Spotted in Stores - Groovy Stripe Dune Cool Racerback (Plus Britt's Picks Heads Up)

New cool racerback color - Groovy Stripe Dune

I went to the store today in the hopes to snag a pair of Secret Garden Tracker IIs and I saw this new Cool Racerback in Groovy Stripe Static Wave Dune. Like the Power Y in the same pattern, it's super soft.

I also lucked out and was able to find the Secret Garden Tracker IIs. These are the 4-way stretch ones made of Swift Ultra fabric so very silky feeling. They also seem to fit a bit larger than the 2-way and, I think, hang better. My store also had some nice markdowns on straggler items so I got to pick up the Heathered Vintage Pink Swiftly SS for $39 and the Blue Tropics LS for $49. I was on the fence about the LS when I first tried it on but the nice markdown convinced me to get it. I ended up returning the Ultraviolet Forme (very soft and tempting but I have Potion Purple and Pow Pink Defines so didn't really need that one) and Wamo Camo Wunder Under Crops (too bright, too crazy for me but nicely opaque) I ordered on Monday night.

Check out Britt's latest picks on what is going to be uploaded on Monday. I was right, the 50 Rep bra is returning. I know a lot of people are excited about this. Also, there is a Secret Garden Go Lightly bag coming. The top on this looks solid so I guess I'll be returning the Wamo Camo I bought last week. I like the WC but I was worried about keeping the Barely Pink mesh and trim clean. What I would really love is a Go Lightly in that striped print that is shown on that new Drishti Yoga Tote. I am loving that pattern.

Does rep bra fit like energy bra or all sport ? Is it medium support? Thanks

LLA - your posts made me go back for the WC Go Lightly bag (after ordering the aquamarine bag on upload). I am still waiting for the bag but I saw in store yesterday and it is soo cute but I agree about the mesh. I worry about the dirt issue as well as just being see through. So although I love it, I am on the fence. Debating holding out for another color.

I need some advice please from fellow Addicts. Yesterday I bought my first pair of In the Flow crops because I LOVE the blue tropics color. I really like the looks of them but here is the issue - I had to buy a size 6 because my usual full on WU size 4 was sold out (5'1", 100 lbs). The size 6 in the flows looks fine on - but definitely didnt feel real compressive like the size 4s (in another color). I also worry about the waist and whether it will stretch out and slide down. It wasnt a super tight fit in waist. I really dont want to give these up (i know I will never find a size 4). Does anyone ever size up in these or does anyone have an issue with having to keep pulling them up (this is my main fear). Any advice on In the Flow sizing and fit would be much appreciated!

its really interesting to see the mini trend, starting with secret garden and now with wamo camo, of the depth of different products of the new prints. i wonder if they will keep it up.

I'm not a big fan of them releasing the Go Lightly bag in a new color/pattern each week. (Casheew -> WAMO -> Secret Garden) I wish they released all the patterns at once so you know you're getting the one you like the most.

is that bra cleavage central? I am really liking the all sport bra. I ran in my antidote one yesterday and felt no bounce I am a 34D sometimes DD (natural).

Wow! Blue Tropics LS is already on final sale?? Do you think that it's an all store thing or just random? I'm in Northern California...wondering if I should take a trip to my store...hmm..

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 3:00 pm - I think it was totally random. Stores will do this with the last or two items to get rid of them.

LuluAddict said...

I was at my other local store yesterday and they didn't have Blue Tropic Swiftly on sale at all. I think the one I got was the only one on the rack.

@ anon 2:50 pm - The 50 Rep? No, it has front coverage like the Energy/All Sport.

LuluAddict said...

@ robyn - I had a 50 Rep awhile ago and I remember it being a big more like an All Sport in that it smashed me down and had decent support. The last time that bra was out it was made of luon, not luxtreme like the Energy and All Sport. It will be interesting to see whether they still are luon.

@ANON 1:36PM

I have heard that people who are having the problem with pulling up the flows constantly are people wearing a size too big. I know personally I tried on my TTS 6 and an 8 just because they look so dang small just sitting there haha....and the 8 was a problem.....felt like if i did any movement i'd be tugging them up. My TTS was perfect and I wear them all day sometimes before going to dance and no issues. sorry =/ I know its frustrating when you cant find your size.

@anon 1:36pm - the size 6 will def be too big for you, any bit of sweat and they actually loosen up - i know you are in love with the color, but if they are too big you won't end up being able to really use and enjoy them, in my opinion...

@anon 3:00pm, yeah stores do that, when they have "One Ofs, or very few of something left - it's left to each store to decide on those 1 of mark downs... - great way to sometimes score great items!

Will be curious to see how the 50 Rep Bra is for running. I just got my 1st All Sport Bra in Pretty Purple. Fit & support seem identical to Energy Bra. Both are super comfy but there's definitely some bounce...guess it depends on how bounce tolerant you are to decide whether to run in them. I have actually done short 3-mile runs in & Energy & didn't mind the slight bounce. I'm 34C & 8 fits great in both. I tried a 6 in the All Sport to see if that would help reduce bounce (6 is my TTS according to Lulu size chart) but bounce was the same & it just gave me spillage. I find the bounce the same in the Ta Ta Tamer but find the TTT very uncomfortable on long runs....so my perfect bra search continues!

@ 1:36 PM, for In the Flows, in a size up you'll be constantly pulling them up and they will bag out. Remember, the fabric is fully elastic. I know you want to keep the color, but remember that LLL is always making some new, nice color.

Thanks for the intel on the Groovy Stripe Static Wave Dune CRB. Good to know it is soft. I would love a solid Dune CRB or a full heathered Dune one.

I have 2 pairs in the flow that are size up cause I have lost weight and they are still fine they fall a bit but nothing major :) the in the flow blue tropics havnt came out online in canada yet i dont think and they just hit canadian stores

@anon1:36 girl .. I hate to say it but they will likely drive you nuts. I'm 5'5" 125 and I'm constantly tugging up my size 4's with most cardio. :-/

@ anon 1:36...I own 5 pairs of in the flows (2 in size 6 and 3 in size 4). I am 5'2" and 110 pounds. I initially bought two pairs of the size 6 because when I tried them on, they fit perfectly. However, I found that during my workouts, the fabric started to stretch and the waistband would slide down and I had to keep pulling them up. So since my first two in the flows, I've only purchased size 4 and they fit a lot better. I don't have a problem with the waistband sliding down.

If you plan on just wearing your size 6 in the flows for casual wear or very light workouts then it's fine. I think that's what I'm going to have to do with my first two pairs. However, if you are going to do more intense workouts in them, then you'd probably want a size 4.

Anyone know the size of the pocket with the Tracker II shorts? Like can you get a phone in it? (iphone)

LLA: Would you say the secret garden tracker shorts could possibly be a size down item?
I ordered my TTS during the upload, but it's been my experience that some trackers fit larger than others. Although I've never actually tried to size down.
The numbers in my "size down" for the secret garden trackers are dwindling, so I am wondering if I should order them just to be safe.

@ Anon 6:49 pm:
You could definitely fit an iphone, but I don't know how comfortable it would be when running.

This is Anon 1:36...Thank u so much everyone for your help. Another reason why I love this blog! Well, it's not what I wanted to hear but I am glad I know now. I will still hold them for the two weeks to decide and like Anon 559 said, only keep them if I decide I mainly want them for casual wear. A falling waistband during workouts would drive me nuts! Thanks again!

@ anon 4:20 am - It's hard to say they are a size down. The inner liner for sure does not run big but the outer layer seems to. However, I did try on the size down at the store and it pulled across my hips so I was not able to size down. If your TTS in the 2-way are a bit on the baggy side I would say you could size down but be aware the inner liner might be snug and cut into you.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 4:20 am - I mean to write that if you size down the inner liner might be snug and MIGHT cut into you.

LLA will the Camo mod moves crops ever come to the US? I've been waiting and waiting… feeling hopeless now! I know it's silly for athletic wear but I really liked them and have held off getting any other crops.

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 2:33 pm - I don't know. If I had to guess I'd say no since lululemon seems to be changing palettes into the summer colors now.

Thanks LLA :)

OT Does anyone know if the Rest less tanks have hit Canadian stores yet? I've yet to see them in my stores.

lulu said...

Hi LLA,
Any feedback on the Tranquility Pant? They look nice in the 2 photos here but I wondered if you've had a chance to see them in person?

LuluAddict said...

@lulu- I've only seen the post power crops in my local store so far.

I ran in may antidote all sport bra for about 4 miles and had no bounce issues, I like the bra snug. I am a 34D sometimes DD (natural) and the 6 fit just fine and I didn't feel uncomfortable or felt lack of support. I guess everyone's body is different.
