omg, that entire purple outfit is gorgeous - jacket, swiftly color and her bra color with tights and grey ear warmer and gloves. If only our climate warranted this warmth.

I had a chance to try on the Define in the Inkwell Tri-Geo..Love this print and color but not really loving the material of this Define..while thick I felt it was a little too Polyester for my liking..it just wrinkles a lot in different places and doesn't look all that attractive..I'd rather get the Scuba in this Print/color which unfortunately is currently sold out in all sizes but a 2 online..hopefully I will find it in a store :)

I like the solid BD Define, but in all honesty, whenever I see a Define with the contrasting Omega, it looks incredibly dated to me. Don't get me wrong, I once had a substantial collection of Define jackets, but have since sold them all off and have converted to a Forme fan. The Forme looks more fresh and current, just my opinion!

I like that the model in the pink bikini looks like a hot mom. I don't know if Lulu realizes how many of their customers are workout addicted mamas, and if I may speak for all of us, we would like to see more models like this woman!

love that ultraviolet swiftly. and i do not need another purple-family LS swiftly! somehow that's all i seem to have! power purple chevron, plum tonka stripe, and heathered lullaby (or something lullaby). maybe we can call ultraviolet "pink"?
also, i have to weigh in about the defines: i've never been a huge fan - i've got one left (sold 2) in bordeaux drama (with striped collar) and even though it's really nice, i don't reach for it. i tended to size up (to a 10) in defines because the back looked too tight, and the venting always folded up funny. but the 10 is really a bit too big. in my one forme (wee space cashew black), i got an 8, it's nice and fitted and i can still wear long sleeves under it, and the bottom hem hits in a better place. i can wear that as a regular jacket, whereas defines with the vent in the back always look like an exercise jacket no matter what, and at the same time look too corporate or something. i'm glad they make so many people so happy, but for me the current forme works better.
that said, give me a stride or in stride any day over any of the other longer jackets. but make some good colors in those!

@ anon 8:28 pm - That is exactly how I feel. I was resistant to the Forme when they came out, but once they added cuffins onto it, I embraced it as the more up to date, strealined look and Defines became passe to me.

@ lulu - I agree about the feel of the tri-geo print material. I tried on the Straight Up Pants and it was very polyester-y feeling.

i am Anon @8:40 and i feel the same way about the omega, too. i don't like that it screams "lulu". Forme = WIN!

Totally agree...I am wanting to like the Defines, but after seeing them online and in the store -especially the geometric print- they do seem somewhat dated because of the contrasting Omega symbol reminiscent of lulu circa 2011. I do like the length of the defines however and maybe in fresher patterns or colors, it may yet appeal.

@ anon 8:28 pm - 100% agree. Defines look dated and stale to me... Forme looks fresh. I certainly hope they're not replacing the Forme with the Define this time around!

@ anon 8:31 pm - I am not a mom... I'm unmarried and in my late 20s. But I was still thinking the same thing you were recently! I like the models they use, but I am surprised that they don't use more of a variety of models that reflect the people who buy and love the brand...

Hmm, based on the fit photos in this blog post, I'm not too crazy about the defines, the sleeves look too long, and it's a crumpled mess at the back. I'll need more convincing!

Agree with all the comments above but when is lulu going to make a swim top that actually provides adequate coverage? I bought a swim top this summer and am only a b cup - it feels like I'm falling out of it.

Totally agree about the Define Jacket. I understand the appeal but I never really got/get the hype and I wasn't sad at all to see it disappear. I'm fit and can wear this jacket but it is not for me. I never cared for the Forme jacket either. I much prefer my In Stride Jacket for the length and the collar. If I want to wear a fitted jacket, I wear my Dance Studio.

they do use a variety of models: been watching this blog and lulu for years the models come and go.... where have you been????
if you want plus size models call lulu or email hey lulu and take up ur beef there.

@ Anon 8:31pm - My reaction was exactly the same - a fit mom who is rocking the bikini! Total aside here - I'm not saying it is on LLL specifically, but it would be wonderful to see fit moms with post-partum 'stuff' just out there in general. No matter how lean I get, that stuff just ain't going away - it's always good to have a reminder that this is normal. We don't see it enough. Love that photo.

Would someone be able to tell me how warm the Speed Tights are compared to regular fleece lined running tights?

@ Anon 7:43, I agree 100% with your sentiments. While we may have seen older, non six pack rocking models in the past, it is extremely RARE to see them in BIKINIS. Many of us moms have that "stuff" going on. And, for those out there who say "well, that's your fault, you just need to work harder" Tell that to my spin teacher who is ripped and must have like 10% body fat (lover her but hate her lol). As a testament to her fitness level, she just ran a marathon with a time of 3:06. Yet, she is a mom and has that "stuff" going on. For some, it is just not going away, and yes, I too, agree that it is nice to see that it is normal.
