my store hot 4 different colors of the half zip. They seem so thin for $98. I left with out one but I love the half zips. I am trying to convince myself I need another. I was returning my heathered coal inspires. The luxtreme was to thin for me. I tried on the pace crops and thought they were very cute but also very thin. To thin for $92. Like tights thin. I was able to pick up the herringbone WUP. They are thick. Does anyone run in theirs?
anon@1:19 i agree with you on the thinness of both the top and the crops, i think people are getting use to the cheaper material which is why it is now selling better. i occasionally practice yoga in herringbone - but i think it would be way to hot to run in...
I love the fit and the look of these bordeaux rebel runner crops, but sadly I found them too sheer so they will be going back. Huge bummer! But on a positive note, I tried on the Run Away tee in my local store and love love love it. I normally wear a 6 in the 105 singlet and a 10 in the Scuba and Forme jackets and got this in an 8. The sleeves, while not loose, are comfortable since the fabric is so light and airy. And I actually like the slightly longer sleeve as it's just a different look and perhaps a little dressier if that even makes sense. I love the cut and the way it hangs. I bought it in Bumble Berry but will definitely be considering the Almost Pear and/or the Purple Fog versions available on line. My store didn't have those.
Got my Inky Floral Embossed Bordeaux Rebel Runner crops via Fedex today in my usual 8 and they seem a bit looser than normal. Ordered a 6 to compare. I will say, though aside from the fit being looser than the usual 8s IMO, they are gorgeous so hopefully the 6s will be perfection.
Tried floral French terry scarf- will go back, white side looks like a towel, small print pleat to street skirt will also go back as it exacerbates my bigger butt and thighs- will wait til Canada FINALLY gets them in solid colors. Bumble berry DSJ is a keeper. First DSJ for me, color goes with everything and sooo, soooo soft
Got the bordeaux rebel runners and they are going back. I'm usually a 4 in running crops but tried for a 6 because that is what I go with in speed shorts and in the flows. Size 6 was way to loose in the rebel runners, no compression. Also, I didn't like the zippers. Just not my thing.
I also got my sashico print speed shorts and those are keepers. They look awesome in person and they are the yummy 4 way stretch material. They look really good with a lot of my colored tops, especially tender violet, surge, clear mint, paris perfection, bali breeze, and of course, bumble berry. I don't need yet another pair of speeds, but happy I got them! They are a great neutral and cuter than straight up inkwell.
I also found the half-zip to be thin and kind of shiny, like polyestery printed CRB's. Not quite that bad, but still not the amazingly soft rulu that I have known. It's also got two seams running down the inside of each arm, and they itch like CRAZY! It definitely was not the amazingness that I was expecting when I ordered it, and I'm making a trip to the store to return it today. I do love the Race Your Pace LS, though. It's much softer (maybe not quite as soft as my Full Tilt), and I can't feel the seams. Love it!
@8:20 - I am typically 6-8 in lulu and have the DSJ in a 10. It fits snug but not too tight - just perfect.
Interesting reviews on the latest half zips. I didn't buy one yet. We'll see.
The zipper pocket at the back for the rebel runner crops is clever. Someone had mentioned it was more of a tunnel. Definitely more practical for getting your phone into (I take mine only for emergencies.) I'm not into those crops in particular, but nice advancement on a zip pocket.
I love the cuff in's, that is why I am considering the 1/2 zip..I have several rulU long sleeves but there is something about having your neck covered in the wind. I use the bottom zipper a lot on the two I got last year. Wish it were more like $68. There really isn't anything else like it at the competition. I have na UA but when I start to sweat it clings to my back. I don't think they wicks well as lulu. Happy to report that I ran in my herringbone WUP and it was love. Better than luxtreme that I am constantly yanking up.

I thought the half zips were super thin too!

Hi @4:36 I"m tempted by the DSJ too, would you say it's pretty TTS? I'll prob wear only a CRB or swiftly tech underneath. TIA :)

@ anon 5:51 am - thanks for the heads up on the itchy arm seams. I hate when that happens.
