I love it when stores show the items in a range of sizes... good job!

New uploads are on Thursday instead of Tuesday now?

Hi Luluaddict!

I was wondering if you received your fluff off jacket and what you thought of it in terms of the fit. Is it a TTS item, is it warm enough for hiking in the snow? How is it in terms of mobility? puffiness?

I have the st. moritz jacket from years ago and find it to be a bit on the bulky side.

Thanks!

@ anon 8:32 pm - I did get it. I think it's a snug TTS. I'm reading the reviews on line that say if you plan to use it for running with a tank underneath, the fit is TTS to keep it snug so the cold doesn't creep in but if you want to layer for out and about you might want to size up. It fit me tight across the chest. I really didn't assess how warm it was since I zipped it up and said, oops, too tight and took it right off. It's not at all bulky or puffy, though.

Maybe some others can chime in about fit and performance in the cold? The reviews on line are very positive about it. I know my sister bought two of the Fluff Off pullovers from last year for winter running in Oregon and she bought the Ultra Violet one the other day.

@ anon 7:40 pm - Per Hey, Lululemon.com, lululemon is going to be having twice weekly uploads, Tuesday and Thursday, from now until Boxing Day.

Okay! I know this one sounds confusing. Now that we're in the holiday season (snuck up on us, didn't it?!), we're having two drops during the week - one on Tuesdays and one on Thursdays."

I have last year's Fluff Off pullover, and I use it for outdoor winter running (I live in a very cold-winter climate and run outdoors all year). It works well for me in the temp range of, say, -5F to +5F, but that's layered over a light tank and a rulu pullover. I would never wear it directly against my skin - the feel is too slick, and I don't think it would be warm enough on its own. I don't find any lulu down items to be particularly warm, no matter how they advertise them (they really skimp on the amount of feathers they put in, IMO), and if I were doing anything less heat-generating than running, I don't think the Fluff Off would be very warm. I do love mine, though.

I also have two fluff off pullovers and I find them to be very warm.. I only wear them in temps under 20F and what I wear underneath usually depends on the temp and the wind. My core gets very hot with rulu and a tank but both my jackets have good core venting. I have a bright yellow and a black. If I am opting for more visibility on a grey day I reach for the bright yellow. Both are my tts and have ample room for a tank and swiftly or rulu mid layer (if it is very cold). I have never worn mine with a tank only just because I have other weight jackets to wear instead. I just picked up the UV flurry fighter. One feature they didn't highlight in the web site picks is that there is a drawstring on the inside of the neck so you can cinch it tight. That sold me because I thought it might let to much air in other wise and the flopping around would have bugged me. I have the nike one that is similar from a few years back but I love the glove pockets on the back of the FF for doggie bags or for actual gloves
