First Wearing Report - Up the Pace Crop and Mesh Bangbuster (Both are Great)

I wore my Flowabunga Up the Pace crops for a three mile run at the gym today and was really happy with how they felt. They didn't slide down and the 19" inseam legs stayed in place. My other shorter crops, Pace Crops and Run For Your Life crops,  have 17" inseams that bunch up behind my knee as I run so I was very happy with the Up the Paces. Inspire crops are 2.5" longer (21.5") and always make me feel on the warmer side, particularly the all-luxtreme ones, so I liked having a little more bare calf in these crops. The mesh panel by the knee added a little patch of coolness. I was super happy with these and think I have a new favorite run crop. If you are in the market for run crops and find the Inspires too long for you definitely check out the Up Your Paces.

I had heard good things about the Circle Mesh Bangbuster so picked on of these up yesterday when I returned the Bruised Berry Cool Racerback I ordered last week (I already have the Faded Dot Embossed Bruised Berry CRB so didn't need another one). I wore the mesh Bangbuster for my run and found it nicely cool compared to a regular Bangbuster. Also, it didn't squeeze my head as much as regular luon Bangbusters do.

I do hope you get your shine crops, @5:52 but in case you don't I tried them on in a 4 and just felt meh. Not worth the $ and didn't feel special or particularly flattering.

Which color did you get in the crops?

Awesome info! Up the pace crops are on my wish list!

Why did you return the bruised berry crb? Is it sheer compare to other solid colored crb?

Totally agree; the up the pace crop is my new favorite also! LLA - may I ask what color did you get? I have the black and I'm thinking of getting the cadet blue. Was wondering if that material is as great as the black.

Sorry I wasn't clear - I got the Flowabunga Up the Pace crops.

@ anon 7:00 pm - I didn't try on the Cadet Up the Pace but I want to now. If I do I will let you know whether they are sheer or not.

@ anon6:22 pm - The Bruised Berry CRB is not sheer at all but I already have another Bruised Berry CRB with an embossed dot print on it from a couple of years ago. I thought I would also like the plain one but they are so similar it's not worth me keeping two of them.

@anon 7:00- I tried on the cadet blue. They are completely opaque; no sheerness at all. But oddly, the back of the crop is a slightly different color blue than the front of the crop. They are all like that. Not sure why, since that didn't happen on the black based colors. If you look very closely at the pictures of the cadet blue crops, you will be able to notice a slight variation in color, which is more pronounced in person. Having said that, I still love these crops!

@ anon 10:55 pm - You are right - interesting! My first thought would be that maybe the front of the leg is regular luxtreme and the back is full on luxtreme but I tried on the new Sweet Dot Black ones and they felt like solid full on luxtreme - usually the front of the leg feels a lot cooler because of the different weight fabric. Maybe the fabric got rotated 90 degrees or something and it changes how the light hits it?
