NEW! Festival Hat and Festival Bag is Back

New hat called the Festival Hat.

From a US store - the Festival bags are back in black and Dune. The Australian website also had a Cool Breeze Spray Dye Festival bag:

Dang it! I got the Go Lightly bag thinking they weren't going to offer the Festival bag this year.
Urgh....

@ anon 11:34 am - the Go Lightly was my first little bag. Why do you prefer the Festival over the Go Lightly?

What's the difference between the Festival Bag and the Go Lightly bag?

I kicked myself for not getting a Festival bag last year, so I am very excited about this! That Scuba is unfortunate, and the model appears to think so too.

I find the Go Lightly bag has too many things dangling off it (2 main zipper pulls, the hard braided pull, the metal pull at the bottom). It may be functional for some but I find it clunky and cheaply done. Especially the ones with the mesh. I wish Lulu would bring back some of the quality details...nicer straps, high quality zippers and Lulu zipper pulls. Enough with the hard braided, fake leather pulls...imo.
I keep trying to love the bags - but ultimately end up returning them with no regrets.

I did not leave one of the earlier comments, but thought I'd respond anyway since I actually have both bags. Personally, I like the Go Lightly as well as the Festival.

I slightly prefer the profile of the Festival Bag and it's a little smaller -- which is nice because it still holds plenty.

That being said, to get to the inside of the Festival Bag you have pull up the flap before you undo the zipper. It's not a huge inconvenience, but it is a slight annoyance when I want to get to my water bottle, snack or mini toiletry bag.

Both bags have an outside zipper pockets to store phone, keys and the like. (BTW, I have the coal Go Lightly and although many understandably don't care for the mesh top, I like being able to see whether I have the small things I need at a quick glance. Mostly, I like that the strap on the coal bag provides a bit of interest and color, but the bag is still a dark, practical neutral. IMO, the other Go Lightly bags looked nice as well.)

Thanks again for the wonderful blog.

anything else flowabunga on the radar? (B&W or color!)

I like the go lightly bag better then the festival. More storage. I don't know why the festival is in such high demand. I have 2 of each. Personal preference I guess :-)

This is great news!!! I have a black festival bag that I used nearly every day last summer. Bought a pink camo golightly and promptly returned as I found it big and inefficient.

You all are convincing me that I need both the bags!

I like the Festival Hat but Canada just got a boring cadet blue color (which is really faded cadet blue, or heathered). We just got the Hotty hot skirt which was out some time ago and some Milky Way WUCs also surfaced. Strange upload. Where's the &Go stuff?!
