Petal Camo Inspire Crops, Rebel Runner Crops, and More (Updated)

Update: Check it out - Petal Camo Inspire Crops. Even better than Wunder Under Crops. I think these are Petal Camo Wunder Under crops. I'm thinking these are full on luon with an embossed print but I suppose they could be fullux. They look kind of matte for fullux, though.  I'll update once I know more.

The Rebel Runner crops have hit the store. My second Bordeaux order went through and mine are due to day. I'll post photos when they arrive.

My bordeaux rebel runners arrived today (thank you OH shipping center!). Love, love, love. Probably one of my favorite lulu purchases in awhile. I'm 5'6" and these stop about 2" above my ankles. Silky soft with medium compression, and very opaque. The subtle floral pattern is very flattering as well. The waist stops about a 1/2" under my belly button. And my iphone fits perfectly and very securely in the back zipper. There's like a channel in the waistband so you can slide your phone quite a way inside.
To the person unsure about what colors to wear with bordeaux, it looks great with pinks, navy, of course black, creams, charcoal grey, etc. Antedote, juicy pear-yellows work well too.

@ anon - ooh! Good to know. The other colors that work well with bordeaux are the oranges like Creamsicle Pop and Pop Orange.

My bordeaux rebel runners arrived today too! I ordered the 6 hoping it would fit my small 4 frame. They do not :-( I adore them, from the subtle floral pattern (really is "embossed", don't know how this is don) to the length/cuffed ankles and side pockets. I am trying to justify keeping them although they are too big but I really cannot. I hope they show up in a 4 or 2!

Hi Again!

(same anon as before with RR crops!)

The rest of my try-ons:

Pleat to Street skirt is much cuter than I anticipated. I got a 6 because I was worried that the 4 would be too short for my taste, and it's really cute. I'm 5'3", mostly legs. Its fine in the waist surprisingly, but the inner shorts do not fit as tightly boogie shorts, which is fine with me! I got the BD, ghost/heathered slate, and dottie mum/mauvelous. Not sure which I'll keep, but I'm leaning toward the dottie mum (which looks like a cute but subtle vintage pattern!) and BD. I think the quality is great and the price is surprisingly reasonable.

My piece de resistance is the petal camo speed tights. To risk sounding like a crazy person, speed tights are probably my favorite Lulu item. They're a classic speed and the pattern is beautiful and subtle (like the RR crops). The bottom part which is more obvious in the photo is reflective. Luxtreme is so nice and compressive. I'm used to wearing a 2 (I always find them on sale) but ordered a 4, both work well for me. Same with the BD speeds. Keeping both!

Last items! Swiftly tank space dye heathered purple fog, beautiful color but might hold out for long sleeve.

LLA, did you see the hideous (alright, not-my-taste) new WUP in "twin stripe sizzle" that they stealthily uploaded? Its black with an odd chevron up the sides of the legs à la pineapple weirdness, which somehow have avoided WMTM for several months (and are STILL available in 6,8,10!).

Hyper stripe bordeaux drama bumble berry/bordeaux drama pace tight is meh. I don't love the BD panels on the sides and am not the biggest fan of BB. They're a little too Christmas-y for this Jew!

Oh rebel runner ladies - how do you find the fit compared to the run for fun crop (my favourite)? I love higher waisted crops...

Also, I do hope those petal camo are roll down wunder unders... I'd even pay the stipid extra $$.. maybe. :P

the top photos are run inspires - you can see the stripes on the calves.

@ anon 11:1 0 am - thanks! You are right - you can see in the close up of the leg. Even better news, then, than WUCS.

Have waaay to many run crops but zero Lux pants. I have tech fleece as it gets down to below zero for 2 months straight where I live. LOVE the petal Camo and snagged the Speed Tights. The $108 price tag is prob the only thing preventing their sellout. Yet, they ate only $10 more than regular STs and have a unique pattern plus discretely hidden high reflectivity. I bought them immediately and do not regret it.

I just tried on the Petal Camo inspires and they were probably the sheerest lulu pants I've ever tried! I could clearly see my light pink underwear just standing straight. I tried the Rebel Runner crops and they were nice but I didn't love the rusty color. The bumble berry pace tights were nice but they bagged behind my knee. Returned my Awesoma Henley (pulls at bust) and LS Race Your Pace (the sides panels were oddly unflattering and I have a small waist!)

Went in to exchange a pair of shorts, and walked out with the race your pace half zip and the rebel runner in petal camo. I didn't even know they were in petal camo, but there they were. Super happy as I prefer a higher waist than inspires. Interestingly they were $4 more than the plain black rebel runner, but $6 less than the bordeaux. I agree that the half zip is pricy, but I have trouble walking away from rulu and it is so very beautiful on.

Thank you so much anon 10:28 and LLA! Love color matching! Gives me ideas!!!!

As for the fit I found them very similar to my run wild crops! Although they sat higher on my waist than the run wild! The compression was similar! The Bordeaux is gorgeous in the luxtreme! I am IN LOVE! Was planning to return! Now that I have color combinations and love the fit.... TOTAL KEEPER!

Dammnit!! My crops are coming from effing Ohio and won't be here until Tuesday. The Ohio warehouse is not a winner for me.

@LLA - agree on the OH warehouse. While it's great for some, I ordered the pleat to street skirt on Tuesday and didn't get the shipping confirmation until Thursday afternoon. Originally when I ordered, they were predicted to be here today, but after they were shipped it was updated to 9/16. Grrrrrrr.

Isn't it irritating, LLA? I used to receive my orders from the Sumner warehouse a day or two after I ordered. Since the Groveport warehouse started shipping, the majority of my orders have come from there, and they take a week to arrive.

Are the petal camo rebel runners full on luxtreme?

I thought LLL would ship from the closet warehouse so the customer would receive their order in a timely manner. It usually took about a week to receive my order from Sumner. Now it's just 2 days from Ohio to MI

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 5:51 pm- are you kidding? Boo! I haven't ordered too much since it opened, just those crops and a bumble berry CRB and the CRB came in my (formerly?) standard two days. Waiting a full week for my order blows. I can understand why east coasters were so annoyed.

My first order after the new warehouse opened was split into two shipments, one from each warehouse, which I thought was odd, but no big deal. Since then, two out of three orders have come from OH, and I live less than 200 miles from Sumner! You would think the warehouse inventories would be redundant, but that would make too much sense. This is lululemon we are talking about, after all.

Anon@10:40PM, Petal runners are just regular Lux. And they are sheer IMO. Going to return it tomorrow instead of exchang, because everything I tried so far in this pattern is sheer, including inspires and speed tight. I gave up on this pattern because I am tired of testing and returning...:(

In regards to shipping I am in New York and ordered the hotty hot skirt from WMTM last week and was hoping my shipment would not take over a week since the new warehouse opened.
I am still waiting. the lulu warehouses must be so unorganized.
