Is it just me or are those Shine Trousers doing something really weird at the crotch? (Fourth group of photos down from the top)

Those Houndstooth WUPs are sooo cool! Can't wait for mine to arrive! Although I love pops of color both on top and bottom, I find that I can pull off more Lulu at work with the blacks and grays for bottoms. These will be killer!

Why oh why does Lulu keep putting out the ugly drop crotch pants? To get away from the camel toe accusations?

Seems lately they are on one end of the spectrum or another - no happy medium. We wanted pique and herringbone but then they do EVERYTHING in pique and herringbone all at the same time - overload. It's like the designers don't know what to do with customer feedback correctly and in moderation. Then they say "you wanted pique, so we gave it to you and it didn't sell". Ya, because we don't want it in EVERYTHING all at the same time. *sigh* This company can be very frustrating.

I wish they understood when we want something and ask for something we want 1-3 good quality well fitting, well designed items in that. We wanted camo speeds - then they have released 5? 6 different camo but not a single one had fun colored trim - which is what we really wanted. Black or green camo with bright pink or blue or something as the trim.

I know i'm rambling but for a company that has been around for as long as they have they seem really clueless and out of touch with their customer base.

I can't disagree with the herringbone/pique overload. I feel I've bought just about all the herringbone and pique items I'll ever need, barring a major change of size.

I love herringbone and pique, but I felt I bought all the h/p items I would ever need LAST year, and have only bought one this year. Because... last year they were mostly black and gray and white, and this year they are too. The only item I bought this year was the pique top in green; I normally don't wear green, and I just bought it to take a look, expecting to return it, but the moment I tried it on, I loved it, and I still do. I'm longing for other colors in the herringbone and pique fabrics - I'd be buying like mad if that happened. Purple! Blue! Remember the surge pique last year? That was gorgeous! More of that!

9:25 I totally understand your frustration, but it seems that lulu is following along with what is in trend high fashion wise, which isn't for everyone. the whole big sweater and vest as well as the drop crotch thing is the new trend at the moment.
Unfortunately, it only works with certain bodies. I am to short to wear that stuff.

Hmm just can't make customers happy. LLL was on an ugly run for the longest time there, with a lot of juvenile stuff and misses. Now they offer better/the best in camo, herringbone and pique and people are saying it's too much. I agree with LLA past comments that they could have done more with herringbone and pique when it comes to color in those versions. But generally I believe it's a case of "damned if you do, damned if you don't"

I'm not saying they can't be more creative. Although apparently creativity leads them to this &Go stuff which I hate, and things like Quickchange vests and jackets (ick).

@ 6:01 - lol on the &Go and Quickchange vest snark - so true! Eh, women like to complain. I like all the cozy stuff we got this fall and from the newest Britt's picks showing a Flare Race with Grace it looks like some bright color is coming.
