Some close ups of the Sequin Snakeskin Speed Tights.

The back side of the material is a medium gray so print doesn't fade a lot when stretched.

The Arsenal Ambient Gray compared to the Sequin Snakeskin Speed Tights. The snakeskin ones are a bit grayer overall.

My store didn't have too many new things. I returned my Nightfall Diamond Jacquard WUPS and Menthol Swiftly LS and got the Sequin Snakeskin Speed Tights. I think I will delay cutting the tags off until I can try on the Stained Glass Love Nightfall Speed Tights and make a decision between the two. The Snakeskin are fun though. I thought the fit TTS and are totally opaque.

Hey LLA--OT, but wasnt sure if youre aware of the change. Now, when you go do an online return in store, it doesnt count against that store's daily sales number! This is a new change in the last 3-6 months or so.

Just a shout out because I know people reported before that educators didnt seem as friendly at times when handling online returns. Now, they should be pretty chipper, especially if you return an online item and still buy something.

I personally don't get all the hype about the sequin snakeskin speed tights. Or the other print that looks like fake beading. I wouldn't wear sequins or beaded pants to the gym so I don't see the appeal of these illusory prints. Maybe if it came in WUPs, I could see wearing them for a fun night out, but the technical gear in these prints, not for me.

Also OT:
The WMTM stock has been pulled from the US site. Have they done this in the past, to get ready for Thanksgiving? Or is this just a temporary thing?

Nevermind, WMTM is back up.

I bought both the Arsenal Ambient Gray and the Sequin Snakeskin Speed Tights yesterday. Tried them both on today. The snakeskin felt more compressive. Both tag say Full-On Lux. Anyone else experience that? Doesn't bother me one way or the other...

HOWEVER,I totally forgot about the Stained Glass Love Nightfall Speed Tights...thank you LLA for reminding me. I'm in the same bind, so I too shall wait to take tags off and see the stained glass love nightfall.

THANK YOU LLA!

hi anon 3:20 - i work @ lulu (seasonally) it's so awesome of you to put this out there - however, doing returns in store, if it's an on-line purchase it's coded as e-commerce has been for the 4 season's i've worked there - we should be "chipper" no matter what - in my opinion. also, sometimes the return is something we didn't get in store - so we love it b/c we can then also perhaps buy it using our ee discount!!

Are those snakeskin...things..a joke?

at the store i shop at (ontario) they are always delighted to take on-line purchases - they don't get much of that stuff in store so it sells fast - they don't fret if it is past 2 weeks nor if it is WMTM items....especially the HOT sellers.
I am pretty happy with customer service I receive at my store! I also scan the clearance rack for returned items, or other hot sellers that people return - especially when it is something I really wanted - like the FTBWB!!

I buy a ton of stuff online, and if I return I bring it to the store. I would hope that wouldn't go against their daily sales (I wouldn't think it would...) The educators there are often quite happy & chipper to grab what I've brought in. I'm in there quite a bit, and I don't like thinking that my online returns affect the store's sales!

Great pics of this print LLA. Looks so realistic! I may or may not buy the tight in this print.

As for wearing or not wearing pretend sequins in work out wear, to each one's own. I think some people want an element of fun or what's cool or funky for them, and this print serves that. Sequins are girly and done right, can be elegant. If you go for classic prints and patterns etc. that's great too. I'm mostly classic but I like the odd funky item. I definitely think this is more modern and funky cool versus some of the stuff they put out a year or two ago.

Agree 5:09 PM, I don't think I've ever gotten attitude here in Ontario. Even once when a md'd item sprung a hole, they gave a refund versus a store credit. They no longer had the item and I didn't want to commit to anything else.

The snake print will be awesome in roll-down WUCs and can be worn out very easily. The speed tights still look very "workout attire" to me though.

Would WMTM be up this week if there are two uploads? I'm hoping we'll get to see some Australian stuff uploaded too.

Along the lines of e-commerce and in-store returns, etc, does the store get credit for orders they help you place online? i.e. I go into a store and I love this jacket but they don't have my size, so the in-store educator offers to order it for me online. I say thank you, but I can easily order it myself if I decide to later on. Does that affect the store's sales numbers? Because if so, I would gladly order the item through the store if I'm in that situation again.

I have the same experience in my local store.

Snakeskin tights rocks or yuky depend on if it's on sexy toned long legs, or on fat big short legs. Imo, look down at your legs then decide if it's for you. I have short legs, so I won't bother.

@Anon 8:23 YES--ordering through the stores mobile devices does help the stores sales goal and the educators will love you for it.

Also, if you sign up for a stores specific Product Notification email (not the corporate one), and click through the links and make purchases within a few days of click a link, that store gets an added bonus to their paychecks from your purchase :)

I felt the fabric of the snake skin speed tights last night and it seems thin to me. the texture of the fabric was kind of slippery. I did not try them on or check for sheerness.
I will be checking it out again probably tomorrow.
