Just bought the refresher racer dress from the west hartford CT store. I was told that they got them last Th. There are still sizes 6-10 available. I went with my TTS size 4. The outline of my regular underwear shows. I will try the dress on again with laser cut underwear at home. It is not for body conscious people. There also a lot of swim wears including the shorts on mark down.
Yay! More plaid speeds for me. I love some plaid shorts. It's a slightly bad addiction at this point. :) Fingers crossed they will be in the US soon.
This is something that has bothered me. I was a LOYAL speed short fan. Like. I swore by them. I have two pair from about a year and a half ago. I'm a true six and my old ones fit perfect. Every time I go in now and try on sixes (I'll add that I only wear the 4 way stretch ones) the butt looks dumpy and they look longer and loose. I Crossfit and have gained 15 lbs since starting so there's no way I've lost my butt. Has anyone else noticed this? That they've changed the shorts?

Is it just me or do these look a lot like the SeaWheeze shorts from last year? I know the colours are softer, perhaps a lot softer (kinda tough to tell from a photo), but I'm not sure why they would make shorts that are similar to those which thousands of people already have.
I too bought the refresher racer dress today! I wear a 4 or 6 depending on the item and I bought the 6. There was no 4 for me to try on. The luon is sooooo nice, soft and opaque. However, I agree with the poster above in that the outline of my thong was visible.
I also picked up a shanti surf crossback bikini top in pretty palm/black. I plan on ordering a hipster bottom from WMTM in the blue tropics/pretty palm to wear with it. I stuck with size 4 in these items because the 6s were too big. I tried on all the other bikini tops and they were pitiful in my opinion and not for me. There really is nothing to them!
I also finally got to try on the hotty hot shorts. They are not for me - too revealing. I will stick with speeds.
Just went to the HK site to check the Wee Wheezy Speeds out and realized the trim is black. The dark color in the plaid is cadet. I wish cadet was the trim color. The black wrecks it for me. :(
@stephanie- I thought it was my imagination!!! The speeds have definitely gotten longer and the butt bigger (and my butt is not small to start with: I, too, Crossfit). I have SEVERAL pair (over a dozen) in both the two and four way stretch. My old ones definitely fit shorter and tighter in the ass. So sad. I recently bought the berry spray dye and flow bunga and returned them. And then passed on the jungle because of this. I thought I was going crazy because the educators swore they didn't change!
OT but just wondering.. if the educators post pics of items that are slow to sell… does it mean that those items will probably end up in WMTM :D
You are 100% correct and it sucks:( I really prefer the older cut. I have 15 pairs from throughout the years and the new versions are awful.
I am SO glad people have realized it to. I actually used to work in one of the stores. And I always told people about the speeds. I hate the new cut and its really sad BC I have tried several other brands and other shorts at lulu and they don't work either...
Aww, I prefer the newer speeds. I have a big ass (powerlifter) and the old ones look like underpants on me.
@anon 10:40- how was the service in west hartford? I went there once and had a terrible experience.
I actually don't mind that the rear of the speed shorts is a bit longer, but I think the ultra light swift (4 way)has gotten really thin and flimsy and that is what makes it bag out. I also noticed that there is some fading after washing a few times.

The girls at the west hartford store are always very nice to me. It could be because I am a regular there, lol. One of them even gave me her email in case I need to find out whether they have a particular item in the store!
