Did anyone find the cadet embrace crops sheer?? I love the color and style but I find them thin. Really want to keep them but sure don't want to waste my hard earned money on see thru pants. : /
OT: Fit review for the Refresher Racer Dress. I tried on the dress today at my local store and it came home with me.I agree with LLA that the fit is a TTS-snug -> think the Yoga Over Skirt as a reference. I take a 4 in tops from CRBs to luxtreme tops like the PULs and usually a 4 (sometimes 6) in tight fitting bottoms. I stuck with a 4 in the dress because the 6 had extra fabric that gathered at the tummy section. I'm 5'8 and the dress hit me mid-calf. The dress is made in Canada and the luon is high quality heavy-weight, like what you find at the Lab in Vancouver. The fit is figure conscious, while very flattering as it "hits you" in all the right places. I've tried bodycon styles like this from various stores and websites, but have always been left wanting more (bad fabric, fit, quality, etc.). This dress checked all boxes.
OT: Have the Hotty Hot Shorts in the cadet print been released to the US side of the website?
June 21 9:59 poster...what store did you get the Refresher Dress at?
If you've not seen or read this interesting article on Chip Wilson. Despite his gaffes, very admirable regarding his real estate investments and love for Vancouver. Shame about the scapular dystrophy. Love that every day starts with the Grouse Grind and that anyone he does business with must give it a go. As only a (for now) visitor to Vancouver (yearly) this is one of my most favourite things and if I lived here, I would do it several times a week (weekends both days definitely). Did it yesterday and it was awesome as always. http://www.vanmag.com/News_and_Features/Chip_Wilson_Life_after_LululemonWasn't familiar with his website either. http://40000days.whil.com/
@ anon 11:40am - thanks for pointing that out. I've been to his whil website. At least I think it was, it had his mini biography on it. It was interesting to read how he developed lululemon from fabric he had discovered during his snow board pant days.
@ anon 8:59 - just got my cadet blue embrace crops and am pretty shocked at how thin they feel. They're smooth like luxtreme but not as tightly woven. I have to try on with multiple undies to see if in keeping them. I can see the hang tag. This is my first ever purchase if thin Lulus. I was waiting for these crops since the sneak peek weeks ago! So sad.
I purchased it as well and agree with everything above. Very flattering:) I could have worn a 2 however I do not think I comes smaller than a 4 and so that is what I got. It has some extra fabric in the middle section but still looks great, don't want it skin tight anyway. For reference I usually wear a size 2 CRB's and DSP AND 4 in most other things Lulu. 5'7 120 32dd. I purchased it in in MN.
I found it at the studio city store.
I love the cadet embrace crop! they are so silky and yes a little thin. That doesn't really bother me since they aren't sheer on me. I wear a size 4 and have had no problem with them. I wish they came out in more colors because they are so soft and comfortable.
Thought I'd chime in on the Refresher Racer dress since I'm a shortie (5'3"). I bought the dress in a 4 (would have preferred a 2 but none of my stores had one--wonder if it even comes in a 2). It hits about 4 inches above my ankle, but I don't think it's too long. As the other reviewers said, it was loose in the waist, but I also wasn't looking for a super-tight fit. Very flattering IMO. For reference, 103 lbs. and 2 is TTS for me.
I would soo love an angel from Austraila to send me the form in wee are from space neon pink opal/angel wing in size 2. I have looked for this jacket in three different statesin the US and no stores seem to have received size 2. I would pay whatever cost and shipping. This also goes out to anyone who may have access to my size. Thank you in advance...love reading this blog and hearing from other lulu lovers! I would be so appreciative.contact info firstname.lastname@example.org
