Lululemon Sea Wheeze Weekend - Robson Store Grand Opening Special Edition Shirts

Special edition printed Cool Racerback tanks were given out at the Robson lululemon store. The first 100 people in line got them for free but they also had them for sale for the regular $42 price. I think I read people lined up at something like 6 7 am for the 10 am opening. I literally went to the store as soon as I got off the train, roller suitcase and all, and was able to get the above CRB with all the bike designs. This was the only one with the bikes on the front. The rest have the bikes on the back. They have Five Year Tees for the men with the same designs on the front.

The designs were done by a local artist and represent various neighborhoods of Vancouver.

The pink cruiser bike with wine in the basket was the hot seller. This is supposed to represent the Kitsilano neighborhood.

The mountain bike represents the North Shore. I got this tee for my son.

The fixie bike represents East Vancouver.

The bike with panniers represents the West End. (Thanks to Ms. T. for this photo.)

The speedster doesn't represent a specific neighborhood - you can see the name on the bike tube is 'Vancouver'. (Thanks to Mr. E. for this photo.)

LOL, I wish they made a suburbia bike - with an electric bike. Those do totally represents their neighborhoods though, the fixie bike for hipster east van, the north shore bike, and kits.

I snagged a kitsilano one for my girlfriend and a speedster for me. Super cute!!

LLA, do you have any intel on where the seawheeze store will be located in the Vancouver convention center? I was just at the Robson store and they had a decent remaining selection of the SE CRBs. Thanks:)

Neat! Awesome you got one!

Have a fun Sea Wheeze run and great time in Vancouver!

I got there at 8:45 and was 20th in mine. I did a quick starbucks run before and a round 8:20 there was like 10 people there. The eds outside said the line started a little before 8

Would anyone be willing to angel me one of these bicycle CRBs? Sz 6 any print but the muddy mountain bike one. I'll gladly pay you for your time. Email me at bundya@tmfhs.org

OT: there are reversible full length WU's in bordeaux/black at Toronto's Cumberland store. They put them out late yesterday afternoon when I was there. The bordeaux is more brownish as others have previously mentioned. It's not the same as my solid bordeaux CRB so I passed on them.

Those are pretty neat tops LuluAddict! That's great you were able to get a CRB for yourself and a tee for your son! Hope you have lots of fun and a wonderful time at Sea Wheeze/Vancouver.

These are cute and all but I just don't get the tie-in in terms of using bike images on these special edition tops. Lulu has little to no biking-specific apparel and Sea Wheeze is a running race, not a biking race. Am I missing something obvious?

OT - Got my Bumble Berry WUCs today! There's a logo on the let inside, so they're essentially reversible.

OT - Britt's Picks for 8/21 (yesterday) include some fun stuff. Looks like a NEW women's henley ca;led "Awesomea Henley," with a looooong button/snap placket & in RULU (yay! though it's not quite as cute in pix as the Run Sport Henley, but we shall see!), the Fluffin Awesome vest in maybe Fuel Green, and the new Chilly Chill vest you've already shared pics of. Plus Here To There Dresses in fall colors (Bordeaux Drama)...

Uh oh, first pair of WUC for me arrived today and I love them. Bumbleberry is such a pretty color. I can see why they are such a popular crop now!

I am on the east coast and my order from Tu night arrived today - super fast from the new Ohio warehouse! BB WUC is beautiful but sheer in a deep bend showing my striped underwear but I will still keep it since it is gorgeous, thick, and compressive. Not impressive with the rose colored zippers on my pinstripe forme though, making the jacket too busy.

Lusting over the Seawheeze goodies. I was in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago and wish that I delayed my trip so that I can join all the fun and shopping. Have a great run and good time for me, LLA!

Just back from the lululemon Robson store and all SE CRB's are sold out....boo hoo

OT: I got my heathered deep coal CRB today and it was a huge disappointment. Feels like it was 2 sizes smaller than all my other CRBs and the material felt scratchy. It's going back and I don't think I will order a larger size due to the scratchy material.

Also got my black herringbone vinyasa which is a keeper!

Good luck to everyone doing Seawheeze!

Hope you're having a fabulous Seawheeze weekend! So envious of the haul that you posted on Twitter. Looking forward to reading your re-cap. Wish I could have been there this year (darn night float month...), but hoping to join you for Seawheeze 2015. #bucketlist The expo items look amazing. Why can't Lulu release similar designs for those of us who couldn't make the race...what I wouldn't do for the tie-dye speeds! Sigh. Can't afford the evil bayers (starting bids at $250--the race fee+flight+hotel would have probably cost me less than the winning bid). Enjoy your weekend and the run -- you've trained hard and are ready to rock!!! Hope to join you, Lulumum, and Lulumen (Eric) in 2015!

OT - but do you know if we get SeaWheeze products in stores??

@ Anon 10:14 AM

- Vancouver
- LLL has its roots in Van and is Van based
- active citizens in all activities
- cycling is HUGE
- bikes translate well to these graphic images

I estimate that it is obvious.

I just received my BB WUC, has anyone experienced sheerness?
I can clearly see the tag in a deep bend. Anyone else???
I love the color and it would be heartbreaking to have to return :(

@ Anon. at 5:40pm:
My bumble berry WUC are sheer too! It's a gorgeous color, but I can't justify spending $72 on sheer pants.

I am so annoyed. I really love the color but seriously - after seeing three women in yoga classes this week with sheer pants - and realizing enough other companies make pants that aren't sheer - I have to return these.

UGH. The color is so gorgeous though! Damn you, Lulu!

Anon - 6:02 PM - I almost wonder if they sent you the wrong size? I just check my heathered coal CRB against 3 others that I own - they are all consistent.

For me - I love it and it's a keeper! Not the softest ever, but not the scratchiest either. I don't like the pumpkin color on the inner stitching but since its not visible, oh well!

I wouldn't consider my BB WUC to be sheer. If I'm in a deep squat you can see the tag but I rip those out anyway. I tried them on with bright blue undies with wording on them and you couldn't even see them. I typically wear nude mula Bhandawear bikini underwear with my WUs anyway so I don't see that there will be an issue.

I noticed the heathered coal crb was smaller too. I can wear 4 or 6 in crbs, though I usually buy size 6. I own about 40 of them and thought it fit more like a 4. I'll have to compare it to others.
The bumble berry crops are gorgeous and I noticed zero sheerness with mine.

My bb WUC are sheer as well, the hang tag shows clearly without bending. I can also see every dimple . They feel a little spongy too Not only do I do a squat test but also test a hip extension (aka flexed booty when coming out of a deadlift, squat etc) that's when the lumps and bumps show. Really really love the color but, seing how my gym has lights....not sure I am gonna keep. How is everyone with BD roll down cotton Wup fairing? Any sheerness there? I also got the illumina crop and like it a lot. Very opaque. BD.

My BB WUC are completely opaque. I bent and twisted in so many ways but I couldn't see my underwear. I wonder if there's different batches again.....I tried the BD roll down cotton WUC and WUP - both are opaque for me. I kept the WUC since they ended up being full length pants on me (I'm only 5' tall)!! The logo ended up being a little low on the leg but since I plan on wearing these casually in cooler temps with boots, I didn't mind. The WUP were crazy long and those went back.
