Nope, I cringe at the thought of onesie...even my elementary school daughters will not wear any onesie style!

My brown/black giant herringbone WUP came yesterday, but I'm going to have to size up. I have my herringbone WUP in my regular size and it fits compressive yet comfortable, but the giant herringbone is much more snug. Both pairs pass the bend over test.

The latest Britt's Picks has a slightly better version of the onesie in all black (I have no words for how ugly the floral print is), but it's still a hideous garment. I cannot for the life of me understand why the typical Lulu customer (rather fit) would want to create the silhouette of an auto mechanic. Ok, not everything needs to be body con, but really, you can come up with a lot better line than that.

What else can you tell us about the beat the sleet pants? Do they have a double layer of fabric?

And no, I will most certainly not be buying that onesie. It is horrid. Maybe people will buy it to go to "Golden Girls" parties and dress up like Blanche.

A gigantic, floral patterned, Onesie!!! THAT is not for the faint of heart...

OT: LLA, do you remember seeing black fitted jacket more like blazer lately? It's a dressier piece with button closure. I believe there's 1 button but I can be wrong, only saw it once on the picture. It showed up 3-4 weeks ago , Ty!

single layer. I bought my WUP size and can fit a pair of leggings underneath. I would not size up if you're planning on layering.

that is, I would not size up *even* if you're planning on layering

If I didn't already have a lot of jumpsuits I would consider the black onesie. For older Lululemon customer I can't imagine this item will be popular. But jumpsuits, onesies, rompers have been in for several years. I have a couple great ones from Isabel Marant. Then again I live in somewhat fashion forward city (LA) so this look isn't anything unusual.

It's not the fact that it's a onesie that is the problem, it is that it is simply ugly and tasteless. There are jumpsuits out there to be had by other retailers if one wants one, and many that are elegant and stylish, which this one is not. I would not even waste my money on the black one.

I'm with you. We New York ladies rock rollers (albeit with a little more style) in most seasons. Any haters can check out the playsuits and jumpsuits of the 40s-60s in any book on fashion. Style is about how you wear it. Just because a garment doesn't look good on a hanger or one specific person doesn't mean you can't bring some life and personality to it.
