NEW!! Herringbone Think Fast Hoodie (Oh Ma Ga) (Updated)
New Think Fast Pullover Hoodie in Silver Spoon/Slate Herringbone (posted from a US lululemon store.) Ugh! Just this morning my husband left a Quicken printout of my spending on my car seat (Hey...Christmas presents? To myself??) and then this shows up (herringbone rulu and tech fleece is going to be the end of my marriage). Decisions, decisions. This looks very similar to the Base Runner hoodie so I wonder if the problems with that top have been fixed (tight neck, tight arm cuffs) in this one. Shown with the Unbreakable Print Speed Tights. I cannot wait to see more details on this. Please let it have a zip pocket. I have to say from this one photo, the fit looks snug. I always assume the eds reach for their typical size and don't deliberately size down. The model and more store photos will tell us more.
Update - price is $98 and it also comes in a light gray pique (gah!!!). (Thanks to Ms. T. for the scoop.)
Update II - reader lulu writes in to say the ed in the photo is wearing her regular TTS 4 so if you want a roomier fit, size up.

I think the eds *always* size down and try to make everyone else size down too.
What are we expecting tonight? Not seeing much new stuff...
These pics are from my Lulu!!! She's wearing a 4 which is her TTS so some may want to size up! I'm holding a 10 and 12 and will be running in later this evening :)
I hear ya LLA about the hubby issue, LOL..I'm getting the same flack.
The lack of a zipper for ventilation makes this a pass for me, thank goodness! Otherwise, it's a cute top.
I have absolutely no need for pants but I NEED those pants!!!
@lulu - thanks!!! Do you know the other colors this top is coming in.
My store said they got 2 colors , the one pictured and a light grey Tonka stripe similar to the recent grey striped vinyasa but no contrast color on cuffs and waist band so I only held the herringbone silver spoon with contrasting cuffs and waist band that are black :)
Relieved that I don't like this, more cash to spend on other things! Hooded pullovers make me feel claustrophobic; I need to know that I can make a quick escape using a zipper. Anyone else have this issue or am I just weird?
Canadian eh - I'd love to know what we're supposed to be getting tonight as well! I'm feeling anxious to know more so than usual today!
I just got my Black Giant Herringbone Define in the mail today! Love it so much! It is snugger fitting than all of my older defines and my formes, but from what I understand it's the herringbone fabric that makes it snugger and not that they are sized differently since making a comeback. I'm normally a size 4 and got this one in size 4 as well, it is definitely snugger fitting. I'm going to keep it because even though it is a snug fit, it still fits well without looking too small and I can still zip it up (a little snugger than ideal over the bust but I wear a 32E TaTaTamer!) and wear it comfortably, but will only be able to wear it with tanks, Swiftly tops or other lighter tighter fitting tops under it. It's really gorgeous and flattering in the black giant herringbone!
It looks like a zippered pocket to me :) I swear I can see the metal zipper pull lol
LOL @ Quicken print out!!!!
LLA- Ok, I just purchased the Flurry Fighter Pull Over which took a lot of research on my part because I am not a fan of pull overs. So I ask, is the Think Fast Hoodie just a pull over or is it a technical piece as well? Love the herringbone :(
Too funny about your husband. Mine had a lulu intervention for me where he took all my scubas and other jackets (there are at least 50) and put them on a chair so I would see them when I got home. I feel my shopping is my business (we have separate accounts), but I know it affects him. Thanks for being real, this addiction is a hard one to beat. I order things every week.
LLA your post is too funny, I love your candour.
I'm pretty good about controlling myself but there is always something new and lovely to want! Right now I want a few things but will hold off.
Also, in talking to a friend today who is on her own with her kids, (and is very responsible) I know she's having trouble making some ends meet. I'm going to give her cash or a bank gift/credit credit card that's decent. She works so hard and is an awesome person and her ex is such an a**.
oh ma ga is right! but i was wearing my base runner hoodie today and i DO love it - love the neck and the hood, haven't noticed any problem with the sleeves. however, i've not managed to find any think fast or other rulu tops that i love this year, and this hoodie might be The One! ruh roh!
@anonymous @ 1:41 PM - i think my husband would have an intervention too but the fact that we have separate accounts probably prevents him! also, i think he pretends he doesn't notice, and (i think) i am good at sneaking stuff in.
tried on the pullover today and arms are larger than last years. I could wear both 4 and 6 comfortably (6 is my usual size). For reference, I am 5'5", 120, 32dd and am narrow at hips with full bust. The pullover fully covers my rear in both sizes.
Haha! I send my Lulu stuff to my work address to avoid setting off my Hubby's Lulu radar! The Fed Ex guy knows me well!
Entirely too tight! Very unattractive in that size. Wear what fits no matter the number.
@ 7:34 PM. Agree too tight, especially when viewed in the side angle photo.
I love this thread about husbands, quicken statements, sneaking stuff in, and shipping to work because I can relate to all of that. If only our husbands understood our addiction. I am super pleased with this year's holiday drops.
I am in the same boat as you ladies.
I have to admit that I have a lulu problem, the only positive is that it keeps me going to the gym.
M
Lol, when I named this blog 'Lululemon ADDICT' it wasn't to be cute or clever, it was the truth. :P However, I don't think an addiction to gym clothes is the worst thing out there. Sometimes having a new piece to wear to the gym or on a run is what gets me over my inertial hump and my rear out the door. In fact, if my neighborhood was giving out awards for Best Dressed, my Sequin Snakeskin Speed Tights would have won for sure, bwahaha. My local Costco got treated to their awesomeness, too.
When is the think fast hoodie coming to canada??? i must have it!
Cute, LLA, Agree on clothing being a motivator and adding to feeling good. I'm probably not as addicted as some but I definitely have a lot. I keep it quiet, lol. Recently I sold some stuff and mentioned to a friend that I sold 5 CRBs at once and she went "how can you sell that many at once? how many do you have?!" (She has and knows what CRBs are. She has maybe 5 total.) The great thing about CRBs is that they ALL get worn, almost one every day. My CRB count is around 25 now. It's a lot but not as much as some people :) I don't judge you, I get it! However, it does feel good to move some stuff on, especially what is not getting worn. I'm being very selective about any new purchases.
I have to hold off on not talking too much to other people about LLL who don't get it, because it can be TMI and they think I'm crazy, lol. When for example, I recommend wmtm online for sale items, they think they can wait to come back to buy an item they saw. I warn them that depending on what it is, it may be sold immediately and you'll miss your chance. All I can do is give the tip. I don't really care if they think I am odd!
