. I must say this entire holiday season for lulu has been really disappointing compared to years past..

Anonymous said...

I'm snowbound this time of year so I'm looking forward to the U.S. getting the cabin collection. That onesie looks tempting. I really can't believe we didn't see more winter weather items? Very disappointed

I ordered the 50 Rep bra in flash light. The 50 Rep is probably my favorite LLL bra, and I've been patiently waiting for flash to come back. Otherwise, not much appealed to me. I wanted to love paradise grid but upon closer inspection I just don't think it's me and I'd rather save for items I truly love.

OT - I was really hoping to see fun details like ruffles for the holidays - doesn't look promising at this point.

I wanted the stretch it out hoodie - but alas, no 12. Once again a jacket I like is not in a 12. It's like lulu doesn't want my money. Guess I'll keep buying old pieces on eBay that do come in a 12. Sigh.

Anonymous said...

Took my chances on the Paradise Grid CRB - bought two in order to check pattern placement - if they're as scratchy as people have mentioned, they'll be going back.

Anonymous said...

Boring. Nothing for me.

Cabin Yogi Wrap in Inkwell!

water bound bra and hoodie in ombre wave, paradise grid CRB, and flaming tomato WUC. I will get to show off the pretty summery goodies in Cancun in less than three weeks! Lulu, thank you for offering these beauties in the US since I have been drooling over them on the Australian website! Oh, did you forget to upload the water bound shorts in ombre wave? I was counting on getting the matching shorts.

I saw the cabin yogi LS in store today, did not try on because there were 2 on the hangers with visible pulls.

I am mad at Lulu and madly jealous at the U.S. upload. Why can't we we have those cute summery items that I could wear on my California, Florida, Caribbean and Nevada vacations in the winter? Why did we have to get the dropped crotch pants and the useless onesies? Why? I was also waiting for that furry Embrace hoodie and the fatigue swiftlies to appear, but I guess those are not going to be under the Christmas tree this year. Surfing the CA website, I also noticed that items that were in huge demand before, and snapped up as soon as they appeared, are languishing there in all sizes (like rulu herringbone, cocoa pique, etc.). Is it because of the rising prices? Peeps getting tired of them? They are waiting for Boxing Day?

I think Christmas came early to Canada! Not begrudging them, but they were the clear winners this week.

Nothing for me, as the US stuff was pretty boring. I was really looking forward to a few surprises, since this is (by my calculations) the last week to order for Christmas delivery, but it looks like the season is over. Oh, well, I'm doing enough credit card damage shopping for others.

Did canada get the water bound bra? I can't find it

I ordered the Dip Dye Giant Houndstooth scuba (which was also on the US side). I don't have any of the Scuba IIs so looking forward to trying that - I feel like it's dressy enough with the dark color and pattern that I could wear it to work. Guess we will see! Was tempted by the WUP in the same texture, and the Paradise Grid speeds, but kinda want to see both in store first.

Anonymous said...

Waiting for Cabin LS in US. LLA, what is your experience as to whether or when the US gets items that are initially Canada only?

GAH Lulu is killing me this season. Contrary to those who are saying "this is lame" or "I'm sick of all this black and white stuff"....I have been coming up with serious financial hijinx to distract my husband....like buying myself hefty gift cards at the store using cash and then using said gift cards to purchase via web on upload nights. I'm really tempted by a few things tonight, but I'm going to sit this one out. I'm all out of "gift cards" and if my hubby sees anymore Lulu charges this month, I won't hear the end of it. First world problems!

Pretty lame upload for a week before Christmas and disappointing since there is only 1 upload this week. Interested in the Stretch It Out Hoodie, but like the Embrace Luscious Hoodie does not come in a size 12. Why not??? Oh well, at least my wallet gets a break!

Anonymous said...

I ordered the paradise grid speeds. I have SL swiftlys in almost every color, and these shorts will go with pretty much all of them. I like the print a lot, but don't care for it on the WUC or the CRB - too much IMO.

Don't know why the beach stuff is out now but I wanted the paradise grid SS and all the Ombré wave items when I saw them hit Australia. Yes the winter offering has been a big let down. No denim pants, no ice queen pants, no must have special edition items unless you dig sparkle disco leggings!

Anonymous said...

website is being a pain and i want that watery print water bound hoodie! it looks like it's going fast.

Anonymous said...

i'm with anon@ 6:35, i think lulu is killin' it this season, last year everyone was saying no sweaters and cozy items or patterns and that's all we've been getting.... i'm on the east coast, nyc so i love the black, white, grey stuff....

Anonymous said...

I was tempted by the white/black parallel stripe Scuba but the black band makes it look so short. I ended up ordering the flash light 50 rep bra and a herringbone think fast pullover.

The ombré water bound tank is cute but I'm in Nor Cal with no hot weather vacations planned before spring so I held back.

Speaking of husbands and Lulu, mine presented me with my total Lulu spending for the year (thanks to our accountant) and it was cringe-worthy. I've been trying to list things on eBay, but somehow that money seems to go right back to Lulu. Ugh...

Seriously, some of the most nauseating comments I've ever read, one in particular. Talk about First World Problems.

Anonymous said...

I didn't order anything, but received last week's order. Love the Giant Herringbone Speeds and the inkwell High Times; the tags are already off both. After taking back the Coco Pique High Times, I discovered the the Giant Herringbone version is considerably smaller. At least by one size. I'm so sorry now that I took back the CP because I'm likely to return the GH. Learned my lesson there; I compared them in store and found them too similar to have both. Now I'll end up with neither. Yet more first world problems, but I'm kicking myself for not waiting to get the Herringbone ones first before doing the return.

My Deep Coal/Manifesto brushed Speeds will be here tomorrow. I really like Deep Coal (adore my Rebel Runners in that shade) so I hope the fit is TTS.

I agree with most of the other comments... the US upload was lame. Not one cute wintery Christmas surprise! I purchased the Embrace Luscious Hoodie last week and already returned it. It could have been amazing but the fit was off with extra fabric under the armpit due to the drop shoulder and sleeves were barley long enough, and I even went with my larger size!

I also ordered the Better Together Pants last week only to be disappointed by those too. I purchased black and the two different fabric types don't match in color at all! They look like $19.99 pants from Nordstrom Rack.

I live in FL so it was a nice change to get some warm-weather items since our state is hot most of the year (at least that's how I rationalized my purchases ;) I got the tiger water (LOVEEEE!) and paradise grid speeds, paradise grid water bound bra, and the ombre wave water bound tank! First time trying out the water bound stuff hoping to use it running when it's super humid out. Wasn't a big fan of past colors but we shall see this go-around!

Went to the store tonight to see if they got Hounstooth WUP. They look pretty look, I just wish they would come in WUC cause they are too warm for me to wear at the gym. I was really really hoping to see Power Date Blazer.

Been a terrible upload season overall. Not much since September for me anyway.

That cabin onesie is tragic. The pics of it on the website are awful. I feel sorry for the model who had to wear that thing.

I only ordered the paradise grid speeds but those will probably go back as I'm not totally in love with it. Depends what they look like in person but upon hitting enter I immediately wanted to cancel so...

I honestly think I'm Lulu'd out. Between the higher prices, bad designs and boring black and gray for months on end in addition to them going away from making actual workout clothing that can stand the test of time and exercise I'm done I think

Anonymous said...

So are onesies a thing now?

Anonymous said...

Nothing for me. I am waiting for boxing day to hopefully pick up a few goodies. Items on my wish list: my first scuba hoodie, long warm tights, and that's about it! I have a closet full of stuff that I barely get to wear since I gravitate towards the same items, so I don't want to purchase too much more.

Anonymous said...

Me, too, Anon 5:07. The *SE stuff this year totally supports the young in the club but not the yogis and runners in reality. Was hoping for ruffles! Can't have enough!

Anonymous said...

Got the Paradise Grid CRB and Tracker Shorts. Will choose just one to keep. I just want a little bit of that pattern in my wardrobe! Feels like I've been waiting forever for it.

Anonymous said...

If I where to give give a grade for 2014 Holiday uploads it would be a "C". I am tired of black and grey clothing. I have enough and can not justify another dark color top or bottom. I miss the ruffles, special details and color.

LuluAddict said...

I liked all the herringbone and pique we got this season but it would be nice if we got some colors in pique or herringbone, kind of what like the Ivivva side got. It's kind of weird the Dog Runner pants weren't released this fall. I was hoping for a Sherpa pullover, too, like the Don't Hurry Be Happy or the Post Chaturanga Pullover.

@ nausiated 7:57 PM - Do you realize you are reading a LLL "addict" blog?

Anonymous said...

Extremely lame Winter offerings, IMO. They could have made a killing if they just tried a little bit. Only thing I was pleased with were the Scubas, I liked the new designs. That's about it. I'm East Coast too so I don't mind the darker greys, we like it conservative, but color every now and then is good too. Sigh, this company will never learn, will they?

@ 7:57 pm, a little reminder that the theme of this blog is Lululemon addiction, not so cryptically indicated by the web address luluaddict.com. If you come here looking for discussion about solving the world's problems, you will be mildly disappointed.

got the waterbound bra and the water bound short. I don't think any of the swim stuff will be at my local store so I figured I would order them. love these items for sailing in the caribbean.

I might get the swiftly and can't decide on cold weather running pants yet.

Personally I love all the black and grey with different textures they have coming out this winter. It is so much better for layering and mixing with street wear, I love that you can wear it with so many different leather boots and sweaters. I am more then happy to keep the bright colours in the gym or yoga studio. I had a baby 3 months ago so I find comfortable clothing is the most important to me right now. Keep it coming with the nice neutral palette Lululemon, I for one love it.

My 14 yo daughter says she'd wear the onsies so there must be some kind of market for them

For the win

Having an Old English Mastiff makes me tempted to contemplate the onesie. He drools a ton and I am most likely to be found in my home wearing comfortable warm clothes and change into street clothes when I leave the house. I however am 38 and won't consider it until it's made it WMTM because as far as I'm concerned C$168 is too much for a drool towel.

The last several Lulu uploads have been lemons for me (which is probably good, since I'm suppose to be buying for other people!)
Thank you, LLA, for all the time and effort you spend on this awesome blog! I've gotten so much good feedback from you and commenters as to fit and quality of garments, I think you all have saved me a lot of money, as well as the inconvenience of ordering the wrong sizes. Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to everyone! You ladies (and occasional men, I'm looking at you, Eric) rawk!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 10:03 am - I did spend a ton on picking up various pique/herringbone items this season so I am all set for cozy warm items. The only think I would really like is a butt-covering windbreaker/rain type jacket and I think those were already out. I also wouldn't mind a few more solid ls tops, like a cabin ls or something like that, to pair with my herringbone bottoms.

I'm going to try your approach -- I buy online, and then return it to the store and re-buy it for cash. My husband is getting a little tired of the black-and-white packages that dot our doorstep weekly. I can usually head off the FedEx guy and sneak it in, but not always. Luckily he's a little clothes-blind, as all Lulu looks roughly the same to him so he usually doesn't notice me wearing new clothing. I say. 'Huh?! I've had this forever!!' a lot. First-world problems indeed...

we are somewhat boosting the economy by obsessively buying lulu. Something good there I guess.
