Upload!!!

Inkwell Black Pique Roll Down WUPs - US. Held my nose at the $102 price and ordered anyway.

Rust Berry Bumble Berry Pique Wunder Under Pants

Camp Check Savasana Softshell II - US

Coco Pique Race Your Pace LS - Canada (want this one)

Sashiko Inspires - $98! - Canada

$68 Petal Camo Speeds

Black "Grape" Sattva Pant - Canada

Meanwhile the color code on the tag is clearly Black Swan

Black "Grape" Rebel Runners - Canada

This tag shows that the trim is Black Grape and the body is Black Swan.

Speed Tight Jumo Inkwell Inky Floral  - Canada

Heathered Fuel Green Cotton Wunder Under Crops - Canada

Lululemon sandbagged our expectations with the Departure &Go lameness ($128 for pants made of swim fabric? Those are some good drugs the &Go group is on.), but it turns out they were sitting on quite a few new cute things. I held my nose at the $102 price tag and ordered the Inkwell/Black Pique Roll Down Wunder Under Pants. I also like the Coco Pique Race Your Pace LS that Canada got. That was it for me tonight. I should be good for cozy pants for this winter.

What did you order?

got the inkwell pique - hoping they are like my super soft old pique, if not they will go back, and since i'm tall and also a PS skirt-aholic i got the two new of those.... i really wanted that gorgeous purple fog but for some reason it was never offered in tall.

I got the Rebel Runners. Tempted by the coco pique top but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

what is up with the fluffin awesome jacket in black selling out of the size 4 within minutes of being up?! So flipping mad!

So upset that only the US got a bunch of stuff that I wanted - the new flowing with my omies tote, breath in tank, savasana softshell jacket, rocky road gusto wunder unders, etc etc

Totally agree with you on the &go collection - so blah & overpriced! Very disappointed today!
Did order the fuel green wunder under crops on the canadian site though.. so I did get something.

Luluaddict - LOVE YOUR BLOG! Check it daily!

Just got the rust berry pique WUP. Couldn't decide between those and the black pique that you got, but figured to go with color since I just got the herringbone WUP. What's up with the price difference between the two? I paid $92 and you paid $102. Is it because yours are roll down? Wowser these prices keep going up every week. I miss the days the WU's were $82... Lol

Ordered that coco pique LS- wanna see if it is worth being my one and only long sleeve plain LLL shirt ( not even a sweater) that I got not on sale. I do love my coco pique WUP from last year though.

Ordered green cotton WUC and BD here to there dress- will be catch and release for sure.

Amazed at the &go skirt price- only $-10 less than last year's lab edition skirt- thick one, with beautiful gold zipper, and pockets. I am sure it will end up on markdown.

I ordered the WUP in Pique Rust Berry / Bumble Berry. Color looks like it will be super saturated, and thankfully these bottoms don't have that awful lighter/darker visible contrasting, thick thread seam running from the waistband to both the rear & crotch areas that so many of the pants & shorts have ( i.e., the Speeds in dottie mum deep coal mauvelous/purple fog, the WUP in Plush petal/Deep Coal Ghost, etc.)

I bought this year's Roll Down Practice Cotton pant in Heathered Black, & I also bought this year's Herringbone WUP in Heathered Black. I don't need a 3rd black-toned roll down winter pant, so I passed on the Roll Down WUP in Luon Pique Inkwell Black.

OT: I sent back the Petal Camo Run Inspires from last week's upload: SHEER. Just plain awful.

I am trying to order the rustberry WU's, and bumbleberry & real teal s/s swiftlys but everytime I go to add them to my cart, I get a message saying they are out of stock. What the heck man? I guess they don't want my money today? All sizes are available but I can't add anything to my cart :(

Pique inkwell/black roll down WUP! Hope it is a good one. By the way, the inkwell denim Skinny Groove pills like crazy after one wash. I will bring it back to get my money back.

I got the Rocky Road Wowsa! 102US -- not sure if I am keeping - -I really haven't bought much in the lulu line for about three months now. Maybe I'm just lulu over saturated. There are a few items I am looking for -- skinny will in pique, or other interesting color, vinyasa scarf in interesting color and those rebel crops. .

What's up with the reflective speeds priced at $68?? No way... Never... Not gonna do it!

Nothing for me. Very little appeals.

I like the Coco Pique Race Your Pace LS and I'm the Canadian side so could order, but I can't justify this top. I already have it in triplet twin stripe berry yum yum heathered slate. Plus I bought the mauve stripe Race Your Pace 1/2 zip. And I have a lot of back LLL. I haven't taken the tags of either of those tops but will for sure be keeping the berry yum yum one. The 1/2 zip, though pretty, may be going back.

They are some nice WUs but I only have so much time to war mine. I'm happy I got the herringbone ones. I know they'll last years so I could justify the high price. It just can't be my habit.

I remember the black swan was renamed to black grape because some sort of trademark issues. An educator told me this last year.

Why is the big mat now 88$ when it used to be 68$ ????? I'm so turned off the new price increase. No longer a Lulu addict. Still have a look at uploads but not waiting for them in front of my computer.

reload the page. sometimes, especially if you 'open the link in new tab /window' it will show as out of stock. reload the page and see if that works.

Did I miss the flip your dog long sleeve?!?!

this is totally off topic, but i need sizing help! i really want to try the wide legged wonder pants that are on WMTM, and i was going to order them to try at full price (then return and wait for MD) but they marked 'em down before i got around to ordering.
can anybody give a fit review? i am usually between 6 and 8 in pants - sometimes i get studio pants in a 6, sometimes an 8; same with WUs. i take an 8 in shorts.
i tried on a 10 in store (a return) just to see how they were cut, and they were HUGE, but i could tell i would like them in the right size.
TIA for any input!

I got the here to there tank in Bordeaux drama.

Where are the Purple fog WUP?? Ugggggg

Anonymous said...

The flip your dog long sleeve is still available on line.

I was told black swan was renamed black grape because people kept complaining that the items they ordered weren't black (or dark blue) so to minimize confusion renamed it to black grape which is more intuitive as a dark purple color.

I'm getting more and more turned off by these price increases. Items I would have jumped on before is now making me pause or not buy altogether.

@ anon 8:32 pm - I was just reading that about the black swan vs. black grape name change. I guess they missed updating the color coding system on the hang tags. What is interesting is that the Rebel Runner crops have both colors on it - BSWN/WEGR (wee stripe grape) so it kind of indicates they are two different colors.

The price hikes are annoying. If things don't sell we'll see items get white stickered to a lower price soon enough. I think a majority of the items I have bought lately have gone to markdown.

LuluAddict said...

@Eric - interesting. So, they'll use the color code BSWN on the tags but on the website they'll call it Black Grape.

Purchased the Rocky Road WUP and the seek the heat crops.

I'm seriously considering The Rebel Runner jacket. I've been eyeing it up on the Canadian site. I also like the Bumbleberry SS Swiftly.

I agree - prices are getting outrageous - not that they were great before. I'm perfectly happy to wait for things to go to WMTM and if they don't then I can live without them.

@ anon 8:04 pm - I too wanted to buy the Wonder Pants for sizing in black and return them to buy the bordeaux but I guess they sold out because they are no longer on the website. I try to wear my LLL to work whenever possible and these would be perfect for work!

I don't get how we can instantly tell which pieces (i.e. &Go stuff) are probably going to go on mark down eventually and lulu can't! Like do they not have someone in the company looking at this stuff being like, ummmm that's NOT going to sell.....

L. Eller said...

These price increases stink and will definitely have me waiting for markdowns in the store (I buy a lot of my tops that way, anyway). I got the Rocky Road WUP ... but for $102 ... they probably are going back. I just spent $92 on the Herringbone pants. I can't afford to keep buying $100 pants every other week! Back in the spring, these pants would have been $82 like the beachscapes and Milky Ways.

Now I am waiting for the Bordeaux Drama Astro Wunder Under crops. They are not in either of my stores nor online. Where are they? I do want those ...

OT --- But when exactly has WMTM been going up? Assuming that it is a little less craptastic than last week, I may actually want to stay up for it. Thanks!

Re: the Big Mat being $88--it was initially put on floors at the same price and about 1-2 weeks later there was an announcement that it had a price change. But that was more than a year ago.

Upload was mostly weak this week.

And about the Black Swan--I'm internal and I've never heard of a trademark issue (though there has been one in the past, say, with with Run Response Shorts, which is now the Pacebreaker Short).

LuluAddict said...

@MB - Since you are an insider, do you know why my last two orders have come from Ohio? Now it takes a week to get to me in Southern California and it used to take two days. Is it merchandise dependent or is California now getting things from the Ohio center?

MB. said...

@LLA I'm not involved in shipping, but I do know that the two shipment centers do not have exactly identical merch. There's an automated method/algorithm used to see where your shipment will come from that takes into account your location (hence you are less likely to get shipments from Ohio), but it's dependent on what inventory levels are at the two centers (including how many other people from that area ordered similar items, etc). Hope that helps.

Thanks, MB!

I may be the only one who bought the big puffer coat.... Lol ... Though if no sizes or colors are sold out in two weeks, it will go back and re-purchased on WMTM!

Most of my shipments come from Ohio now, which for me means overnight shipping...yay!

Those petal camo speeds are a prime example of the incompetency of Lulu's design team. On what plane of existence does it make sense to place reflective material on the upper portion of shorts which will be covered by your tank or shirt??? And just to see if their customer base are complete idiots, they charge an extra $14 for this completely useless feature.

Anonymous said...

OMG the reflective speeds are freaking amazing. I picked those up today. Not happy about the price but paying for that is the only way to get them. No regrets.

Here we go again with the WMTM. Where is it?!

LuluAddict said...

WMTM hasn't been showing up until the early morning hours on Thursday and was basically a no show last week.
