Yeesh, those Cabin Wraps are so thin-looking and see-through in the lighter colors. Any reports on warmth/thickness?

Received my Tuesday upload order. The water bound hoodie and bra in ombre wave are so gorgeous that they look like artwork. They fit so beautifully too. Flamingo tomato crops are so thick, compressive, and soft. I am glad that I went with my larger size though. The biggest surprise was the paradise grid CRB. Even though the fabric is 94% polyester, it is thick and silky smooth, not scratchy at all. The pattern is stunning in person. I am very picky and this is the first time I am keeping everything from an online order. I am also happy that I am getting colored items among the greys and blacks.

Great job, Lulu!

@ anon 4:06 pm - did you happen to buy any Water Bound bras from this summer in the Wamo Camo or Burlap print? The Water Bound bras all varied in stretchiness, i.e., the Burlap was the least stretchy/most supportive, then Wamo Camo, then Blue Tropics. I am wondering where in the Burlap to Blue Tropics stretchiness scale the new WB bras fall, if you happen to know.

@anon 4:06 pm here. I own the water bound bra in wamo camo too. I just compared the two, both in size 4. The one in ombre wave is about 1/2" larger in band circumference and at least as stretchy or maybe even more stretchy than wamo camo. LLA, you should try the size 10. I am absolutely in love with the pattern.

Does anyone know the fit of the cabin LS? The LS says it is slim fit and the wrap says loose fit.

@ anon 4:06 pm - thanks!! Good to know. One reason I got the Wamo Camo and the Burlap bras were because they weren't too stretchy and I could actually wear them for running. I think my stores have the bras so I need to make a point to visit since the Paradise Grid pattern is sold out on line now.

@ anon 4:41 pm - from every fit review I've read the LS is TTS and some people even size up for more length. I've read it is NOT a size down item.

I tried on the Cabin LS today. I'm between a 4 and a 6. The 6 fit but was a little baggy through the middle. I liked the longer length but some reviews said they stretch out a lot, and them it would be too big... The 4 fit me better through the body but was a little shorter and the sleeves were tight at the bicep. I passed because I didn't think either size looked particularly flattering on me but I would have went with the 4.

So bummed! Got my houndstooth WUPs today and my regular size 4 is totally sheer. I had my husband take photos for me in a deep squat (looks like I'm wearing black pantyhose) and in a forward bend (can totally see my skin and undies) and even just standing straight up you could faintly see the white tag. Not sure if sizing up would help because they "feel" like my other non sheer WUPs. Also they were a bit camel toey.

anon @8:27 -

I got my houndstooth WUPs today too. Size 6. Mine weren't sheer, actually, but I was disappointed with them too. I didn't really like the feel of the fabric, or print, as much as I expected too. They are a different feel, and I think some people will like it and others won't. For me, I think I am better off waiting for something else that I am more sure I loved.

But if it's sheerness that's your issue, perhaps you can try another pair in store and you'll have better luck... Only saying because I am confident that the pair I had were not sheer. Sadly much is luck of the draw these days...

@anon 8:27- I started out with a 4 and felt comfortable sizing down to a 2 (I choose between the two sizes assuming they're both available in a style). Definitely not sheer on me in either size. Hope you just got a dud, they're really elegant and nicely made. Otherwise the scuba is a really close 2nd, and I'm not a hoodie person.

I had the crb in the paradise grid...was the cheapest looking, most scratchy lulu tank I have ever scene. Was so disappointed because I love the pattern.

the cabin LS shirts look like trouble..between them looking thin and those holes in the shoulder area. Seems like they will stretch out really easy.

Did anyone else's local store have crazy markdowns? I bought hot cheeks shorts, and two ebb and flow racerback tanks for $24 a piece!!!

@HoyHoy - I've been seeing people getting some great deals on my facebook groups.

I love finding great deals in store! I just bought a pair of Hot Cheeks shorts on eBay this week because I wanted last year's goose down version; I got them NWT below retail, so I assume they were cleared out last year at the end of the season.

I got two Open Your Heart LS tops on markdown today (Inkwell and Black) and am surprised by how much I love them. They look kind of frumpy in most of the pics I've seen but I sized down (they only had one of each) and I really love the fit.

I also bought a third Think Fast Pullover in black; I've been trying to talk myself out of it for a couple of weeks but I love them.

My store didn't have many markdowns at all; I have a feeling they're stockpiling them for Boxing Day.

Do you think the model in these photos has sized up in the Cabin Yogi wrap or is she just petite (shorter)? It seems much longer on her than in other photos.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 8:52 pm - the sleeves look super long on her so I'd bet she really sized up.

yeah the paradise grid pattern even in the water bound shorts seems a bit stiff. I always wash my stuff before wearing I think it will soften. The water bound bra in the ombre patter is really nice and I am glad I got it. I use those for running swimming and sailing.

hot cheek shorts for 24$ what a deal. I am really getting use of my 2 pairs. I prefer the synthetic filling on them. I will check my local to see if they have any markdowns, last time I checked I didn't see anything that exciting.
