Am I the only one who thinks the luxtreme has been terrible lately? Not just the prints, but the solids too? It's not sheer or anything, it just feels awful. It doesn't stretch as well and feels scratchy and hot. I used to love the feel of luxtreme on my skin, but now I can't stand it. Even the black.

general consensus is ZZZZzzzzzzzz...
its a great selection if youre in the market to just buy mildly different colors in the same shirt you have. was about to order the patience tank when i realized i have the same color in a CRB, two similar free to be tanks, and a bend and flow which is nearly the same thing.

I like that new tank but am not a big fan of the mesh used in it... I miss circle mesh!

I'd like to get the Rollin' etc. tank but it looks a bit weird, sheer, and wrinkly in the photo. Any try on reviews out there? How does the fabric drape?

The angel wing shorts look too much like boxers.

I think the patience tank looks skimpy ... Like the material looks skimpy ... I really am not impressed with the quality of fabrics they are choosing... I bought all four prints in the wu ( floral, stripe with floral , pretty palm in cadet and camo) and am returning all of them! They feel like something id buy at forever21 ... I thought I was just being picky but i tried a few moves in them and they don't stretch very well at all...

Ugh, the WUP and WUC in green camo lux are simply awful. Shown in the photos they look awful as well as in person! I bought the WUC online in full lux green camo and I was totally disappointed. Too shiny. Material was cheap. Fit wasn't good, like my other WUC. Definitely NOT worth the money. I already returned them. Anyone else agree it's been a snooze fest? Where are some cute WUC WAFS in the bruised berry or blue tropics! I'm holding out for some good stuff, but I wonder if it's ever coming. Come on Lulu!

The luxtreme that is being used for the printed inspires (can't comment on the WUs or solids) is definitely NOT the same. I have the secret gardens and they are comfy but they don't stretch as much. I tried on the flowabungas and they were the same. What's weird is that the bruised berry WAFS inspires are so so soft and stretchy. Maybe they are higher poly? I love the prints that are out but I want them to be soft and stretchy!!

Loving that sweet spot. Looks like sprinkles. Here's hoping for some speeds in that color.

@ anon 11:22 am - I agree. I love circle mesh, too.

Blah, where's the cute summer wear and what's up with the outdated, has-been colors (bleached coral, aquamarine, deep zin, raspberry, etc.)? Why does lulu insist on catering to the Southern Hemisphere crowd when the majority of sales come from customers in Canada and the USA? I have no interest in anything jewel toned, forest green, WUPs, or fugly camo. Those are fall/winter items

I love the Rollin with my om'mies tank, especially at the price point. I was expecting it to be more along the price line of the &go line. I bought one yesterday. It wasn't wrinkly or cheap feeling. Draped well on me, but I'm small busted. It's an inch or two shorter than I'd prefer, so I sized up from my tank size. I'm not exactly sure how I will wear it-casually for sure, but not sure about layering a cami under it or just going with a bra. It didn't gap on me like it does in some of the pics. I had a normal bra on when I tried it on and I felt comfortable that way. I take a 6 in all lulu tanks and an 8 in long sleeve tops, and took an 8 in this. I don't know how well it would work on larger busted gals. Was also unimpressed with the pretty palm WU. Very slippery feeling. Didn't even try on

I'm a 36B, size 8, 5'4" with a short torso & I sized up to a 10 in the rolling with the ommies tank too. Too short on the torso & snug on the bust wearing a free to be bra, and tight on the back in size 8. It doesn't drape like in the pics. In the size 10 it fit better. A little longer length & looser on the bust & back.

Agree with everyone saying the camo WUC material is terrible. I just opened the package and didn't even bother to try them on. So shiny and cheap looking. Seems like it won't breathe. very sad.

I just got my Stuff Your Bra tank in Bleached Coral and Opal and the Refresh Racer tank in grey. LOVE them! The Stuff Your Bra tank might just be one of my favorite Lulu tanks ever - holds everything in for kickboxing, can't wait to try for a run. One of my all-time favorite colors. And the Refresh Racer fits me so much better than the CRBs - I am vertically challenged and the low bustline on them just doesn't work for me. Love the thicker fabric, too. Opal is going back because it's not "green" enough, but this is the first time I've been a really happy camper in a while.

Agree with comments about new Lux fabric with regard to WUP. They are slippery and felt like nylons. Returned both pairs I ordered. The blue palm ones gave me camel toe.
I returned both pairs today and bought two Rollie with my ommies tank. Ended up with blue and flower tops. I am between a size ten and twelve in tops and went with twelve. I agree on length and having it feel a little tight thru back. I will wear with shorts and capris for casual. Maybe for yoga. I love getting LLL tops for casual since it seems that all I wear anymore is LLL.

Just brought the cadet long sleeve scoop neck swiftly. Beautiful neutral that tones in with all the navy variations of the past...inkwell etc. they have improved the swiftly fabric of late. This is beautifully soft and feels more substantial. Happy with this one:)

@11:30am

You'll probably be put to sleep by this reply...

I believe the reason the luxtreme differs, at least part of the reason, is as follows:

Solids are primarily piece dyed. Nice hand.

The mini stripes and WAFS are yarn-dyed. The front side looks just like the backside of the fabric. The stripe pattern is knitted into the fabric using two different color yarns. You could use the same color yarns and make a yarn-dyed solid. Yarn-dyes have the nicest hand feel imho.

The prints are produced two ways:
- printed on undyed fabric (white backside Secret Garden, Wamo Camo)
- printed on solid piece dyed fabric (Fatigue Camo)

All four processes will yield a slightly different hand-feel. The fabric construction and finishing may even be slightly different, depending on whether solid, yarn dyed, print on white, print on piece dyed. Then you throw in luxtreme vs. full-on luxtreme and you add a whole other level.

I agree the camo is a little shiny...not sure if that was something Lulu intended (in which case dear Lulu, it kills the sales) or if that was the best possible way to execute that print in full-on luxtreme fabric.

My point...it can get a little complicated. Hopefully, this helps explain some of the variation.

You can wake up now!

@ anon 7:42 pm - they definitely have improved the feel of the swiftlys. They are softer and thicker, for the most part. The heathereds are very pretty.

I have the BB WAFS inspires and they are 77% nylon, 23% lycra spandex. They are super soft and silky and feel great.

Nothing really that lights my fire like Lulu did 5+ years ago....sad. Lulu needs to regroup and reevaluate what made them so hawt a few years back. I'm worried for this company :(

Wow, what an amazing explanation! Thank you for sharing it.

Actually, I have to disagree with the negative feedback on the camo WUCs. I wasn't wild about them when I took them out of the package, but I wore them today to cross fit (super energetic WOD, lots of double-unders and squats) then on a 5 mile run - they were great. Stayed put (TTS 4), didn't slip and were comfy. I felt like they breathed pretty well (about 78 degrees on my run this morning), in contrast to the other Fullux WUCs I have tried (black, pretty palm etc). All shininess that you notice when you pull them out of the pack disappears when you put them on - then they just look like other luxtreme crops. No sheerness or "fade to white" either. Wore with non pink swiftly racerback, and also tried them with various other swiftlies - I felt they paired nicely with lots of brights and black. For once lately, I'm happy :)

@ Anon 12:03 pm, my Luxtreme Camo WUP and WUC STILL looked shiny, shiny (cheap! Cheap!) after putting them on. I'm a Sz 4 in both, fwiw, and the fit was just fine, it was only the fabric's appearance that was blech.

OT-so excited I snagged the Pacesetter in Cadet for $44 in WMTM early this morning! Awesome deal, thank you LLL!
