Yikes! that is a lot of wamo camo print.
I went to LULU at Union Square NYC
to purchase the camo camo CRB and I was not thrilled with the texture of the fabric, I ended up with a wamo camo bang buster headband and the tracker shorts in the secret garden pattern, those are really nice 4 way swift.

I looked at the speed shorts in the blue tropics and they seemed huge, a size 4 was big in comparison to the tracker shorts in the size 6.

OT
I picked up a lullaby nice asana on markdown at my local store yesterday. While trying on a few things, the male educator mentioned that the nice asana jackets were being discontinued?!? While I was paying at the cash, I asked another educator whether or not this was true, & she told me that she did not know...
I also asked both educators if that meant that the strides/in strides would be making a comeback, & neither one could tell me (and I am pretty sure that neither one of them was familiar with the stride jacket).
So!
Has anyone else heard that the nice asana jackets were being discontinued? I am not exactly convinced that this is the case, but am curious to see if anyone else has heard this rumor?
Thanks!

The secret garden trackers are AMAZING! My favorite trackers by far!

Wamo camo is OK... the only reason that I am slightly tempted by it is because so many people are making such a big deal about it. If most of us actually purchased just what we truly like, we'd have closets plush with stuff we LOVE rather than stuff we hoarded and prevented another who would have actually loved the item from buying it.

I would challenge fellow Lulu Addicts to stay true to what you truly love. You'd be surprised at how happier you are with your collection.

I've been selling off my not-so-much-loves (at a very discounted and not inflated price) and slowly building up my collection of loves-that-got-away. I feel so much better about my updated collection and feel that I am continuously grabbing for each item in a nice rotation. So, when a new gem comes along my path that makes my Lulu heart flutter, I will hopefully be able to get my hands on it and LOVE it for a long, long time. :o)

Love to you Lulu lovers!

wow that gray lulu symbol looks tacky....ruined again wish it would have been the soft pink color then i would have loved it.... they always do accent colors i don't care for and i won't buy unless its the way i like it period!

It is way too hot to be thinking about a Scuba hoodie in the US!

these colors are killing me. How many shades of pink does one need? LLA can you recall a true brown besides Fox (a kajillion year ago)? Have been waiting for a true brown forever. Maybe I am the only one who wants that? Chocolate? Espresso? Rust?

@ anon 3:02 pm - There was also Branch and Teak but those were out about the same time as Fox, years ago.

The nice asana jackets are being discontinued for a short time at this point I was told.

Interesting! They don't seem to sell that well - I see them on the markdown racks a lot. I would think they are discontinuing them while they bring back the Strides.

too bad about the nice asana jacket they are nice, however i don't need but one of those i like my jackets cozy so one for me is enough and i hardly wear it but it fits/looks like a million bucks i think its nicer than the stride instrides but i did like those too. that wamo camo is cute for a teen/young 20 something imo.

Love Wamo Camo and not just because others are 'saying' they love it. I got the WUC and CRB. While the CRB is not as smooth as my solid CRB's it is still comfy for me to wear.

I love the Nice Asana jacket and own 4 of them. I only own one In Stride jacket that I bought when I first started shopping at lululemon a few years ago. I actually prefer the fit of the Nice Asana. But I'm ok with them discontinuing bc I already own the ones I love. No need for more!!! At least not for now!!

I needed to hear exactly this!! I'll be going on a "not-so-in-love" Lulu purge very soon :) Thank you for your lovely wisdom!!

I do not care for this wamo camo scuba. It reminds me of a stuffed toy that you could win at a fair. A pink tiger, perhaps.

Ont Nice Asana jacket. Agree, on the markdown rack all the time. Can't really say I've given them that much thought. On brown: it would be great to see a nice, deep brown.

@l eller 2:47- it was 34 degrees this morning in michigan - I was definitely thinking scubas today! :)

All I can say is YUCK! That's way too much of that pattern. When I spend more than $100 on a sweatshirt I want it to stand the test of time and not go out of style in a season.

I definitely a plain Jane though, so it's no surprise that this is not my cup of tea.

FYI: scubas are being retired for the summer, asanas are being discontinued and strides are rumoured to be making a return. Also the grooves are to ba making their way out and only left in certain stores...

@ anon 4:28 am - thanks for the scoop! I wonder if they are going to change the Groove again. I can't say I am a fan of the latest version with the snug knee and fairly large flare at the bottom. I liked the previous version better.

Wamo camo makes me think of Chip & Pepper... Is anyone else old enough to remember those awful clothes?

Anonymous said...

have never liked grooves..... ever i don't even think they look good on anyone. yeah i think offering only basic colors in scuba thru summer is a good call; i'm super irritated that my local store never answers their damn phone. i know this is their policy but it sucks imo.

Stride is coming back! And bye to the groove for most stores!

In other pieces I was thinking wamo camo should be limited to the <40 bunch, but for the scuba I would have to lower it to <30. This is just my opinion of course; if you are one of those rare individuals that could wear anything and look age appropriate, then go for it. But if you are on the fence, save your $100 unless you are planning to buy this for your teen or 20 something daughter/niece.

Anon @ 4:36, I agree, this seems to scream Ivviva! Or under 20 at least
