Some comparison photos and measurements of the new Pique Think Fast Hoodie and the Tech Fleece Flurry Fighter Pullover. Both pullovers weighed the same, at 1.11 lbs. The Think Fast is 2" longer than the Flurry Fighter, 28" vs. 26". The width at the armpits was the same. The width at the bottom hem was 1.5" wider on the Flurry Fighter but the Think Fast has a gathered elastic band at the back. Both fit TTS, though the pique has more stretch so might feel looser. The arms on the pique are a little looser feeling.

The Think Fast Hoodie wins the pocket roominess category. I can fit my iphone 5S in its case (a Lifeproof for a size reference) in both but it's a tight squeeze in the Flurry Fighter.

I thought this pique looked familiar. The top on the right is a Turn Around LS.

So, which one are you keeping? :)

Do you like one more then the other or are you keeping both?

I"m going to keep both. I bought two Flurry Fighter POs, in black and UV, and am probably going to return the UV and keep the black.

Oh man, this is the post I needed! Thanks for the comparison. I think I want both event MORE now than I did before! I see enough difference in design (and I think I would wear enough) to justify both. This is going to be a VERY expensive December!

How does the Think Fast pique compare to last year's Base Runner? I have a wee stripe Base Runner that looks very similar, but I know the Base Runner fabric is so thick and soft, like butter. In addition, how does the Think Fast sizing compare to the Flurry Fighter? I know you said it's 2 inches longer, but is the fit consistent? For me I felt the Flurry Fighter was slightly larger TTS

@ anon 6:23 pm - I never tried on the pique Base Runner, just bought the black one. I know the pique on the Think Fast is thick and super soft, and appears to be very similar to that used in the Turn Around LS. To me, the Think Fast is very similar to the Flurry Fighter - roomy-ish TTS. Not enough to size down, though.

@Meg - I think you would want a Flurry Fighter especially in windy conditions. The Flurry Fighter is more outerwear, where I consider the Think Fast more like an apres piece or layering piece.

I need the UV flurry fighter. I can't find it locally!!

The flurry fighter is amazing. I'm wearing mine as we speak.

Your review of the think fast is making me want one! Especially the favourable comparison to the beloved turn around piqué! I usually find these higher necks / fold over necks aren't flattering on larger busts, making a shelf boob...but did you find that the case? I'm assuming not because of your obv love for it! Thanks for the thorough review / comparison.
